I placed an online order. Got to the store to see a line up of students. They served ALL the students drinks before mine. It's been 25minutes and I'm still waiting. I go and ask them and I see my receipts stuck by the register meaning NO ONE is making my drinks. Then they had the audacity to say mobile orders need to wait. Do they not realize that the intent of this is so it's convenient. Coco--if you see my purchase records--you're definitely doing an amazing job losing me!!! We are Koo-Koo for Coco!! One Saturday night while picking up our dinner order from Pho Metro we decided to grab some drinks for our meal. Coco was a few doors down so we decided to check it out. I've had Coco drinks before but the others in the group had not. Coco originated in Taiwan and now has locations in Canada since 2014. Coco is known for fresh tea, milk tea, fruit tea, yogurt drink, coffee and other beverage products. On this visit we got smoothies and I got a Peach Yogurt with Coconut Jelly. The team at Coco were so great with my kids who know a thing or two about bubble tea, but were at Coco for the first time. The staff took their time and helped the kids order the drinks they wanted ( with a low sugar content of course ). Our drinks were made quite quickly and we were all happy with the drinks we got. If you love this kind of drink, give Coco in the Berczy Village Plaza a try. read more

This CoCo is located in the Berczy Village Shopping Mall, which consists of several Chinese-oriented restaurants and bubble tea shops. I had a Sago Taro Milk Tea (large, $5.80) and it didn't disappoint. There were 3-4 staff members so service was fast even with a large group ahead of me. The restaurant itself is quite spacious with high ceilings. It is decorated with some paintings with mirrors on one side. During pandemic times, there is plexiglass around the staff area and all staff and customers wear face masks. There is space for indoor seating but is not available at this time. There is a hand sanitizer near the entrance. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There were separate male/female washrooms but were not available during pandemic times. CoCo has become my fav bubble tea joint. This is the usual location my parents go to, as they say it's the most efficient service given distance from home. From my experiences here I generally agree with that. It's always been the most consistent in terms of taste, and except for one time it's been the location where I never had to wait after ordering thru the app, usually 5 minutes before arriving at the location. Came here at night a few days ago and honestly the cashier guy was so rude for no reason what so ever??! Like I love coco and have no issue with the drinks itself as it was good but when I went to order, I simply asked a question regarding a drink size and the cashier guy was like " what???" really loudly and was seemingly annoyed. A simple "pardon?" Or "what was that again?" wouldn't have hurt. I get it's busy but there is absolutely no reason to make the customers feel like it's their fault and be rude. read more

I wish I can give 0 stars! I went to the Coco Fresh Tea and Juice and placed an order a bit before noon today on January 29, 2025. The customer service (a lady - about 5'4 and in her middle age, body build above average weight, Mandarin speaking) was very rude and I asked for her name. She refused to give me her name. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she told me to speak with another lady at the store. Indeed, she, herself, who served me was the supervisor. As she refused to give me her name, I took a picture as I planned to email to the head office to file my complaint. She demanded that I delete the picture and she said it is her privacy to take a picture inside the store (which is opened to public and there are surveillance cameras in the store and we the customers are also being recorded?). I suggested she call the police. She did not call the police but she instructed the other worker not to give out my drinks until I deleted the picture (in her Mandarin and her behavior is very low). I don't speak Mandarin but I can understand a bit. I spoke to her in English and she responded to me in English all the time. She spoke in other languages when the customer does not speak that language (and it just so happens I can understand a little bit). I told her to refund me and she refused. She again advised the male worker not to give me the drinks until I deleted the picture. The other lady also told me to delete the picture and they both assured me to delete the picture permanently. They demanded to look into my phone. I felt that these two ladies tried to retain me in the store and my child is under 18 of age. I went to the York Region Police Station after that. The Police Officer confirmed that I can take the picture and they have no rights to demand that I delete the picture on my phone. The picture I took has been shared with Coco Fresh Tea and Juice head office. I also just tried to call the store to inquire when the owner or manager will be back. They hung up on me twice. ** In other Google review posts, there are pictures that were taken inside the store (and some other workers)! ** Lastly, I decided to dispose all the 4 drinks I got from this place. read more

