We are Koo-Koo for Coco!! One Saturday night while picking up our dinner order from Pho Metro we decided to grab some drinks for our meal. Coco was a few doors down so we decided to check it out. I've had Coco drinks before but the others in the group had not. Coco originated in Taiwan and now has locations in Canada since 2014. Coco is known for fresh tea, milk tea, fruit tea, yogurt drink, coffee and other beverage products. On this visit we got smoothies and I got a Peach Yogurt with Coconut Jelly. The team at Coco were so great with my kids who know a thing or two about bubble tea, but were at Coco for the first time. The staff took their time and helped the kids order the drinks they wanted ( with a low sugar content of course ). Our drinks were made quite quickly and we were all happy with the drinks we got. If you love this kind of drink, give Coco in the Berczy Village Plaza a try.

This CoCo is located in the Berczy Village Shopping Mall, which consists of several Chinese-oriented restaurants and bubble tea shops. I had a Sago Taro Milk Tea (large, $5.80) and it didn't disappoint. There were 3-4 staff members so service was fast even with a large group ahead of me. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with high ceilings. It is decorated with some paintings with mirrors on one side. During pandemic times, there is plexiglass around the staff area and all staff and customers wear face masks. There is space for indoor seating but is not available at this time. There is a hand sanitizer near the entrance. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There were separate male/female washrooms but were not available during pandemic times. There is plenty of parking since it is in a mall. Review 2021-085 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

A cute Coco location! This was a really nice location a little bit north of Markham. We got a few drinks to enjoy and they were made just right! The staff was kind and really efficient.

Came here at night a few days ago and honestly the cashier guy was so rude for no reason what so ever??! Like I love coco and have no issue with the drinks itself as it was good but when I went to order, I simply asked a question regarding a drink size and the cashier guy was like " what???" really loudly and was seemingly annoyed. A simple "pardon?" Or "what was that again?" wouldn't have hurt. I get it's busy but there is absolutely no reason to make the customers feel like it's their fault and be rude.

If you're in Markham, this is the Coco location I found the most success in. Staff are friendly patient and kind. This location has never failed me in their accuracy and consistency of their drinks. I always order through the app for a quick in and out.

My rating is 4.5 stars. I'm rounding up. As of late, I have been visiting a number of bubble tea places. Remember when bubble tea used to be that powered, sugary stuff diluted in water that you'd get? These days, bubble tea is more sophisticated. It has real tea, fruit juices, and extras that you can add besides tapioca. CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice showed up as a hot business on my Yelp app the other day. I decided to give it a try. I drive along Bur Oak at least once a week, so it's along my route. I haven't frequented the plaza on the southeast corner of Kennedy and Bur Oak in ages. I used to come here to eat at Pho Metro. Next to it was Smart Cook. I only went there once and thought that the food was okay. CoCo has taken over where Smart Cook was. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. The interior looks much better now. The interior is more cheerful with the new wood panels, tables and couches, Halloween decorations, and cute CoCo inflatable character in the corner. There were a number of patrons sipping and chatting when I walked in. A couple of folks were waiting for their drinks. I went up to the counter to place my order. Before I had walked in, there was a poster advertising a strawberry black tea drink. Sold! I ordered a large version of it, without any sugar and with little ice. The person helping me with my order asked if I wanted any extras. I asked whether they have more tapioca varieties. They just have regular tapioca. OneZo has raised my tapioca expectations so high that I had to remember that not every place has that much selection! I looked at the menu and noticed that you can add coconut jelly. Again, sold! It was an extra $0.50. I paid using my debit card. The place accepts credit and debit cards, and cash. Tap works perfectly. I waited for perhaps three minutes for my drink to be made. The person who had helped me out with my order asked if I needed a bag. Nope, I was good. He grabbed a large straw for me and wished me a happy day. I reciprocated. I got in my car and headed off. I normally take my time enjoying bubble tea. This strawberry black tea was so good that I finished it in twenty minutes. It was delightfully refreshing. I loved the real chunks of strawberry. The coconut jelly was incredibly good. It was slightly sweet, which worked well with my drink that did not have any sugar in it. The coconut jelly pieces are shaped like pineapple chunks. I had no problem working them through my straw. I normally don't crave going back to a store to get bubble tea. I do here. I may need to stop by tomorrow. (378)

Nice to see Coco opens up in the hood! Plenty of parking as this plaza never too busy. Interior is spacious and can get quite busy after the students get off class in the afternoon. Staff at cash still a little slow in taking orders but at least they are friendly and trying. Drinks are standard as most other Coco I have been to. I love their different promotion every month as it gives me incentive to try out other items in their menu. This maybe my to go place for a bbt treat when I am in the area.

