Their crepe with whipped cream, strawberries and bananas for $5.75 with coffee included is an unbeatable deal. Plus, a whole bunch of other drinks on the menu. Count me as a fan!

I am so surprised my favourite bbt place doesn't have a yelp place, so I made one :) I have been coming to this place for over a decade and they are hands down the best when it comes to any FRUITY bbt. (You belong in chatime/gong cha etc if you are going for the roasted grass jelly milk teas) They have a huge variety of flavours and some are very unique. My personal go to is their white peach green tea. The "tea" part is virtually nonexistent, which makes it taste just like those canned Japanese peach juices you find everywhere in Asia or overpriced at T&T. I was super impressed when they first introduced the white peach (not to be confused with regular peach) flavour, since this is the only place that has something so close to the real thing you find in Asia. They also have a variety of jellies to add to your bbt. Crepes are nice as well, but nothing out of the usual. A small bbt is just $2.5, what more can you ask for? :)

I go here for the Mango Slush! Super cheap compared to a lot of bubble tea places these days and the drinks are amazing!

Heytea - Kale Boost Tea

Since it was my first time using the app, I also received a few coupons, including 25% off a single drink. KALE BOOST TEA - 9.99 + normal ice + light sugar + jasmine green tea + with chia seed I was hesitant to order this drink because paying for a vegetable-based tea sounded questionable, but my cousin insisted it was refreshing. Surprisingly, there was none of the bitterness I expected from kale, and it paired really well with the jasmine green tea. I loved the chia seeds topping, and hopefully it will help with my bowel movements after all the heavy foods I've been eating this past week. My cousin ordered the limited tiramisu milk tea, which HEYTEA is currently offering in collaboration with Pop Mart. We expected it to be fun, but it ended up being fun AND genuinely good. The coffee notes blended nicely with the milk tea, and it wasn't overly sweet or heavy. Overall, this was a solid stop, and I'm glad I got to enjoy something light and refreshing after stuffing myself with dim sum nearby.

My meat-eating boyfriend and I dropped by for lunch on a weekday. The staff told us they just…read morereopened after a period of renovations. The interior has been spruced up. It's bright, airy, and modern. We ordered 3 dishes to share: cauliflower wings, broccoli Mac n cheese, and the seitan chick'n sandwich. We also got 2 kombuchas and with tax and tip, the order came to $60. The food was yummy. I can't say it's the best vegan place I have ever been to, but it's definitely quite tasty. My favourite was the cauliflower wings followed by the seitan chick'n sandwich. I'm not crazy about nutritional yeast, so I didn't love the Mac n cheese. Overall, the menu has many options to choose from, which is a big plus in my opinion. Would recommend to both vegan and non-vegan eaters to try :)

3.5 Stars I'm torn…read more I really want to jump on the bandwagon and say that the smoothies here are out of this world, but I can't. Yes, this was refreshing after a day of hiking the falls of Hamilton. Yes, it was very healthy. Yes, service was amazingly friendly and cheerful. Yes, the atmosphere was relaxing and trendy. No, the smoothies were not amazing. Don't get me wrong, they were good, but they didn't exactly taste like what they were supposed to taste like. I think they just need to reformulate the amounts of the ingredients that go into the smoothies. All of their smoothies have a spinach and kale base. I ordered the Sobi-Smoothie "Strawberries and Cream", which had strawberries, bananas, coconut milk, almonds, and cranberries. My cousin ordered the Mumbai Mango, which had mangoes, bananas, and coconut milk. Our other cousin ordered the Chocolate Cherry. While I enjoyed tasting all the smoothies, I felt that they mostly tasted the same; the only smoothie where I could taste all the flavors was the Chocolate Cherry. The use of coconut milk in the other two smoothies was extremely heavy-handed because that was the dominant flavor in both of them. You couldn't even taste the bananas, which are usually a very strong flavor profile. It felt like we were mostly drinking the coconut milk smoothies with a hint of strawberries or a hint of mangoes, not the other way around. That said, you definitely feel good about yourself when you eat here because you know exactly what you're putting into your body. The GSB has a menu of foods, smoothies, and snacks that are all 100% organic and vegan; they are also an extremely green business (no pun intended) and compost all their waste -- even their cups, straws, and food containers are compost friendly. All in all, I'd check this place out again if I ever go back to Hamilton; I'd probably ask for less coconut milk though.
