Prices have increased for 2024, the King Donut is now $5.19, a croissant is $6-7. A new app for the Canadian stores changed over so all previous points have been lost. Way less deals and promos than previous. Quality is still there, and most pastries will sell out before lunch. Must try items are anything croissant related, the King Donut filled with fresh pastry cream. The cakes slices are nice, not overly sweet. It's really pretty for photos like the rainbow one but my kids aren't keen on finishing these ones. So at that price point it's suited for adults .

My friends bought me pastries and a whole cake for my birthday earlier this month, and I absolutely enjoyed all of the desserts! The Strawberry cake with fresh cream was delicious, and the pastries were amazing too. I really enjoyed the cronut, and the almond croissant very much ^^

Super small. $8.5 plus tax

I got a rainbow cake slice as takeout so only commenting on the cake itself. The cake slice is so small in real life and it costs a whopping $8.5 plus tax. It's mostly for the gram. The cake itself is moist and fluffy, the cream is light, the layers do have different flavors to it so it's not just food coloring, to my surprise. The cake tastes good, but it's too small and too expensive.

I heard this place was good and wanted to check it out! The bakery was spacious with a good assortment of pastries to choose from. There was a nice seating area that reminded me of, you guessed it, Paris. I selected a few pastries that I wanted to try and also tried their strawberry shortcake which I heard was amazing. I'm not sure if it was overhyped but I didn't think it was that special. Overall, I thought the pastries were mediocre for their steep prices. The service was brief and they were able to assist me right away. I think I'd have to take some convincing to go back again. It wasn't my cup of tea but I can see others enjoying it.

Wonderful cute bakery in New Market! You would think you left Canada and flew all the way to Paris. All of the items are presented so beautifully and looked very fresh. They also have coffees, teas, and smoothies. We were visiting from out of town and the service seemed very friendly. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat if I lived here!

My colleague and I were at a workshop and needed a quick lunch. We found this plaza and it had so many places to choose from that I felt like we hit the lunch jackpot! I haven't heard of Paris Baguette but the reviews were good and photos looked enticing. Upon entry I noticed the selection was very diverse not just in bakery items but also in culture. There were the regular croissant options (almond, chocolate, ham & cheese, etc) various breads, donuts and even mochi donuts and Asian milk breads! The cake display was impressive as well. With almost too many choices, I got a ham & cheese croissant for lunch (heated) and took home the coffee cronut, an almond croissant and chocolate one. The cronuts were quite good, not as flakey as the one I had in Ottawa, but still delicious. The almond and chocolate croissants were good too but I prefer almond croissants that use marzipan. The ham & cheese croissant was delicious!

Stumbled upon the plaza and didn't realize we had Paris Baguette in Newmarket! lol I could smell the bread as soon as I walked in. We went around 3pm so there weren't too many people. We grabbed few items to try. The donuts and fruit pastry were quite tasty but I found the custard a bit too sweet. Would definitely come back to try the cakes!

This place is new, tasty and delivers! The cronut and croissants were super tasty. The mochi donuts were fun to try and still nice but I definitely preferred the other stuff. Can't speak to service or ambiance because it was delivered but my order was right and packed well.

a cute little addition in newmarket! n_n i am always looking for a cute coffee shop that is not starbucks and paris baguette may be it! it's right off the 404 and seems like your average basic cafe - and it is, in a way. they had a wider selection of pastries than i've ever seen in a regular cafe and unique ones - ranging from fruit tarts to croissant donuts and even this one i definitely have to try next time, a croissant crisp?! the pastries are really filling and delicious - worth every calorie. the latte is okay, didn't find it super creamy or anything out of the ordinary. if anything, it is a bit more watered down than i would like. the only thing is, i really don't enjoy how a latte after changing the milk ends up being $8. (not just here, but that's just the going price now?) that is absolute insanity to me. it's literally beans, PLS can we go back. oh, service was really nice and efficient!