The store is very spacious. But it can get very loud when it is crowded and the wait time could be long. Their tea is relatively cheaper and they frequently have promotions, that may be why the store is always busy; hence longer wait times. At times, there would be no seats. The bathroom is filthy and smelly. The service is mediocre. The staff are neither friendly nor pleasant. As you can tell from the photos, we ordered the Kiwi YoYo drink and it looks so different from the poster. We would consider the advertising completely misleading. Update: Thanks for Coco's management's response. My comment about the poster vs. the actual drink is not so much about the colour. On the poster, you have fresh kiwi slices, and obviously the actual drink does not.

Order 5 bubble tea, the staff was helpful and made good recommendations. We went in a Saturday afternoon, there was a few people there but service was fairly quick, covid protocols are in placed and followed.

One of the better Coco locations where their milk tea isn't watered down and they give reasonable portions for the toppings. We love their QQ milk tea as their QQ toppings are made with real taro and you can taste bits of actual taro in the QQ. Their brown sugar is also really good where the pearls are nice and chewy and the brown sugar flavour is very rich. We would suggest getting their brown sugar at 30% sugar to avoid the drink from being too sweet.

This Branch of Coco Milk Tea sits in the plaza right next to Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School. Comparing to other Coco's locations, the line-up here is usually much shorter, except for noon and around 3 pm on weekdays which high school students arrive in groups, making the place crowded and chaotic. The store contains 7 tables, accommodates up to 30 people. If you want to seat down and relax with your friend but is tired of Tim Hortons, Coco would be a decent alternative. The range of drinks here varies from milk tea, fresh tea to smoothies. You can easily become a member at Coco by input your phone number to the iPad at the counter when ordering, therefore you receive 1 point for each drink you purchased: For every 10 points, you are able to redeem a drink for free; If you save up to 100 drinks, you would receive VIP status at coco, which grants you a 50 cent discount for every drink from then on. The star product here, Coco milk tea, is actually made of milk powder, therefore, if a mixture of real milk and tea is what you are desired, you should order the fresh milk series. Coco has 1 to 2 special/promotion drink monthly, and I found it to be a really good marketing strategy in terms of attracting high schoolers. For this time, I have bought the monthly special, brown sugar pearl latte, which consists of brown sugar tapioca and milk. The drink tastes very smooth but is kind of too sweet. Overall, this Coco milk tea is one of my favourite tea shops in Markham.

Located in the Domino's/Sleemon plaza at Kennedy & Hwy 7. I came to try this place after attending a yelp event nearby with my gf and friend. The cashier was very helpful and knowing that it was our first time at the store, quickly rattled off a couple of suggestions and recommendations to us. My friend and I settled on Li Bai imperial lychee green tea and marc chagall mango summer fruit tea. The names of the drinks are super extravagant and pretty goofy tbh. We googled most of the names and found that the drinks have actually been named after renowned world figures which is kinda quirky and cool I guess. Also the fruit teas all come in 1L size cups. Perfect once summer arrives. As for the quality of the tea, it was actually very good despite pineapple and mango not being in season, so I can only imagine that it will taste even better once the fruits are in season. My friends drink actually had chopped up lychee in it which was a nice touch. Price-wise they seem to be upper end. Like more than the Alley but less than Ten Rens. Would return!

