I opted not going for any of the "kooky" combinations advertised as they looked WAY too sweet for me. There's only 3 soft serve flavours here. Vanilla, chocolate or twist (vanilla + choco). He highly recommended that I opt for a waffle cone if I was going for a classic dip (I was leaning towards just getting a cup). He was so adamant that he threw in the waffle cone for free! Another fantastic local discovery from this summer's ice cream adventures!…read more I knew it was a good sign when 1) they kept lids on the gelato (good temperature control), and 2) the flavour selection wasn't too extensive (quality over quantity). The fruit gelato wasn't overly sweetened, which usually indicates that they're using actual fruit rather than fruit juice/concentrate. The gelato was also super creamy and refreshing, but it didn't immediately melt in the humidity. Price wise, I was very pleased with the amount of gelato in their small size (and you can get 2 flavours). Staff were very friendly, open to providing multiple gelato samples, and I noticed that the owner even came out briefly to chat with a customer and graciously received feedback. The clean, modern aesthetic of this shop also gives you a sense that you've temporarily escaped the hustle & bustle of the nearby Yonge St plazas. Eager to come back to try the coffee and chocolates!
