A cute little place! The ambiance is really cute and the servers were so great. They did confuse my order but they ended up making it right by giving me another cone LOL so I'm very happy about that

Place is busy and I understand why! They had a great selection of asian gelato flavors to choose from. I couldn't resist the Vietnamese coffee flavor and my bestie got the yuzu cheesecake. Vietnamese coffee was rich, strong in flavor, and tasted like the real deal. The yuzu cheesecake was bright, citrusy, and creamy. We love that they also have a dairy-free selection too!

The gelato was good and they allow samples. I got thw ferro dubai chocolate and pistachio. I enjoyed the pistachio and dubai and ferro was okay. The price was around $8 and they have many options. Service is nice and friendly and helpful. I recommend stopping by if you are looking for a sweet treat

A little gelato shop who makes their gelato in house every morning! My gf and I don't have a big sweet tooth but/so this gelato is perfect for us. Not too sweet with super creamy texture. The pistachio gelato tasted REAL! The macchiato was delicious too! Both compliment each other if you're looking for a combo. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors! I recommend trying a flavor, theyll give you a sample spoon. Keep that spoon and reuse it when you get your scoops! They'll be happy and you'll feel good you didn't have to waste another spoon.

Saw this place from across the street after having lunch with a co-worker. We decided to go in. The store isn't very large but it was bright & clean. There was only 1 person behind the counter. I got a taste of the Not Nutella dairy free. But ended up getting the hazelnut flavour in a cup. It was delicious. The cup is a good size & only cost me $6. My co-worker got the cherry cheesecake in a cone & that was $7. I'd like to come back & try more flavours. I wish they had the black sesame in dairy free flavour but oh well. Next time I think I'll try Lychee dairy free.

Best gelato in North York! Staff was friendly and let us try a bunch of flavours. We got the blueberries n' cream & Yuzu cheesecake. Yuzu cheesecake was amazing! Would definitely recommend.

During the last mini heat wave I was told to go try this Gelato place just south of Yonge and Finch. I looked up the place and saw they had Dairy free items (yes lactose intolerant now - long story) so I definitely had to check them out. Lots of great options for everyone and I decided to go for the Watermelon flavour on a waffle cone. One word fantastic! I went for just one scoop which was plenty. The flavour was perfect. Great flavour not too sweet. Very refreshing on that hot day. I will definitely be returning to try the multiple flavours this summer, hopefully it's a hot one!

Great gelato spot near Yonge/Finch! The inside is small and it's take out only, though they have a nice "Instagram" wall with a nice neon sign. They have a wide variety of dairy and vegan flavours, including some Asian-inspired flavours such as green tea latte and black sesame. All the flavours I've tried have been really tasty. Highly recommend checking this spot out for your next gelato fix!

The best gelato I've had in Toronto and I'm vegan! The variety of vegan flavours is amazing and they taste so good. I am addicted to the Pina colada! Thank you for wonderful gelato and friendly service! The non-vegan options are insane and look delicious!

Have been here multiple times. This place is almost hidden but a great find. Price for gelato is very reasonable. Flavours and tastes are amazing. They let you sample b4 you buy.

I got the matcha mango bingsu which came out to just over $20 after tax and tip. What was most disappointing was how little of a matcha taste I got from it. The base was a very sweet milky taste, and I really wish they infused the matcha directly into the shave ice itself. The matcha was just drizzled on top with matcha powder, along with some whipped cream which only diluted the matcha taste further. On the other hand, I will say they are generous with the mango topping, which were very fresh and perfectly ripe. They gave one single mochi cube which I feel they should either give more of or none at all. The environment itself is very noisy. Not sure what it is about the walls but they do not absorb sound well at all. Voices echo and bounce off the walls like crazy, it sounds like everyone is yelling and talking over eachother in there. That aside, the space and decor has a cute vibe and the self-serve water/coffee bar is a nice added touch. If I ever come back here, it would either be out of convenience or to try their drinks/a different dessert. Unfortunately the bingsu falls short in my opinion especially for the price tag. The base should resemble more of the flavour rather than rely on toppings.

