What a VIBE! I felt like I was in New York again! I can't compliment this place enough. Incredible food, service and atmosphere. It's a great experience every time, all the time. Don't waste another second and go.

The standout thought I left Tango Room with was this: I'm really glad my bff was in town to go with me, because this felt like the kind of place you dine if your partner is roughly 30 years your senior. My bff is 11 years older than me, and even that didn't scratch the surface of hitting the mark. The restaurant is undeniably classy and sophisticated, which is lovely but the crowd just didn't feel as fun or youthful as the spot we went to next. Service was great, and our food and drinks did not disappoint. I started with The Drapes cocktail. It was nice but it did leave me thinking I should've gone with a Blanton's neat. We joked that the drink leaned a little fruity for my taste, definitely more up my bff's alley. We had the deviled eggs to start, the caviar atop us a nice touch- yummy! I had a delicious seafood pasta with lobster, crab and shrimp. Loved every single bite. My bestie had a chicken dish. Portions were generous. Overall, it's a nice place, but I'd recommend it for an older crowd. It didn't feel very energetic to me and while a calm, quiet, slower pace can be nice, I tend to prefer a stronger buzz in the air. The Saturday night scene felt very "married/dating for money," which, as much as I may joke about needing a 96-year-old in finance with no living relatives, isn't exactly the dinner vibe I'm going for. The 60-year-olds with dolled-up 20- to 30-somethings on dates felt like a scene I didn't need with dinner. Great service, wonderful food. I'll be back if I land a date with someone pushing 70.

My husband and I had date night here and we loved it! All of the food was delicious and we plan to go back to try the rest of the menu. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and nice. I HIGHLY recommend for a night to impress a date.

I have been wanting to come here for a while, so my husband surprised me with a birthday dinner here. Everything was immaculate. Our waiter, Adam, made some great recommendations. We started off with the chicken and caviar - a delicious bite size piece of fried chicken topped with crème fraiche and black caviar - and the steak tartare tartine ( the flavors pair amazingly together) . We shared the cacio e pepe ( all their pastas are made in house and they already split it for you - it is delicious ). We shared the special which was a 22 oz. ribeye with roasted potatoes . Last but not least, dessert was a cheesecake made with a goat cheese . They also give you a card for your birthday - I always appreciate tiny gestures like that. Overall, so glad we finally made it in . Would absolutely come back . Perfect for a date night

The service was excellent, our The servers were extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable about the menu options. The supporting staff all greeted us and checked on us throughout our time at the restaurant. The food that we chose was really, really good. The Bolognese was a sweet, tangy, hearty pasta, but all the pastas are homemade daily and very good. I will recommend this restaurant.

I loved this dinner. Sexy. Moody. Dark in a way that says stay for another drink and I did. We started with the crudo (obviously). #stlouispescatarianapproved. Then a wedge salad, no bacon, because that's agents the rules. Scallops followed, perfectly plump. And just when I thought I was done, the tutti mare showed up and I had no choice but to participate. Zero regrets. This place knows exactly what it's doing. Let the overeating commence.

This review is from February 2025 There's a valet out front. But there's a lot of parking. It's easy to find if you are getting dropped off because it's in the parking lots to the right. It's a bit hidden, so look for the sign on the wall. This is a very intimate restaurant environment when you walk in. It is great for date nights and special occasions, and has that vibe. It was welcoming as soon as I entered, and getting our seats didn't take long. The staff is attentive, and the food comes out promptly, so you can enjoy every bite. The deviled eggs were so good, lobster corn dog as well, I mean everything was delicious But it's a hidden gem that you must try

Service and some dishes were AMAZING. Ambiance and some of the dishes I didn't love. We came for our anniversary and they gave us a complimentary glass of champagne which was very nice. We started with the tartare which was PERFECT. We also had the ribeye. When it came out, presentation was not great (and as you know you eat with your eyes first). It was cooked correctly but didn't have much flavor. We ended with the peanut butter dessert which was the most amazing dessert I've EVER had. I am still thinking about that dessert to this day. Our server was passionate and friendly. The decor, I didn't love. It was a bit TOO dark yet I could see plenty of stains on the furniture and the walls. We will be back but will probably sit at the bar and get extra tartar and that pb dessert :)

We took the teenage kids for my birthday, and had a wonderful time. It had a bit of a speakeasy vibe... They opened the curtain to let you into the seating area! The wait staff was amazing. The manager stopped by to check on the table. The food was delicious. It was our first time going. We typically have been sticking to Al Beirnat, Bob's, Dell Frisco's type steakhouses, but this will definitely be added to our list for special nights out.

I kept hearing the steak here is really good so I had high expectations. Went here for date night which was perfect because it's kind of speak easy vibes. They had a really great espresso martini and for the main course we had a special which was a 22oz cowboy ribeye with this garlic butter which was spectacular! Honestly it really is one of the best steaks I've had in Dallas and I've tried a lot of steaks. I can't wait to come back here again! I've been telling all my friends about it!

Peanut butter bar- it was a magical experience eating this

What an exquisite dining experience from start to finish. This place has been on the radar for quite some time and I'm glad that we were finally able to go to celebrate a special night. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were going to love this place. Our waiter, George, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu when we asked for recommendations. We ended up ordering the caviar chicken bites along with the lobster corndogs for starters and a couple of drinks. For our entrees, we ended up splitting the Denver steak with wild mushrooms and the pappardelle Bolognese. When I tell you that the steak was just absolute perfection, I mean it. I haven't had a steak that melt-in-your-mouth since an omakase experience in D.C. We of course ended the meal with the peanut butter bar, which again was another perfect bite of food. It was sweet, rich, creamy, salty, had peanuts for crunch and was just all around delicious. Probably one of my absolute favorite things about this place (other than the food and our lovely waiter, of course) was the fact that we did not feel rushed at all! I hate going to, especially upscale restaurants, where there's a huge line waiting out the door and the servers are all not so subtlety trying to kick you out. Here, we were able to enjoy our dinner at our own pace.

