Oolong tea + fresh milk + boba
    Cindy M.

Nice aesthetic interior for small groups and bathroom available around the corner of the building. Overall I would've given a 1 star but the boba was top notch! I really enjoyed the boba, but the drink was too milky and had no tea flavor. I'll try the same order again at another location.

Customer service is good! Staff are friendly! Ordered bubble tea drinks and tasted great! This is the second location to visit. Cafe is cute and aesthetic! Enough space for a small group. This brand for tea is more on the high end side.

Being always down to try a new bubble tea place, my friend had a 50% opening coupon from FanTuan and recommended their original milk tea for its chewy pearls. From my understanding, they're newer to the bubble tea market and this convenient location recently opened nearby St. Patrick station. While I wasn't able to customize as much as I usually do (the options for sugar levels were regular or less, so I went for less), what set this bubble tea apart from other ones I've had would be the frothiness of the milk. It was very light and airy, the pearls were soft as promised! Unfortunately, if I didn't have the 50% off, I likely wouldn't get it since ~$9 is quite steep for an original milk tea :( I did appreciate the pleasant customer service and how they made it fresh for me! I also liked the decor inside and how there was ample seating both inside and outside. While I didn't have time to look at their other offerings, a quick glance showed that there seemed to be more options than ordering through FanTuan.

This is another location of Chicha San Chen in downtown Toronto, located on Elizabeth Street. Unlike the Chinatown location, this one has BOTH indoor and outdoor seating. However, the outdoor seating at the Chinatown location is a bit nicer. The drinks are good, albeit a bit pricey. They are also somewhat small, and there is only one size available. The tapioca pearls are cooked well and seasoned just right (not overly sweet). My personal favorite is the green tea. You order at the counter, and when your order is ready, your number is displayed on an electronic board. When I visited, there was also a gift card special: you could buy a $115 gift card for $100 or a $240 gift card for $200. The atmosphere here is pleasant, and the space is clean. There are books you can read, and the mirrors on the ceiling create a spacious feel.

Bubbletea has an excellent mousse foam over a strong tea and pretty chewy boba. A bit pricey but good quality.

I was walking around city hall when I saw the sign for Chicha San Chen. This location just opened and they were offering 10% off discount so of course I'm gonna stop in and get one. The interior is very beautiful and nicely designed for a bubble tea shop. I got one of their best sellers, the Honey Osmanthus Oolong tea with tapioca, light honey and less ice. Right away I can notice a difference between this and other bubble teas. The drink had a nice smooth and silky texture. The floral notes of the osmanthus were very nicely accentuated by the honey, yet you can still taste the oolong flavour. The tapioca had a nice and chewy texture. Will definitely come back to try the other flavours.

Small bubbletea shop that also serves pastries and Filipino meals…read more Their standout offering, of course, is the bubbletea. The tea is loose-leaf, so is elevated from the typical bubbletea. But it's the tapioca that really makes the drink shine with how fresh and bouncy they are. For a tea shop, this place also has really good food. Tried the scones and they were super buttery, very flavourful, and were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside like all great scones. We also got some Filipino meals - the lechon kawali and lumpia super crispy, the bangsilog had a good portion size for the price, and the halo-halo was refreshing. Place is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a couple of small tables to sit 4. Service is friendly. Tea offerings are extensive. Worth a drop-by.

Walking in, there's a great amount of cakes, cookies, and drinks. Cookies: The matcha white chocolate cookie was freshly made. Quite soft and delicious. Reasonably sized cookie. Yema cake: It was my first time having the Yema cake so I was looking forward to try it. I got the ube flavour and a soft chiffon cake texture. It wasn't too sweet and was perfect for a nice small dessert. The staff were friendly and the service was good. It's too bad there's limited seating as it would be great to dine-in. I definitely want to come back to try out their drinks!
