A poster is affixed to a plain white wall, displaying a cartoon illustration of a smiling coffee pot character holding a plate with a pastry. The poster includes the text 'Good Things Happen After Coffee' and a smaller line 'let's get this day going!'. The top and bottom edges of the poster have red text, partially visible, reading 'CRITICAL OBJECTS'. The overall setting appears to be indoors, possibly in a coffee shop or office environment.

Came here to study one day and also try this place since I drive by it all the time. There is minimal seating so I was lucky to have found a spot, and asked the barista what to order. She recommended a smores latte that was a new feature, and that it would be best in the regular size. Trusting her I ordered that and sat down to study. She served my latte to me with a cracker on top with torched marshmallow on it. The sweet and salty combo was really nice! The latte itself was pretty good after that, I didn't taste too much smores outside of the topping but the coffee balance overall was really nice. There wasn't much excess noise happening so I was able to focus quite well, and I also liked the fact that it was a flower shop as well as a cafe so it made the atmosphere nice! Overall would return again, but make sure to go early if you would like a spot!

The storefront window shows a white graphic illustration of various coffee-related objects, such as cups, beans, and brewing equipment, arranged in a circular design. The word 'coffee' is prominently displayed in the center of the illustration. Above the window, a sign reads 'DOPAPEN COFFEE STOP' in bold, uppercase letters. Inside, there are visible plants and seating, with reflections of people and buildings outside. The window provides a clear view of the interior and the street scene beyond.

A true hidden gem in Markham for coffee lovers! I've passed by this area so many times and never once realized there was such an amazing cafe inside this boutique floral studio. It's truly a iykyk spot. If you're into trying unique roasts from around the world or speciality drinks with a bit of an Asian flair (think matcha & osmanthus tea flavours), this cafe is for you. Prices are on the higher end, so I would only come for the speciality roasts and drinks and not for a typical coffee/latte. As you enter the shop, be prepared for a light floral scent. It's not overwhelming by any means - in fact, I like how it adds to the experience. There's some tables & coffee bar seating available, but not enough for me to recommend it as a cafe workspace. It's much better suited for the casual chat, especially since it can feel crowded when it gets busy. I visited during a busier time, so I found that there was a longer wait time to order and get my drink, and the baristas were quite busy. Service wasn't bad, but considering how they were so busy, I can understand that they probably didn't have time to engage in friendly small talk or explain their menu as much. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Fall 2023 menu - The image features two menus from Dopapen Coffee placed on a wooden table. The menus list various drink options, including classics such as espresso, latte, and seasonal latte, along with specialty drinks like apple tea, orange lemonade, and different types of milk teas. Each item is accompanied by illustrations and prices, with some options indicating size variations. The menus are printed on white paper with black and colored text and graphics, providing a clear overview of available beverages.

Really cute spot inside the flower shop. There's plenty of seating to sit in and appreciate the quirkiness of the shop. I really liked my osmanthus matcha latte - it was really delicious. Service was friendly. I would definitely stop by again when in the area.

Cozy and small flower shop / cafe! It's a bit hard to find and parking is limited. I usually just park at whole foods and walk over! This time I got the elderflower americano fizz and it was definitely different! Service was quick and friendly.

Peanut butter latte - A paper cup filled with coffee, featuring a cartoon face with glasses printed on it, is placed on a glass table. The background shows a window with a view outside, and a chair with a woven seat is partially visible. The setting appears to be a cafe or coffee shop.

Great local coffee shop in downtown Markham. Relatively new, it's both a coffee and florist shop, which can be confusing walking in. Plenty of indoor seating with lots of cute little things on display creating a cute and cozy ambiance. Service was impeccable and their prices are somewhat reasonable. I had their pour over which was great, the expresso bean and my wife opted for their peanut latte which was a cool experience. Overall great little Cafe.

Latte Large, Red Lotus blend - A hand is holding a white paper coffee cup with a yellow lid in front of a storefront with large glass windows. The store has a sign that reads 'Doka Doka Hand &...'. The window features decorative white flower drawings, and the background shows reflections of trees and parked cars. The image is taken outdoors during daytime.

I never know there is a coffee shop so nearby in my area, until I don't have my car with me and struggling to grab a coffee, then I found this on Google map. Their coffee is nice, tried both Supernova and Red Lotus blend and we like the Red Lotus one. The coffee they brew is much better than Starbucks. Of course, it is just my personal preference :)

The image shows a plain gray wall decorated with multiple small, colorful paintings and a calendar. The paintings include abstract designs, a sunset over water, a flower, and other artistic images. There is a quote in black letters reading, "WHAT DO YOU CALL SAD COFFEE DEPRESSO." Two framed artworks with red backgrounds and black Chinese characters are placed on the floor against the wall. The setting appears to be an art display or a cafe interior.

Everything about place was amazing. I came here the other day to catch up with a friend and to do some work, and ended up staying for almost 5 hours. I had a great time overall and this cafe hit the mark in so many ways - from the super cute aesthetics, to the cozy vibes and atmosphere, to the tasty drinks, to the friendly service. It was also unique in that it is both a flower shop and a coffee shop. How awesome is that?! I would definitely come back.

What a cute place, located in a flower shop. There's only a few tables and chairs, approx. 10. Barista was so nice on the day we visited. Latte was alright. If you happen to be in the area and need coffee, def give it a try.

Latte with hatch gamma - Two white paper cups with beverages are positioned on a wooden table in a cafe environment. One cup contains a latte with a heart-shaped latte art design, and the other cup appears to be empty or contains a different drink, with a sticker featuring a cartoon face with glasses. The background includes cafe signage and various objects, indicating an indoor cafe setting.

Finally, a proper matcha latte! Maybe I just really like my matcha bitter, but The Library…read moreSpecialty is one of the best places to go to for matcha. The service was prompt and efficient, and there were a few spots inside for seating. It was quiet on a Saturday afternoon when we got there, but more people started coming in afterwards, and got some iced matcha (despite the cold, haha)! The hojicha latte was tasty as well, it tasted similar to the ones we had in Japan.

That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. I understand their pain hahah)

This shop has been repeatedly recommended by many coffee enthusiasts in Toronto, but it's not…read morereally like a "coffee shop." It's more like a roasting factory dedicated to perfecting coffee. I ordered a pot of hand-drip "Melona." The first sip wasn't particularly amazing. But it was very clean. Slowly, the clear fruity aromas of honeydew melon and cantaloupe emerged, not overpoweringly acidic, but rather a gentle, restrained layering. It's the kind of coffee you find yourself drinking the whole pot without even realizing it. The space inside is also a big plus. The front area displays various coffee beans and related products, and a whole wall of transparent glass allows you to see the roasting factory in operation behind it. And their product line is incredibly comprehensive: coffee beans, equipment, instant coffee, canned coffee, espresso, and even ice cream (The most complete I've ever seen) I didn't have time to try many beans today, but I'm already looking forward to the Lychee flavor I'll be ordering in a few weeks More suitable for coffee enthusiasts (especially pour-over lovers) Clean flavor with detail, not the overly pleasing type Perfect for sitting alone for a long time

Honestly I'm feeling mixed because I like the calmness in the past. However, I am happy to see Hatch doing more. Love the aesthetics.