A collection of cheesecake slices, custard tarts and pastries were available for pick up. The staff was courteous and has a self service concept. For dine ins - a minimum of 8$ per person order is essential, so be mindful of this criteria else you can surely opt for take aways! Mango crepe- amazing portions and the crepe was exceptionally soft. The consistency was perfect coupled with fresh sponge cake and mango bits. The STAR was the ice cream- flavours which felt authentic and a much needed change from the artificial coloured mango based ice creams widely available. TOTALLY WORTH YOUR BUCKS! Just a suggestion the main entrance is just opposite the cashier making it congested at the area, crumpling the space.

The only reason for the 4 star review is that the ambiance is lacking and far more of a takeout place than a sit down, with plastic cutlery being used for dine-in. You put your order in through a QR code so don't have much to say about service but the food and drinks did come out quickly. That being said, I'd definitely come back here in a heartbeat.

Coconut Pandan Cheesecake & Black Sesame Tart -- Worth a Try!…read more Just tried Uncle Tetsu's two newest flavors and honestly both were a solid experience! The Coconut Pandan Cheesecake really stood out to me -- the pandan flavor is incredibly dense and rich, and the texture is great. The only thing is, since it's freshly made, it can be a little too moist by the time you get home. My tip: Bake it for a bit and it firms up nicely. Also, huge props on the green packaging -- it's clear they put real thought into matching the box to each flavor. It makes every new release feel special, which I really appreciate as someone who loves having something new to look forward to! The Black Sesame Tart is a must if you're a tart lover -- the tart shell itself is chef's kiss as always. The black sesame filling is super rich and indulgent, though I personally found it a touch too sweet for my taste. Definitely a treat-yourself moment, so go in knowing that! Overall, great seasonal picks from Uncle Tetsu. If you're curious, go try them before they're gone -- limited flavors don't last long!

Service is always attentive, friendly, and welcoming. Their original cheesecake is great along with their original cheese tart, matcha cheese tart, and more recently their hojicha cheese tart. The space is small but it is not difficult to decide what to order as there are only a limited amount of items on the menu. Overall, a great place to pick up a small snack or dessert to enjoy at home. Definitely will be returning to pick up more desserts in the future!

Cafe N One - Lavender Soufflé Pancake

CAFE N ONE . …read more Cafe n One is probably one of my favourite "new" restaurants that I tried recently. Located on the 2nd floor at Yonge and Finch, Cafe n One is a bright, cute cafe serving Japanese inspired brunch items, drinks, pastas and desserts. . . Classic Breakfast 4/5 Chicken Karaage 3/5 Croffles 5/5 Green Tea Soufflé Pancake 4.3/5 Latte 4.8/5 . . We arrived around 10 minutes after open and there were already a handful of people seated. The drinks and food came out pretty quickly except the soufflé pancakes which takes 25minutes to prepare. My favourite was the croffle. For $10, you get 2 big pieces of croffle which tastes great with either whipped cream or syrup. The chicken karaage was kind of dry on its own, but dipping it in the syrup and eating it with the croffle made it better. If you want a hearty breakfast, the classic breakfast is a solid choice. The soufflé pancake was fluffy and delicious, well worth the wait. I was amazed by the detailed latte art as well. Highly recommend this cafe!

We happened to drop by the day of the massive Iranian protest, and were surprised by how much business it had, and also how soundproof the windows were. - Classic breakfast: lots of food! Pork belly was especially nice -- rich as crispy. - Karaage honey hot cake: Quite a bit of food too, hot fried chicken can't go wrong! - Ice Americano - Iced houjicha latte: didn't really get much houjicha flavour. Prices were reasonable for brunch in the area. The service was fast and efficient, and with a smile. There were a lot of customers that day, and we felt the indoor noise level was a bit loud to have a comfortable conversation. Still... We'd love to come back and try more of the menu.
