It's their prerogative to restrict dog owners from entering, of course, and completely understandable as a food business, but politely turning away customers with more than three words would be a wiser business practice. It's a pretty looking tea shop and I'm sure their tea is great. If you have a pup in tow though (no matter how small) you won't be able to pop in and order to go, FYI. Just head over to Chatime; they're chill with lil dogs.

I only came for tea and sweets though: Jasmine tea: I got this plain and it was very fragrant and soothing, as jasmine tea should be. It was also brewed perfectly as I did not taste any bitterness at all. Green tea kit Kat macaron: This comes frozen so make sure you let it defrost before eating. I was a bit let down by this as the cream was barely sweet so the matcha flavor couldn't shine through. I tasted a bit of bitterness that must have been from the matcha, but it definitely needed sugar. Weird because usually macarons have the opposite problem of being cloyingly sweet. Silvana (Quezo): My partner liked this so much that he went back the nect day to buy more. We didn'tk now what silvanas were, but it sounded yum and I'm glad we got it. Like the macaron, it came frozen so we had to wait until it defrosted to try. The cheese gave it a salty-sweet flavor (the best kind of flavor, if you ask me) and the texture was soft with a slight bread-chew, kind of like biting into a tempurpedic pillow instead of a regular down one. Either way, sweetness level and texture were just right. Come here for the silvanas and tea, avoid the macarons even though they look cute. I'm tempted to try the food too, so maybe next time I'll come for lunch!

For Jan 17-18, you get 20% these 4 flavours. On 2020-01-18, I was a Tru foodie, fighting a snowstorm, to try these drinks. Ok, the 20% discount helped! I bought 2) and 4). For the Strawberry, it was nice with real strawberries in the drink. For the Double Roasted Frosty, the taste was good but I recommend getting 50% sugar because it was quite sweet. They also offer catering. There is no free WiFi or washrooms. There are 7 stools, one round table and one counter. Most people would order for takeout.

This restaurant is a modern take on a tea shop. You might think of it as a bubble tea shop but it's…read moremain focus is on high quality tea (they choose the best tea leaves to use). They don't make all those fancy fusion type drinks with lots of sugar content. Their drinks tend to be light. The main difference is that their sugar level is not high so their 100% sugar level is equivalent to other places' 50% level. They do however have a few colourful drinks and also decorative cups for certain drinks. The owners of BOLD Food Hub created this tea shop and the flavours are China-Chic and Bold. There are 4 categories of drinks: - Tea Creme ($6.50 to $6.90): creme on top - Tea Lattte ($6.10 to $6.90) - Specialty ($6.50 to $7.50) - Fresh Milk ($6.50 to $7.50) There are some interesting flavours so I have to come back several times to try different ones. There is a large self-order kiosk to order the drinks. It accepts credit and debit. It is available in English and Chinese languages. We ordered the following: 1. Chestnut Mochi Tea Creme (large $7.50): little pieces of chestnut on top 2. Fortune Tea (Roselle) ($7.50): little chopped pieces of rose leaf on top 3. Lychee Tea Creme (medium $6.50) 4. Ovaltine Milk Tea (medium $6.50): has crushed ice and crunchy bits I love drinks with crushed ice so obviously I loved the Ovaltine Milk Tea. The Fortune Tea is made with Roselle tea and I also liked it. The other two drinks are pleasantly subtle. This restaurant is located inside a food hall called "BOLD Food Hub", which had a soft opening on 2022-01-13. There is a reasonably large seating area shared among the 3 restaurants in the food hall, used whenever indoor dining is allowed. There is also outdoor seating whenever the weather allows it. There is a wall mural beside the food stall.  They had a famous artist paint it. Included in the mural is a legendary Chinese Monkey King. During the pandemic, there is plexiglass at the food stall, hand sanitizers are available, and tables are 2 metres apart. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible but there is no door open button.  There is one gender-neutral washroom. There is street parking in the neighbourhood and an outdoor parking lot across the street. Review 2022-005 You can also find me on Instagram @chuan_chee. Thanks.

I tried my friend's lemon tea though, and honestly I liked that one much better. It had a more straightforward tea-and-lemon flavor that was refreshing and easy to drink. One thing I really liked was their square cup design. It's such a small detail, but it made the drinks stand out and looked really cute.

Since I was at a plaza with so many bubble tea joints that I can't keep track of them, I decided to select one that I haven't been to. It would be an easy feat. Moge Tee was a few doors down. Perfect! I walked in. I got the nicest welcome from a man behind the counter. I looked at the menu and the fresh peach oolong tea sounded great. He let me know that there are three types of peach oolong tea: - One has milk - One has cheese foam on top - One is the tea itself I wanted the last one. I went with 30% sugar because I wanted a change. I also went large. I didn't look at the menu long enough to choose toppings. I just wanted a drink. That's okay. Next time! I paid with a credit card. I also gave a tip because he was so great explaining the variants of this tea. With tax and without my tip, this drink came out to $8.42. It better be good! I looked at all the sticky notes on the wall. It reminded me of Cha Miao in Richmond Hill that has a similar setup. I will say that parking is more relaxed here. My drink was ready in no time. I was so happy. He gave me my drink and a straw. I thanked him and happily walked out of the store with my drink and dinner. I carefully placed everything in my car. I then drove home. The peach oolong tea was excellent. 30% sugar was barely noticeable. It was chilled. I loved the peach flavour that tasted like enjoying a ripe peach. I could taste the oolong tea. It was so good. The lychee coconut jelly was a fun textural addition, and I like the fact that you can customize the sugar and ice level, which made it easy to tailor the drink to your taste. We also tried the Lychee Ade. It had a nice flavour, but unfortunately, there was no option to adjust the sweetness, and it ended up being a bit too sugary for our liking.