My rating is 4.5 stars. I'm rounding up. As of late, I have been visiting a number of bubble tea places. Remember when bubble tea used to be that powered, sugary stuff diluted in water that you'd get? These days, bubble tea is more sophisticated. It has real tea, fruit juices, and extras that you can add besides tapioca. CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice showed up as a hot business on my Yelp app the other day. I decided to give it a try. I drive along Bur Oak at least once a week, so it's along my route. I haven't frequented the plaza on the southeast corner of Kennedy and Bur Oak in ages. I used to come here to eat at Pho Metro. Next to it was Smart Cook. I only went there once and thought that the food was okay. CoCo has taken over where Smart Cook was. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon. The interior looks much better now. The interior is more cheerful with the new wood panels, tables and couches, Halloween decorations, and cute CoCo inflatable character in the corner. There were a number of patrons sipping and chatting when I walked in. A couple of folks were waiting for their drinks. I went up to the counter to place my order. Before I had walked in, there was a poster advertising a strawberry black tea drink. Sold! I ordered a large version of it, without any sugar and with little ice. The person helping me with my order asked if I wanted any extras. I asked whether they have more tapioca varieties. They just have regular tapioca. OneZo has raised my tapioca expectations so high that I had to remember that not every place has that much selection! I looked at the menu and noticed that you can add coconut jelly. Again, sold! It was an extra $0.50. I paid using my debit card. The place accepts credit and debit cards, and cash. Tap works perfectly. I waited for perhaps three minutes for my drink to be made. The person who had helped me out with my order asked if I needed a bag. Nope, I was good. He grabbed a large straw for me and wished me a happy day. I reciprocated. I got in my car and headed off. I normally take my time enjoying bubble tea. This strawberry black tea was so good that I finished it in twenty minutes. It was delightfully refreshing. I loved the real chunks of strawberry. The coconut jelly was incredibly good. It was slightly sweet, which worked well with my drink that did not have any sugar in it. The coconut jelly pieces are shaped like pineapple chunks. I had no problem working them through my straw. I normally don't crave going back to a store to get bubble tea. I do here. I may need to stop by tomorrow. (378) read more

Nice to see Coco opens up in the hood! Plenty of parking as this plaza never too busy. Interior is spacious and can get quite busy after the students get off class in the afternoon. Staff at cash still a little slow in taking orders but at least they are friendly and trying. Drinks are standard as most other Coco I have been to. I love their different promotion every month as it gives me incentive to try out other items in their menu. This maybe my to go place for a bbt treat when I am in the area. read more

One of my favourite CoCo locations! Quality is consistent here and service is always good and speedy. I always get the pearl milk tea in either cold or hot (good for winter!). I also like the fact that they open relatively late for Markham standards (closes at 10pm while other shops in the same plaza close around 7pm to 8pm). I've been here a few times near closing and they usually still have a decent number of customers in store. Expect short line ups during prime time as there is a high school nearby but other than that I've never had to wait long. read more

The staff are really friendly and they're really good at expediting their drink orders. Coco tea runs in my veins; I make an effort to go there once a week. Their slushes are great, and their yakult drinks are my favorite (I would recommend their lemon one if you are a fan of lemon like me). The store is very spacious. But it can get very loud when it is crowded and the wait time could be long. Their tea is relatively cheaper and they frequently have promotions, that may be why the store is always busy; hence longer wait times. At times, there would be no seats. The bathroom is filthy and smelly. The service is mediocre. The staff are neither friendly nor pleasant. As you can tell from the photos, we ordered the Kiwi YoYo drink and it looks so different from the poster. We would consider the advertising completely misleading. Update: Thanks for Coco's management's response. My comment about the poster vs. the actual drink is not so much about the colour. On the poster, you have fresh kiwi slices, and obviously the actual drink does not. read more

One of the better Coco locations where their milk tea isn't watered down and they give reasonable portions for the toppings. We love their QQ milk tea as their QQ toppings are made with real taro and you can taste bits of actual taro in the QQ. Their brown sugar is also really good where the pearls are nice and chewy and the brown sugar flavour is very rich. We would suggest getting their brown sugar at 30% sugar to avoid the drink from being too sweet. read more

This Branch of Coco Milk Tea sits in the plaza right next to Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School. Comparing to other Coco's locations, the line-up here is usually much shorter, except for noon and around 3 pm on weekdays which high school students arrive in groups, making the place crowded and chaotic. The store contains 7 tables, accommodates up to 30 people. If you want to seat down and relax with your friend but is tired of Tim Hortons, Coco would be a decent alternative. The range of drinks here varies from milk tea, fresh tea to smoothies. You can easily become a member at Coco by input your phone number to the iPad at the counter when ordering, therefore you receive 1 point for each drink you purchased: For every 10 points, you are able to redeem a drink for free; If you save up to 100 drinks, you would receive VIP status at coco, which grants you a 50 cent discount for every drink from then on. The star product here, Coco milk tea, is actually made of milk powder, therefore, if a mixture of real milk and tea is what you are desired, you should order the fresh milk series. Coco has 1 to 2 special/promotion drink monthly, and I found it to be a really good marketing strategy in terms of attracting high schoolers. For this time, I have bought the monthly special, brown sugar pearl latte, which consists of brown sugar tapioca and milk. The drink tastes very smooth but is kind of too sweet. Overall, this Coco milk tea is one of my favourite tea shops in Markham. read more

Stumbled upon another CoCo location. We were heading towards the other bubble tea shop in this plaza but couldn't stop ourselves from going here. It is their soft opening, so I'm not actually sure when this place opened. I love CoCo's drinks because you can ask for no ice but the drinks are still chilled. I don't really like ice cubes diluting my drinks. They also use real fruits in some of their drinks. My favourite being Grapefruit Green Tea that has red grapefruit in it. This store does not accept Vicinity cards, it uses fivestar rewards. You just punch in your telephone number and your drink points are added automatically. No need for a reward card, much better. Can see myself coming here every Tuesday, while waiting for my kids to finish Chinese school. read more

