The flavour of the milk tea isn't watered down like some of the other bubble tea places and you can actually taste the tea! May i say it has literally been a sweat shop in there.... or a hot sauna whenever i visited. My friend kept wanting to leave because it was so hot. Furthermore, the washroom was out of commission for a month. And finally when it was usable again, there was no toilet paper. On the plus side, the drinks were very good, especially the Gaga passionfruit juice. I like this store because it's pretty big and has a lot of seating. I hate when a store doesn't have enough space inside to take pics of my drinks/food. The service here is also good. The workers are really nice and they make drinks quick. I waited only a few minutes after ordering to get my drink. My go to drinks: - Milk Tea with grass jelly and/or pudding. I really like their milk tea and it pairs well with these toppings. If you like tapioca too, you could get the 3 Guys, Milk Tea with a combo tapioca, grass jelly and pudding. - Yakult drinks. I love the yakult drinks especially the mango and lemon ones, grapefruit is pretty good too. I love the yogurt flavour that's reminiscent of my childhood. *the washroom here is gross. Unlike Chatime's, Coco's matcha wasn't powdery and it didn't collect at the bottom which means I didn't get a mouthful of pure, chunky, matcha powder. It was pretty smooth and I got a decent amount of tapioca. Will definitely go back to this location when I'm around the area. I visited on a Sunday night around 10 PM. The shop was still very busy and all the tables were full. The shop is quite small and very narrow so there's not too much room to maneuver around everyone. I joined the line to order and there were about 4 more people in front of me. I came because I was really craving bubble tea and they had the new promo going on for the Large Brown Sugar Pearl Latte for $4.25. I'm a little disappointed that I couldn't customize (I usually order it with 0% sugar and 0% ice) but the waiter said the settings were pre-set for the drink and they couldn't change it. That just means they're making it in bulk and letting it sit the whole day. I ordered it anyways because it's cheap and the taste was alright, nothing spectacular. It was a lot more milkier than I had imagined and more sweet than I would have liked. I don't enjoy drinking super sweet stuff so I will say it was less sweet than I would've guessed, since they had it pre-set at 100% sugar. I would go out of my way to avoid this place at all costs. 30 minute line up out the door, when I arrived closer to the menu I was struggling to find just a simple lychee bubble tea, they had every single flavor and option you could think of, but sadly no lychee. I was pretty upset with this, as all over the juice bar was bragging about how worldwide and famous this place is, I opted out for a king lemon tea drink thinking it would make me feel better in the heat. it didn't it was very tart and bitter, I should have ordered a higher sugar level. between the long line up's and no seats free, this location is a hard no for me. and I've seen the line ups on days riding the 510 spadina, so its not just my experience with this one visit. parking is available on the street, in some above and underground lots. and transit options are thje 510 spadina directly, and the 505 Dundas and 506 college with a bit of walking. would go out of my way not to recommend this juice bar at all. read more

I felt a little adventurous.... why not try something new ?!!! Well.... everything just when downhill when I order the drink.... I usually order my drinks a little less sweet. I'm not a huge fan of very sugary drinks. When I asked the waitress to lower my sweetness level for the strawberry slush...she hesitated a bit. She said she can only do 70% sweetness which is fine to me. Strawberry slush with tapoica (70% sweetness ) - the drink was very bland. There was only a little hint of strawberry taste :( if I ever order this drink again DON'T play with the sweetness level... keep it at 100% sugar level. Unless you enjoy very bland drink. The tapoica was okay. It was a little too mushy for my liking. Overall , not a happy camper but I'll give this location another chance. I'm probably going to avoid any slushie drinks here. Been here a few times to grab their summer drinks which are on special and the environment of the store always looks fairly clean and tidy. There was never a long line up or wait time, however I do find it inconvenient as where the cash register is and how the line up goes. If you are trying to walk closer to take a look at the menu and there's a line up going on, you do need to squeeze by customers in line to get through. The wait for drinks are usually no longer than 10mins wait depending on how busy they are. I've had an experience where they made me the wrong drink which I've ordered, which they quickly made me a new one to replace the mistaken one. There are a few drinks which are my favourite on the menu and the couple times I've been there, the flavours are fairly consistent, I would definitely go back if I'm in the area. read more

I love coming to this CoCo location, because I received some coupons during their Grand Opening promo period. These coupons include free drink, % discounts, free up-size, and free toppings. Unfortunately, you cannot receive more coupons now, but the coupons are available to be used until June 30th if you can get your hands on some from friends. The quality of the drinks are within the standard of other Coco locations, and it takes around 5 minutes for your drink to arrive, so no complaints here. However, the place is pretty busy due to its Chinatown location, and they are lacking air conditioning, making it especially excruciating during the summer season for customers who want to sit for a little while and chat. Recently, they've finally installed the on-site bathroom after a month of its Grand Opening, but it's poorly maintained and usually lacked toilet paper. I would recommend people to just get the bubble tea for to-go and don't hang around the store for too long until they finally get the premise to be more comfortable to stay. read more

A month after their grand opening, their washroom finally no longer has a "Out of Service" sign. However, they require you to pick up a key (which may be hidden away so you have to ask for it). I like that the key is attached to a rice scooper though, +1 very unique. There are two washrooms downstairs, but only one key. They should have two keys. AC is still hit-or-miss. With the summer heat coming in, it gets pretty hot in the store even at night. You can see that they know there is a problem with it and leave the doors wide open. It seems like the AC had come on for a few minutes at some point, but then quickly disappeared. Napkins do not get refilled very frequently. Pearl milk tea is alright, though the tapiocas aren't as chewy as before. Good to see that they still offer the roasted milk tea even if the sign says limited time offer for May. read more

The staff are friendly, albeit a bit robotic in their voice after working for presumably long hours. The place could be cleaner though. For example, the tables aren't always cleaned or have garbage on them (sticky even at times...). Shame that not all the customers throw their trash away. Though, it is usually filled with people and quite busy when I go so it is understandable how that could be difficult to manage for the staff. They also seem to have some sort of promotion going on. However, those of you that are watching your sugar intake, sometimes the drinks are still sweetened to some degree. One time I noticed when I ordered a milk bubble tea and requested it 30% sweet, they used a sweetner instead. When I asked them about it there was some confusion which may be a result of a communication error. I got the strawberry bubble tea, cant' remember the name. First of all they got my order wrong (ordered the milk series and got black milk tea so I'm awake at 4 am writing this review).
