This bubble tea shop is near finch station but sort of hidden. I like coming here as it is the closest bubble tea shop from the station. I really like the quirkiness of their bubbletea shop. A lot of their drinks have interesting and creative names. Their servers are very nice and helped me choose a drink as I had never tried their fresh drinks before. So far I have tried the Lemon King drink, which is one of their top drinks. It's very refreshing. If I have to list my tea shops (that are franchise) in order, I'd probably say that Coco's has been bumped to first place, then chatime, Ten Ren, share tea, and so forth. I think it also depends on the time you go in to grab a drink because I went after lunch time. My favourite drink is 3 Guys which is milk tea with grass jelly, pudding and tapioca. You have the option of choosing how much sugar and ice you want in your drink which is great if you prefer little to no sugar. I personally prefer Coco's bbt over Chatime because the flavours are more rich and the quality seems better. I learned that Coco brings in all their ingredients from Taiwan to ensure the best quality and consistency in all their franchise locations. It would be great if they open up a store in Woodbridge, that way I don't have to drive all the way to North York to get my bbt fix! read more

When I entered the door, I saw a trash can full of trash and a lot tissue around it. There were 4 staffs but no one would clean it. I ordered 3 drinks, I assume they will taste like what I had in other Coco. Why I assume? Because when I looked at how they made the drinks, I felt discussing. The staff washed rags on the same sink they used to wash shakers. I saw she washed a rag and some shakers were just under faucet. However, she only rinsed the shaker by water and used it to make next tea....when my girlfriend was trying to take a picture of this, we heard the staff asked the other staff in Chinese "Are customers allowed to take pictures in store?" This specific Cocotea location is just amazing. The service is quick, the drinks are tasty and cheap, and theres always a place to sit. You could inside of the store, or outside if you want to smell some roses. I normally get the 2 Ladies drink, which is milk tea with pudding and tapicoa. Trust me, if you're stumped and not sure what to get, get the 2 Ladies! The only downside would be that the wifi doesn't work. There was quite some space inside with tables, as well as high chairs for sitting along the wall. I've had two drinks from here. The passion fruit green tea as well as the lemon king. First time I saw the lemon king on the menu, I hadn't realized there was a whole lemon in the picture. You could imagine my surprise when I saw the lemon inside the drink. It makes quite hard to drink especially near the end, but it still tastes good. Great drinks, poor service. The people working here are painfully slow and the store seems to always have their lights off in the back of the store. There are multiple times where I get my drink at 30% sweet and it ends up being regular sweet... or they don't give me my straw! Eating/drinking is always about the experience and not just the actual product. Always weary when I come to this location, or when I call ahead to make an order. They have charged me and given me my drinks over the cash register counter multiple times and not included the straw. It is the most tastiest Black Milk Tea and Matcha Milk Tea (highly recommend) i have ever tried. Their Tapioca Peals are also better tasting and chewy than any other. I've heard that their milk tea is made with non dairy creamer which is beneficial for lactose intolerant individuals or vegans, but also the health conscious as it is lower in calories. My go to is a Regular matcha milk tea with 50% ice, 0% sugar and easy on the Tapioca Peals - sooo delicious. My brother in law who is more of a fruit based bubble tea drinker loves their Gaga drink, and Lemonade. This place is very similar to Chat Time, where grass jelly is on the menu and you can customize your drinks by choosing the amount of sugar and ice. I like that. They always have some sort of promo here so it could be a reason why. 30% off all yakult drinks is pretty hot deal. Additionally, when we asked the girl at the counter at 15mins in when our drink would be ready, she told us it was almost done but then we wait for another 25 mins and it's STILL NOT READY?!? Thanks for lying to us and everybody else... she literally just tells all of us to wait for the text. Complete waste of my time. Terrible service. With all the bubble tea chains popping up everywhere recently, Coco has quickly become my favourite. After lunch in the area, I had to open up my Yelp app to look up what after-meal bbt was in the area.. I was so happy to see Coco on the list! This location is quite convenient as there is a green P parking lot right beside it, as parking in the area can be a hassle. The store is a lot more spacious than the Commerce Gate one and the service was quick and efficient. (Apparently you can call-in and place an order so you don't have to wait!) Great bubble tea. I find their tea to be more flavourful than Chatime and most other BBT chains. Tapioca is also done very well. I've had the 2 guys and passionfruit green tea, both were excellent. The only downside is that the menu is more limited than the competitors, so you don't have as many options in terms of flavour combinations. There's a bit of seating in the place but it will fill up very quickly during peak hours. There's a pay parking lot right next door (you'll need to download the parking app to pay for your parking though) or you can try street parking on the side streets just across the place. Service is ok but they tend to be understaffed here from what I've seen, meaning that the lineups can sometimes build during their busier hours. read more

