MaPo Fish with tofu - the sauce was delish and perfectly paired with that fish and silken tofu

Best Chinese food in town! Service and ambience was comforting and perfect for the weather. We had the MaPo Fish with tofu and the Firecracker chicken, both are paired with a portion of steamed rice. The portions are huge. Both the dishes were absolutely tasty. Cannot wait to try something new the next time we visit!

The firecracker chicken was excellent, as was the mushu beef and wonton soup! The crab rangoons were alright. Service was attentive and the restaurant was very clean.

just had dinner here tonight and it was fantastic Good service and even better food I definitely will be back

    Just I.

Tried for our first time while in the are, wanted to support a small business and this one had high reviews. I wanted to really like this spot but I just didn't. I called my order in before driving the shirt distance to pick up. Cashier was friendly. The inside is plain, could use something to make ot feel more inviting/comfortable/give some kind of ambiance but ultimately I care about the food more. I finally received my order and as I was walking towards the door something made me turn back to get a utensil, I'm glad I did because there was none included in my to go bag. We are in a hotel and would have been really disappointed to have to find something to eat with. I ordered sweet & sour chicken and wanted a side of fried rice, most places let you upgrade for a fee but this location does not. The dish was not very good. I can't point to exactly why I didn't like it, it was a decent portion size and large pieces but I just didn't like it very much. Also ordered crab ragoons. I'm not sure if there was misunderstanding, just rude, or language barrier but I got only cream cheese. Not sure if they have crab ones and messed my order up or only do cream cheese and she did not communicate that with me when I ordered. Either way, that was disappointing. Total after tax was just over $32

Good as always. Asked for extra crispy and they did just that. My go to Chinese restaurant!

The food was excellent. The service was prompt and there was quite to choose from on the menu. We got the xiao long bao, the firecracker chicken and the beef flat noodle stir fry. Very good

Xiao Long Bao 湯圓 Camera lens got steamy fast. So savory. The broth explodes in your mouth.

I have only been here twice. My daughter attends University of Idaho in Moscow and we ran across Tan's. Our second visit was as excellent as the first but this time I took pictures. The decor is simple but the food and service are excellent. The food is more savory and less sweet. You choose your drinks from a refrigerator. They have a fair selection. We will go back each visit I make. We may never get an appetizer other than the Xiao Long Bao because we love it so much.

It was quite bad unfortunately- I do not recommend this place. I couldn't eat any of it. Very friendly staff though

I'm gonna start off by saying that our waiter was really nice and friendly. They were honest about…read moretheir recommendations and very willing to help us out with any of our "hot pot" needs. The restaurant is nice and quiet which is so important to me because i love to run my mouth when im eating out. I got the vegetarian option, which I was grateful for because most of the times hot pot places aren't too accommodating for non meat eaters. Unfortunately my food was lacking a little in flavor. Could it have been that I got the veggie version and that sometimes flops in the flavor department? Or could it have been that I didn't select a spice level high enough? I'm not sure, but I'm willing to give it a second try's

In my Taiwanese hot pot I got a great variety of meat, fish and vegetables, much more than I expected for a great price. Service was timely, waitress was helpful, and it was a nice interior. My biggest critique is the fact that both hot pots I tried (veggie and taiwan) were not spicy in the slightest, like at all, when we got the maximum spice level. The waitress did tell us this would be the case and its clearly because of the white palates here but I was still disappointed by the fact that the hot pots didn't have the signature sichuan spice of malatangs. The numbing spiciness of chinese/taiwanese hot pot is something that sets apart this cuisine for me so that makes me sad. It satisfies my craving for now but what I really want from spicy hot pot is to see completely neon red broth.

I really enjoyed them and the sauce it came with was delicious! Decided to get two chicken dishes, pad Thai and Phad Se Ewe. I got the pad Thai at a level 2 and the phad de ewe level 3. The spice level 3 was perfect for me, a little kick but not too spicy. These portions were also huge and had plenty of left overs. Overall my favorite was the phad se ewe, I love the charred taste in the dish. The experience I had was a lot better than the last time I came and I noticed they played music this time which was great I definitely will be returning!

My favorites so far are their Massaman Curry with chicken, Yellow Curry Fried Rice with Pork, Phad See Ewe with chicken, and Pork Spring Rolls. The famous saying "Don't judge a book by its cover" applies with this restaurant. The exterior and interior looks outdated and worn down. It also lacks any ambiance because the decor is lacking and it is so quiet in there that it feels more like a library than a restaurant. However, this restaurant is a legit small family-owned and operated business and I appreciate the hard work they put in and I can tell they take pride in putting out delicious, quality food. So, don't judge this place by how it looks. If you're looking for a decent Thai restaurant, try Thai Ginger out. I look forward to dining here again the next time I'm in Pullman, Washington and trying more dishes.