I was craving my usual from Bourbon St. Grill and hit the food court. While heading downstairs after walking through mall entrance 3, I saw this Chicha San Chen store. I flagged it for a visit. After having a satisfying, casual meal at the food court, I returned to the second floor and walked over here to check out the drinks. It was almost as if this store knew that I like fruit and sparkling drinks. I saw a sign that said I could get two sparkling fruit drinks for $10. Three words: Sign me up! I got Kinson at the ordering area. He was great stepping me through everything. I let him know that this promotion interested me. He asked if I wanted one of each fruit flavour. Yes! My order consisted of the following: - Sparkling orange - Sparkling peach Each drink contains fruit, sparkling water, and konjac. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and I was done. He let me know that it wouldn't take long for my drinks to be made. The wait time wasn't much. The seating area had just cleared, so I could take photos of the branded throw pillows, various decorated bear figures holding tea cups in slings, and a wall celebrating a hundred years of tea love. It's my kind of tea joint. I stood next to looseleaf teas in mini containers. I smelled a number of them as I waited. They were so fragrant that I didn't want to leave! I love smelling these teas: - Cassia black - Dong ding oolong - Green - Black - Osmanthus oolong - High mountain pouchong My drinks came in one size. It seemed to be the case for all drinks on the menu. I like that you can customize your drink. There's a menu that steps you through it, from the type of tea that you want brewed, to the flavours and toppings that you want in it. If you find this method to be too complicated, it does have popular teas that are already configured, so you don't have to. I liked that I didn't have to fuss with my order. It was exactly what I wanted. My receipt had a number on it. Their system has an automated voice that calls out your order number. it was a nice change of pace. I could clearly hear my order number called out. I'm sure staff were happy to save their vocal cords, too. My drinks were on the counter. You can help yourself to a tray, which I did. My drinks looked good. What I should have done was sipped both before walking to my car. This place was so generous with the pour that my drinks were topped to the brim. One of my drinks did spill out a bit as I was about to go through the doors. Oops. I stopped to sip both of them. I was good! I got to my car and safely put my drinks down in my caddy. Just from sipping them, I loved the flavours so much. The orange one had slices of orange and chewy konjac. It was slightly sweet and fizzy. It was cheerful to drink. I had the orange slices, minus the peel, of course. Yum! The peach drink was equally as awesome. It was bubbly, with generous chunks of peach and konjac. It was fruity and chewy. So good! Both were so refreshing on a hot July evening. I'm glad that I got two drinks. I enjoyed my first two drinks from this tea place. I'll be back for more! (301)

It didn't cross my mind that Hana's Tea and Hana's Roulettea are owned by this woman until she explicitly made the connection for me. Well, I know now! It was nice that she recognized me. I was a regular customer getting macarons and a tea on Tuesdays in Richmond Hill for weeks last year. I brought the former into the office the following day. The latter was for my immediately consumption and happiness. There's lot of parking in this plaza. I have never had any issues finding a parking spot. I got these items at the Yelp experience: - Peachy peach tea - Yuzu macaron I like fizzy ade drinks. This place has them. I also like the fruit teas. I settled for the peachy peach tea. I got it with 30% sugar and regular ice. I didn't want yakult on top, but you can add it if that's your thing. I loved my peachy peach tea. It was cold and yummy with the popping peach boba. I loved the ripe peach taste. It hit the spot on a 34-degree Celsius day. I have been a fan of Hana's macarons since the beginning. The yuzu had a nice citrusy flavour. The macaron shells were crispy and chewy where they should be. It was nice to enjoy one again. The menus are similar at both locations. The chicken gyoza are on the menu. They are awesome! There were tables to sit down, and enjoy your food and drink, similar to the other location. This place feels more spacious and relaxed. I am thrilled that this location exists. As much as I love Hana's Tea in Richmond Hill, this location is so much closer to me. Last Tuesday, I returned to get six macarons: - Salted caramel - Royal milk tea - Mango I brought them to work to share. They were a hit. Staff were friendly the two times that I have dropped by. I'll be back for more. (280)

I appreciate their wintermelon options as not many bubble tea shops offer them. This is a cute shop. They have sections similar to a consignment or pop shops. You can buy jewellery, accessories, tea related items, handmade cookies, etc. While sipping on your bubble tea. Very creative and great way to support local. However, this space does take away some seating options. If you're looking to sip and tap, if the weather is nice out, I'd recommend taking your bubble tea to one of the 3 nearby parks within walking distance.

I was in the area and wanted a drink, so I decided to revisit YGO Lab. I think it's safe to say…read morethat I will not be coming back here unless I'm really desperate for a drink. I tried their Osmanthus Honey Americano and it was terrible. Knowing that there was honey in the drink, I asked for 0% sugar. The drink was incredibly sweet and I feel like I would get diabetes if I left the drink at 100% sugar. The osmanthus flavour and americano did not pair well together. I love flavoured americanos, but this has got to be the worst flavour combination that I've ever experienced. There were osmanthus flowers at the bottom of the drink - I was not a fan of the texture. I couldn't bring myself to finish the drink. There was only one staff working in the afternoon and they weren't busy, so they're a one-woman show (taking the drink order and then going to the back to make it). The wait wasn't long as the woman was efficient. I see other people giving good ratings and maybe it's because we're getting different drinks, but my experiences are vastly different than theirs. I generally don't go for fruit teas and my preference is milk teas and coffee-based drinks. This is not the place for those drinks and I'm sad that I wasted two drinks worth of money to experience less than mediocrity.