It was my first time visiting this establishment. I was at the Eglinton, MISSISSAUGA location. Great bubble tea! Servers are polite. Not a good idea to go if you don't have the app. You can be there and find no line up and think it's great as you'll be in and out... WRONG!!! Mobile orders are ahead of you. It's frustrating as you have already placed your order and paid! IF you were aware that there were 10 mobile orders ahead of you, there's a very good possibility that you would NOT have entered the establishment and placed an order.! One would think that they have workers who handle mobile orders and workers who assist customers that are physically there to order! In addition, the sign on the door reads "only 4 people allowed" but you had people coming in to pick up their order when the maximum number allowed was reached. Frustrating and disappointing! I honestly think Coco Tea's original milk tea is the best in Toronto. There's a lot of stiff competition within walking distance of here, and I've had drinks at all of them. However, Coco has this nice rich flavor in their milk tea that keeps me coming back. Their tapioca is a little hit-and-miss. I've had both fine tapioca and weird chewy tapioca that sticks together. Gross. Tapioca could be better and more consistent. WITH THAT SAID, THERE WAS ONE GIRL BEHIND THE COUNTER THAT WAS PRETTY RUDE. She served the Chinese-speaking customers nicely, but when it came to me, I spoke in English and she was yelling at me. Can't you just talk to me like a normal person? Why so impatient-- there was nobody else in line. So boo to you girl, you made me take a star off even though the drinks were good. That's what rude service does. Tried their Monthly Special: Fresh Taro with Milk Tea. I like that they have options to modify the amount of Ice and Sugar added to drinks. Unfortunately the cashier took my order wrong and made it "70% Sugar", instead of "Less Sugar"...didn't realize this until afterwards when we left. Overall the drink was good. They used real taro chunks which I prefer over powder (latter tastes faux...and this is the first place I have found to use real taro in taro BBT). The taro bits settled at the bottom of the drink, so you have to swirl it around to distribute the sweetness. Would recommend that they cut up the taro into smaller pieces so it would go up the straw easier - some chunks were the size of Chicklets gum! To avoid a choking hazard, you had to either: - mash up the taro with your straw, or - tear off the lid after you're done drinking to eat the taro I've also noticed that CoCo's cup is slimmer and taller in comparison to other BBT places...hopefully the vol amount is the same. The slim cup was easier to hold. Will be back to try their other drinks. read more

Have you ever wondered the difference between "less sugar" and "half sugar"? What a fine touch that CoCo has, to put up a sign to clarify: "half sugar" means 50% of regular sugar, and "less sugar" means 1/3 of regular sugar. The BB green tea tasted quite rich even without much sugar. I like Coco's drink better than Chattime's. Chattime's is syrup overload. The pricing was on par with other BB tea places, which in my opinion are all outrageous. The ambiance is eatery/cafeteria like. Green Grotto has better ambiance if decoration is your thing. read more

This place is really cool bubble tea place. Apparently it opened recently but already there is a steady stream of customers coming here. I had the toffee chocolate bubble tea and it was delicious. The service was quick and friendly and the place was clean and chic. One issue I had with the place was that their washrooms are not well lit. Although it was clean, it was quite dim inside that I was unable to fix my hair or makeup. Other than that I really liked this place. It's a really great place if you are meeting friends for afternoon tea or something like that. I would definitely recommend trying this place out. read more
