The last time I had CoCo was almost four years ago in New York City and I missed it so much! I loved the Lemon King (it was called Lemon Dunk then) and I craved it for these four years. Thank god there's a CoCo in Toronto and I had my Lemon King again (less ice, 30% sugar). It was as good as I remembered. Despite being located off of Yonge street, along Finch Ave. W, I was surprised to see crowds inside the store on a weekday evening, and all the tables were filled! I found that the original milk tea was a little light or mild in flavour (I had half sugar, half ice), while it was still quite yummy. They carry various types of tea macchiatos with their homemade milky mousse melting on top of their signature tea! Btw, all pudding lovers should try adding pudding to your favorite tea. Love their pudding! Very soft and creamy and goes well with all kinds of milk tea! Their tea tends towards the sweet side. Hence the name, it contains 3 toppings: grass jelly, pudding amd tapioca. The milk tea was very creamy and the tapiocas were soft yet tender. I 'like' the drink however, I can't say that I LOVE it. I prefer my milk teas with a roasted tea flavour if you know what I mean. But! I did LOVE the pudding out of the other 2 toppings. Very creamy as well and not too sweet. Next, I tried the Bubble GaGa with less ice and 50% sugar. It was passionfruit tea with tapioca and lychee jelly. The first sip had my heart. The taste reminded me of gummy bears!
