    Another memorable dinner at 2320 East Osborne Street! Tandy's Cafe is the third restaurant iteration that we have dined at that location. Tandy's is similar to Binkley's because they serve memorable plates and outstanding experiences. The chef's chocolate skills are apparent in many items. The room is still very comfortable and welcoming. The service is attentive.

    A new favorite spot for us -- what started as a tip from a yoga instructor turned into three delicious visits in a row. For brunch you order at the counter and can choose indoor or outdoor seating; everything feels warm and cozy the moment you walk in. We tried breakfast first: my husband (a burrito aficionado) declared their breakfast burrito the best he's ever had -- and I, who'd never had one before, was converted. We also shared a brown-butter cookie that was dangerously good (wish I'd snapped a photo before we devoured it). Dinner the next weekend felt special -- quaint ambiance, wonderful staff, and friendly neighbors who clearly come often. We had corn queso, chicken and dumplings, trout amandine, mashed potatoes, roasted cauliflower, and a decadent dessert (maybe a banana split?) -- every dish was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Brunch on Valentine's weekend didn't disappoint either. My husband had the crab benedict and I had the smash burger -- two patties, perfectly cooked pink in the middle, juicy and topped with grilled onions and a killer sauce. On earlier visits I'd noticed lots of burgers coming out of the kitchen -- now I know why. We took a few pastries home and they were all fresh and scrumptious. Between the food, the friendly staff, and the cozy atmosphere, this place feels like a true neighborhood treasure. Can't wait to go back.

    So we never got to try binkleys, but this is the restaurant that replaced it. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that a majority of the staff, including the chef, we're all former employees at that restaurant, and to some degree carry on that legacy. It's such a cute, unassuming restaurant inside of a house. The menu is rather small, and upon asking further questions is likely to have some seasonal rotation, but also maintain some dishes as well. Our server was quite friendly and conversational. He gave us a rundown of the menu and offered some recommendations. We opted to start with the cacao bread. I would recommend if you down here try anything that has chocolate in it, as one of the chefs is a chocolatier. This bread is a fun take on savory meeting, sweet. The butter was outstanding. We then shared a Caesar salad. It was quite hanging with the cilantro, lime dressing, but nothing out of the ordinary. As for dinner, we shared the brussels sprouts, the meatloaf, and the chicken and dumplings as house favorites from our servers recommendations. The Meatloaf was delicious, and the mashed potatoes I came with it were phenomenal. I was obsessed with the brussels sprouts, and honestly think they would be a great starter. The chicken and dumplings were good. Very reminiscent of a chicken pot pie with the creamy savoriness of it. If you're looking for a dish by the book, that's traditional in that sense, that would probably be the one for you. For dessert we had the creme brûlée, and it was good, just like a traditional vanilla bean creme brûlée. I actually enjoyed the raspberry macaroon they topped it with a bit more than the creme brûlée itself, simply because I don't normally like macaroons so it surprised me. All in all, this is such a cute little restaurant for a date night. You could even do a special occasion as well. I think you get incredible bang for your buck as we only spent $173 before tip for all the food And two drinks each. I was definitely expecting it to be 200+. I especially loved that The chef came over to talk to us as it felt special to learn more about their story from one of the people who was there originally. I will definitely come back, and I'm very excited to see how the menu evolves and changes.

    The burger was delicious! It came with your choice of salad or fries. Service was decent, they checked on us every now and then. They were quite busy. Parking is limited and you might have to park on a nearby street. Cute and neat little home-style restaurant. Seatings utilized in every space with multiple rooms, indoor and outdoor. Semi-open kitchen.

    I'd been wanting to check out Tandy's ever since it opened in the space that once housed Binkley's and Larder and Delta (huge fan of both). It has a wonderful local feel--exactly the kind of neighborhood café Phoenix needs. Heads-up though: brunch is counter service, so it's first-come, first-served. When I called ahead to ask about wait times, they mentioned no reservations were needed but didn't explain the ordering format, so I was slightly caught off guard walking in. Once I figured it out though, the gentleman taking orders was fantastic, very personable, funny, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Parking took a lap or two around the block, but nothing too painful. We snagged a table for four without issue, though there was a small mix-up with one dish initially going to the wrong table. Now for the food: my pork shank with eggs was exceptional. Can you say TENDERNISM--beautifully flavored, the mole was delicious, and the eggs were cooked just right. Only minor critique...... A touch heavy on the pickled onions, but that's nitpicking. The Crab Benedict got mixed reviews at our table--one person thought it needed more flavor, another found it very dill-forward and a bit cold. Both loved the hollandaise consistency, though. The breakfast burrito was solid, but those breakfast potatoes, really good. The small menu shows they're focused on doing things well, which I appreciate. I do think switching to table service for brunch would elevate the everything to match the quality of what's coming out of the kitchen. All in all, I'm really glad Tandy's is here. Great service, genuine neighborhood vibes, and food worth coming back for. I'll definitely be returning, and I have a feeling this place is here to stay.