Just an ok Coco, the seating and decor is nice....but I come here mainly for the drinks and I generally get take out...I haven't sat in before as there are so many high school students so it gets very loud most of the time. They have a limited time special with the fresh taro with milk and/or milk tea, I usually get it with no sugar and no ice so it works for me..The thing I think there is room for improvement is really the service and quantity of the taro...there didn't seem to be a standard the first few times I went, sometimes there was alot of taro and sometimes there was not that much until I asked. They told me it should be filled to the letter "B" for a large fresh taro which is really not that much to be honest...to add extra taro it costs $1 extra which brings the drink to $7.70 (a bit pricey for what it is) The extra taro goes to line "D" of the tall plastic cup which is too much taro. The perfect amount of taro for me would be to the letter "C" for a large so I would have to pay extra but get less, its difficult to satisfy everyone... When I go to the other Coco at New Kennedy Square, they are much more generous in the taro, they would give m up to "C" for $0.50 more instead of the $1 which I believe is a fair value... CoCo's is one of my FAVOURITE bubble tea franchises and I was super excited this new location opened close to home. As with any franchise, the bubble tea remains very consistent and continues to please at any location. What I love about CoCo's is its authenticity to the true tea flavours. I'm a person who enjoys to get no sugar in any of my bubble tea drinks - a true testament to how genuine the drink is. You can really taste the tea flavour with any milk or fruit tea. As well, CoCo's offers my absolute go-to topping: sago, which is an asian rendition of the tapioca pearl - one that is clear and 10x smaller than the standard pearl. It is the only chain that offers this topping which incentives me to go to CoCo's more so than other bubble tea places. My absolute favourites are.. 1) Mango Sago Green Tea 2) Matcha Milk Tea 3) Sago Milk Tea 4) A specialty they have is the passion fruit juice with additional passion fruit seeds that you can crunch on. It tastes a little bitter in my opinion but is still a unique option! All with no sugar and tapioca. Their tapioca feels relatively smaller but is still very chewy and cooked/sweetened properly! Make sure not to run into this story during school hours such as lunch and after school as there is a high school right next door. The Facebook advertisements state "Our new store with our new image!"and there are definitely some very cute decorations placed around. Stop by as the plaza is rather small however, parking is super easy to find! read more

one of my favourite bubble tea joints and glad it opened so close to me ! the store is much larger compared to other cocos I've been to with a lot of seats available and a spacious area. the store is brightly lit and has a very nice aesthetic inside ! even though it had just opened it wasn't too packed when I went inside. they have a grand opening deal right now until around October 14th a $4 matcha red bean milk tea large or grape fruit green tea L. I decided to give the matcha red bean milk tea a try and I haven't gotten it at cocos before and my friend got the grapefruit green tea. the line was very short and I got my drink quickly. even with 70% sugar which is what I usually get for this drink at other places. it was still really sweet for me so next time I would get 50 %. the matcha taste was good and it was a great deal ! But I don't think I would get it again and I will stick to my usuals: the bubble gaga and pearl milk tea 3/5 the grapefruit green tea is real grapefruit as for some fruit drinks they use real fruits. my friend didn't know that and didn't like it as much but just a heads up to others. the service was decent but nothing outstanding. overall I would tell everyone to come quickly for the deals on the drinks. a con would be that the wifi didn't really work as it was only available for google linked accounts. anyways I would definitely come to cocos again ! read more

Great place! I'm very glad they opened so nearby! Customer service was great, and I love the way they greet you when you come in! I also love the amazing promotions, such as the $3.99 +tax Roasted Milk Tea. I honestly would love them to keep up with those discounts because I love it. New promotional drinks are very frequent and I can't wait for more. One suggestion is, they should add more tea into the drinks. I see them add quite a lot of water and powder (yikes), so I'd seriously like more of a tea tasting drink rather than a powdery one. Good location, will come again. read more

I have a usual go to tea place but because it was late decided to drive to Kennedy and Hwy 7 in Markham. It was a little busy as it was the only one within the area that was open. It was a standard bubble tea place. Nothing to write home about. I've been to other places that offer a more extensive menu. The staff was also meh, but I have low expectations because people are forced to work wearing face masks that can be uncomfortable. I guess you can say that Coco Tea in Markham was ok but I loved that they were open late. read more

I love cocos bubble tea my usual is the bubble gaga. I'm glad they open another location in Markham because it's much more convenient.

I used to get their red bean matcha milk tea all the time but honestly, it's just average. Not bad but not authentic matcha powder good, just a quick fix for a craving. Tried their berry sparkle (January promo) and was a little disappointed - from the Instagram comments, I expected more fizz, and while their description said it was made with real strawberries and cranberries, it tasted like it was made with strawberry jam? Way too sweet. Don't get me wrong though, they get 3 stars and not 2 because there are some good drinks. Their roasted milk tea tastes just like Chatime's (before all Chatime locations got cheap and started watering theirs down). Their passionfruit tea is better too. Their tapioca is nice and chewy and perfectly sweetened. For the price, they're a better deal than The Alley in the same plaza. Last but not least, try their grapefruit yakult! It's so good... I know it's $6 but have it as a treat once in awhile, it's totally worth it! read more