The lemon dessert.. classic!

This place is an absolute gem. I found it looking at the 10 best trendy places in Dallas. The ambience is somewhat mysterious with red leather booths each with a great view of the bar. As he come through the curtain, you see and beautiful dining room with soft music and the smell of great food. Wayne was our waiter. He went through the menu and the specials in a very detailed manner describing the smells and tastes of each dish. The food may not be unique, but the dishes are extremely unique, topped with caviar, king crab, perfectly cooked and presented. The cocktails were marvelous and the wine list expensive ranging from a few hundred dollars to several thousand. They even serve Dom by the glass! We had steak, Duck, pasta with caviar and king, crab, and luscious dessert. We had a beautiful bottle of Margaux to compliment it all Overall, it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back again.

This restaurant is tucked in the shadows of Carbone next door, but provides an intimate venue for an amazing meal with top notch service (the service is so friendly and helpful). A chef's table can seat in roughly 8 maybe 10 people in an oval bench seat that gives you visibility to the kitchen and the pass. If you listen carefully, you can even hear them fire your order and see it come from the kitchen to the table. The bar makes fantastic drinks (we did martini's) and they have a wine menu as well. For food - we've enjoyed the following: Apps: * Lobster Corn Dogs - say what?? Delicate lobster bits breaded and fried to perfection * Deviled Eggs - elevated and quite tasty as a starter * Chicken & Caviar - why not! NOTE: the menu changes a bit so all the starters are priced per so you can order as many or as few as you would like. * Wedge Salad - a solid salad with pork belly bits * Sunchoke Soup - very tasty soup if you can spare the stomach space for a bowl Mains: *28 Day Aged Kansas Strip - perfectly cooked bone in with great flavor and pre-sliced for ease. Several sauces are available as a supplement. I honestly just like it the way it's seasoned without any additional sauces. It has that unctuous nutty flavor that comes from a good dry-age. * Pork Chop - grilled bone-in and pre sliced - so tender. This was very good with the chasseur sauce. * Filet - perfectly grilled * King Crab pasta (special) - housemade pasta with chunks of king grab and a spoon of caviar * Fruits de Mer pasta (special) - housemade pasta with shrimp, fish, scallops - fantastic dish. This one should just be on the menu! Sides: * Brussel Sprouts - sweet with a tiny kick * Potato Wedges - thick wedges, dusted and fried - crisp on the outside with that soft interior * Wild Mushrooms - slightly on the salty side but nice with the steaks * Roasted Asparagus * Creamed Spinach - nicely done - and hey - it's good for you Desserts: * Carrot cake - very good * Peanut Butter Bar - This one is special. It is very good.

Fancy spot! You wouldn't mind if I review it, would you? Eating out in Dallas can get really…read moreexpensive, really quick. Often times after it's all said & done, you wonder - was that worth it? Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

However, my experience this past Saturday wasn't quite up to the usual standard. Although my server, Kate, did her best and was attentive in taking my order, the overall service seemed a bit off. The kitchen appeared to be short-staffed, yet there were plenty of servers standing around instead of helping out as a team. I believe teamwork is crucial in creating a smooth dining experience. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for my appetizer, I had to send back the gator bites because they were served cold. With a bill of over $230 before tip, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect prompt, hot food. I tried to be understanding--having worked in the service industry myself--but there's definitely room for improvement on the coordination between staff and the bar. To their credit, once the food did arrive, everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--exactly what keeps me coming back. One small disappointment was that, unlike with the table next to us, a manager never stopped by to apologize for the earlier issues at our table. Even with the hiccups, the food itself still deserves five stars. It's hard to give a place like Pappadeaux's anything less when the flavors are that good.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen…read more Friday afternoon lunch was not the best experience. I guess the professional server is a dinosaur theses days. Apparently, Pappadeaux's has had to pull from a a bad pool of applicants. While my server was friendly, she was either overwhelmed or just plain forgetful. I ate a few gator bites that arrived with bread service (which was completely out of order) before I asked for a container to transfer them to so they would not be soggy from the pool of sauce they were in. When she finally resurfaced, it was too late. I had already transferred them to the bread plate to save them. She did apologize. The shrimp & crab cobb salad is a standard for me and the last two times I have been disappointed. They changed it to a wedge of iceberg lettuce. The wedge used to be what appeared was a 1/4 head of lettuce. Now it looks like they have increased the yield and now get 8 wedges from a single head of lettuce. For a $30 salad of nutritionally dense iceberg, this is ridiculous! The wedge looked more like a slice of lettuce. The shrimp were cut in half, and there was an excessive amount of grape tomatoes. The toppings far outweighed the lettuce. If you're not going to cut the lettuce up, then do not cut my shrimp either! Very disappointed! After asking the server for the bill and to-go containers, she disappeared again. I thought it was shift change. I had to ask a manager who was taking a complaint from the table next to me. They too, were upset about the level of service from the same server. I let the manager know as well, "at these price points the service is not up to standard". She apologized but never asked for details. What kind of hospitality manager responds this way??? Now Im super pissed! I thought the FOH mgmt was subpar at Richardson (which is specifically why I drove further to Oak Lawn), but Oak Lawn has them too. I am done w/Pappadeaux's. It costs too much to have to experience this type of service and and clueless mgmt. There are burger joints with better service.