    My family and I had a beautiful dinner here last night at Tandy's. It's one of the most prettiest settings. We had been here prior it was a different restaurant. Tandy's preserves the natural beauty of it. The food was quite delicious and they have an excellent happy hour. My most favorite was the cacao bread and the trout. The burger was said to be rich and flavorful. Service was great and professional. They also specialize in chocolate making. I would love to try it next time!

    Ever since we had Brunch here, I wanted to come back to have dinner. We had our dinner at Tandy's last night. Honestly this is my favorite restaurant in the valley! The food is just out of this world! We ordered the cacao bread with cacao nibs - what a flavor bomb! Spinach salad with grilled oranges and spiced pecans was so tasty and refreshing! For the main course we tried Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, chicken and dumplings as well as trout Amandine on a bed of rice - everything was perfectly prepared, so flavorful! Then came the dessert - cherry pie was the flavor of the day and we just had to try the brownie - both were fabulous! Loved the strong espresso to finish our meal! Food presentation is gorgeous! Service here is amazing too - courteous, friendly but not overbearing. We also love that there is music playing in the background but not blasting - you can have a conversation without screaming in order to hear each other. The lighting is soft and muted but it's not cave dark - you can see the menu, each other and the food! If you are looking for a party central vibe - Tandy's is not for you BUT if you are looking to enjoy a classy meal with an exceptional service - you have to come to Tandy's!

    I will start by saying the food is good. The atmosphere is cute and quaint, staff very friendly and the outdoor seating can be great when it's not too hot outside. We had the beef baguette, ahi tuna melt with beef tallow fries and two sodas. I have no complaints with the food but there is a big disconnect in the prices. Our order cost us $58 for lunch, that borders on outrageous. The fries were a $4 up charge and the mixed greens were less than what you'd get at Noble up the road. I had to google Katz Reuben sandwich which is an experience and it was $28. So for perspective, these sandwiches are great but way overpriced. There would need to be something more to pay this amount. So for a tuna sandwich, fries and a soda you would be set back $31. Food is good but no lunch sando outside of New York should be this price.

    13 dollar acai bowl that online talks about topped with "mango, peach, blueberries, coconut". This is hardly a garnish worth of fruit.

    This is take out so the in-person experience very well could be completely different. We were super excited to try this place. Has great reviews online. When I showed up, they were extremely kind and had the order pretty much ready to go. Also had a really nice ambience so zero complaints on that end. But these PORTION SIZES for the price are absolutely diabolical. For 44 total dollars, we got two entrees and two drinks. The drinking chocolate was fantastic. But one of the worst acai bowls I have ever eaten. Literally finely diced fruit that doesn't match the description or price whatsoever. And the breakfast burrito had two halves smaller than the size of my palm. Their pastries looked really great so maybe we just chose the wrong things. But if this is how these entrees are presented in house as well, the staff needs to seriously reevaluate these specific menu choices. Probably won't be going back unfortunately :(

    We went to Tandy's for my wife and I anniversary after being suggested the spot from a previous chef from Binkley's. It did not disappoint, I loved that we sat next to the kitchen and got to see the goings on. The service was beyond amazing, my wife got the trout I got the pork shank. Chef Tandy stopped by and offered us some champagne and talked with us for a bit. If you're ever heading here no matter what event it's an amazing time and well worth the money, I can't rave about this place enough. PS get the brownie when you can!

Service was a mix of friendly and underwhelming. I enjoyed the vibe of this place but did notice there were a bit of flies outside. Would be interested in returning to try the cocktail menu.

    Such a great little neighborhood find! I had an amazing southwest salad with salmon and a delicious cinnamon roll. Can't wait to come back!

The Macintosh is described as a neighborhood restaurant that serves modern American and Southern cuisine. It was once called Grassroots Kitchen & Tap before it got rebranded. They have a diverse menu with a lot of different choices. Shrimp and Grits, Barbecued Beef Ribs, a Chicken Salad and Po Boy Sandwiches are some of the standouts. I settled on the Rotisserie Chicken which came with a side of onion rings. I'm a big pesto fan and loved the buttermilk pesto for dipping. I had a nice time and look forward to a return visit. In addition to happy hour, The Macintosh has brunch on the weekends.

Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!