The croissant was great - very light, buttery & flaky. It's up there as one of the best croissants I've had

Paris Baguette is a delightful addition up North - finally! Love that everything is baked fresh daily and there are so many goodies to choose from. My favourites are the original/coffee croissant donut, mochi donuts and cakes. Paris Baguette has quickly become my go-to spot for satisfying my pastry cravings or treats to share with friends when we have guests over.

Coming back here one year later and it still does the job. Lots of pastries and drinks. The almond chocolate croissant was a little dry though. A few tables. Clean and bright.

Solid addition to Newmarket; I'm not so sure why the one downtown is taking so long......?? Egg and cheese on brioche was very good. Chicken on baguette, nice! Croissants, lots of pastries... Clean, new and lots of nice sunlight

I love the taste of the home made spaghetti. fresh juices like carrot, apple, orange and few vegetables. It's an excellent place for dating because it is very clean, quiet, classy, cozy and has a romantic atmosphere. For friends gathering is number one as well. So they do have sandwiches, pasta and some hot plates if you do desire. The interior quite cozy with dim lighting. We parked ourselves right on the armchairs the moment we stepped into the empty restaurant on a weekday afternoon. Cappuccino ($2.75) and Cafe Mocha ($2.99) both serves in proper glassware.. which I think does enhance the experience... (+0.5 star). The roast of the coffee is the way I like it... bold with a lot of character.. I cannot comment on the Mocha, but seems like my friend really enjoyed that. Tons of magazines for one to read... so while I was sipping my java and daydreaming.. my friend just busy flipping through all the fashion magazines...

I haven't been back there for a while, mainly because I haven't visited Newmarket in what feels like ages. I broke that streak today. After having lunch at Sunset Grill, I did a tour of the plaza to see what businesses and eateries were around. I then noticed new stores across Strigley Street. I saw this Starbucks. Even though I still had an iced black tea with me, I decided to give this drive-thru a whirl. I like how new Starbucks drive-thrus are designed these days. The lanes are wider. You have a decent set of menus. The speakers when you place your order are crisp and clear. I pulled up and asked whether dark chocolate peanut butter cups were available. I had a friendly barista check. She said yes and asked if I wanted one package. Yes! I was happy. I pulled around the building and waited for a bit before I got to the window. I paid using my app. The barista was incredibly cheerful. She handed me my chocolate peanut butter goodies and we wished each other a great day. I'm currently eating my chocolate peanut butter cups. They are consistently delicious. It's crazy that this Starbucks is perhaps a one-minute drive away from my old Starbucks hangout. However, if I had a choice, I would return to this one. Next time, I'll go in the cafe and check it out. (3)

The store sign could pass as a cyber cafe or something to be honest... definitely not the homely south american place it is! I came in not knowing much about colombian cuisine but the owner was very friendly and explained to me what the dishes were. He even showed me pictures of the more representative dishes. Some quick grab and go items are available- empanadas, a cheese stuffed bread called tequenos and stuffed potato balls. Honestly, the potato balls could be a meal itself- corn flour batter, mashed potato, some seasoned beef with rice and a quarter of an egg. Seasoned to perfection! Also comes with a white sauce that oddly reminds me of a tartar sauce, but works well. I'm personally not a huge fan of empanadas so I can't give it a fair review, but it did have lots of filling. As for entées, I tried the patacón con carné which was pulled flank steak on fried plantains. The plantain was a nice change to your usual carb base and it was fried so it held nicely. Also had an arepa with cheese, avocado, beans, and beef. It was different but enjoyable. The baked goods are homemade. The dulce de leché churro was essentially a stuffed donut and didn't really stand out. The guava pastel was soo good! It was the flakiest pastry stuffed with a common guava paste they eat as a treat. They have lots of cakes too.

If you've ever had Colombian food before, then you will be transported back with every bite. If you've never had it before, you have to try. One of the best cuisines in my opinion.
