Came here for a quick bite after church on Sunday. I thought we'd be out of luck since this is a busy time of the day for restaurants in this area. Upon entering the restaurant I was shocked to see how dirty it was. The floors are not swept, food and trash under almost EVERY table. The tables are not wiped. I had to clean our area just to sit down. There are a total of 9 people (customers) in the restaurant so it is not busy, the employees should be cleaning this place. The manager has been walking around tending to complaints with slow service... there is nobody in here. And they also seem blind to the filth around the place. I won't bring my family here again. read more

Received an email regarding my issue. On that I'm very impressed. Will update when issue is resolved. Thank you Taco Cabana for the quick response. Issue was resolved to my satisfaction. Thanks to the customer service representative reaching out to me again. So with that being said, I will give customer service a 5 with cudos. And please forgive me for not remembering the reps name. She was awesome. read more

I want to take the time to say thank you so much for the amazing customer service that I received today I forgot to get the names of the gentlemen who assisted me today but I believe one was the manager and the other worked the window... the food was fresh and hot when I received it! Keep up the amazing work I definitely recommend this location for fast and fresh service and most definitely amazing customer service read more

The s-l-o-w-e-s-t drive through you'll experience. Once you're trapped within the concrete confines expect a minimum of a 25 minute wait and the likelihood your order is wrong is high. This is typical at lunch time and a major reason to pick anything else for lunch. Eating inside is probably faster than the drive through. Seriously wasted my ENTIRE lunch break just sitting in the drive through waiting to order then get my food. Forget this place read more

We came here and ordered at the drive-thru which took over 25 mins. We were pretty annoyed at how slow the service was because we might as well have gone inside and dined in. Another issue I have is that their refried beans have pork lard in them. So for anyone out there that doesn't eat pork, I would definitely steer clear of taco cabana because they aren't clear what items on their money do or don't have pork in them which is a HUGE red flag and their employees seem a bit uninformed. read more

I'll give 3 stars because the food is always decent, man this place really needs to get there stuff together. Every time I go it seems they're dealing with chaos. They seem to be very understaffed and it seem there are a lot of wandering staff that look lost. Twice I've gone in around 11:30 before the lunch rush and had to wait over 30 minutes for my to go order. Mind you both times the dining room was almost empty and there were maybe 2 guest ahead of me. read more

The restaurant was really clean and the woman at the cashier station was really nice and friendly with me which made me feel more comfortable in the environment, her name was Manuelita. The food was really good too but I enjoyed the hospitality more. read more

I eat at this location when it's late and nothing else is open. They are open 24/7. Service is sub par and the food is about the same. Something is always left out of the order from salsa to napkins. It's ok to fulfill your basic human need to eat but this place is nothing to brag about. The best thing they have are the breakfast tacos, which is the only reason for 3 stars. read more

This location used to have really long wait times. I think they have hired new staff, and now they are on top of their game. Quick and good food and the staff are nice. read more

I don't know why I keep coming here, service is terribly slow, can only say "sorry for the delay" so many times before it's meaningless. Looking at 10 empty tables and waited 20 for food. Oh and those 10 tables are filthy. read more

I appreciate the young lady that waited on me her name was Ana. She was so passionate about making sure that we had everything we needed. I appreciate her. read more

Beki is exceptional! She is a hard worker and makes sure everything is going great. She checked up on us and went out of her way to make sure we are good. Food was amazing as well and if it is your first time definitely go for a fajita platter. It's so good! Thanks Becki! read more

Worst taco cabana. Very cheap when it comes to adding materials to their items. Ordered a bean and cheese taco it barely had any beans and cheese inside. Same with fajita nachos. They barely add aby cheese. Same with rest of the items. Please, don't go to this taco cabana unless you wanna waste money. Thanks. read more

This place is ass literal ass like the people here are rude even though it's their fault that they fucked my order up twice and then wouldn't give me my drinks, I literally had to sit in the drive-thru after I got my food to wait on them to open the door back up and give us our drinks don't go here! read more

Worst experience I have had at this chain. Nothing about my order was correct, and things that I ordered and was charged extra for were not provided (pico de Gallo, sour cream). Food tasted like it had been sitting for a while and just was all around unpleasant. read more

I see why this place has only a 2 star rating. I don't know if the girl at the drive through was new or just a lame brain. I order enchiladas, she had to ask me twice what else I wanted, I said sour cream and guacamole on the side. No one was ahead or behind me, but she was confused. I pay and she hands me my food. I drive back to my hotel...no fork, knife or spoon to eat the enchiladas, rice and beans. NICE! In the trash it went. I don't reccommend going here. read more

I love me some Taco Cabana.. But this is the worst location I have ever been to. They are severely understaffed. The place is filthy and the service is appallingly slow. I received my plate after a 40 minute wait and it came without the guacamole but I didn't have the time to complain. As I was finishing my meal, an employee came and took my plate (wow...service!) but then wiped my table, while I was still occupying it, with a wet rag. There were several unoccupied tables she could have been wiping. Anyway I'll be surprised if I don't get sick from my lunch here, considering the state of this place. I'll never come here again. read more

Not recommended. Most every staff member I've ever dealt with here has been incompetent. I have given this place several chances over a period of months and not once have they ever succeeded in *not* messing up my order. Service can also be extremely slow even for straightforward orders, especially after working hours at the nearby Cypress Waters complex. read more

My wife and I were on our way to the grocery store and decided to stop here for lunch. We ordered a brisket burrito and chicken fajita burrito. WE love Mexican style food and rarely find it bad. In our opinion, this was real bad. The problem? The overpowering salt! In the rice (yellow colored) and the beans. Very, very, very salty. Horrible! I use salt on my food all the time, but hey, this was worse than gargling sea water. Somebody isn't measuring things. Then there's this: I went to the salsa bar to get jalapenos. I get back to the table and pop one in my mouth. Salty!!! What the heck? People can always add salt. Put too much in the product and it can't be taken back. Waited more than 10 minutes for our food to be brought out. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon, so not busy at all. Also, is it too much these days to train employees to smile and be polite? I hope other locations and their food are not this bad. Unfortunately, I don't want to risk another $20 to find out. Never again. Ever. There is a lot of competition out there in the restaurant business. Fast and friendly service with properly made food is a way to stand out these days. I don't think this franchisee really cares. I live in Irving. This place is terrible. All of this is my opinion. We spend about $600 a month eating out. None of that money will be going here. I've read over reviews going back about 3 years for this place. Not much good has been said. read more

First time here for lunch at work. Incredibly dirty, tortillas all over the floor, cobwebs in the corner of the wall by the menu where the paint is coming off. Slllllooowwwww, almost late back to work. My order was incorrect but didn't have time to correct it. Ended up paying $6 for 4 pieces of steak between two tortillas (2 steak tortillas) instead of the soft tacos I wanted. DON'T GO HERE. Livid pissed right now. read more

This location is horrendous! My beef enchiladas were horrible with watery chili. The normally excellent salsa ranch was watery as well and much hotter than normal. The salsa bar was nasty. Felt like the staff hated being there. Won't be back!! read more

We have ordered delivery twice both times they got it wrong both times, our average order is $60, we called them and they were not helpful they wouldn't make it right, we will not be eating with them anymore read more

I went in here to get some breakfast tacos for my team, I waited over 20 minutes and no tacos. I went to the counter to find out what the problem was and I was told that they were working on it. I got no apology or anything. I ended up getting my money back and left with no tacos. It was a complete waste of time. read more

Every time I come here, the food and the staff are great. Restaurant is always kept clean. Keep it up :)

I am sitting in the drive thru at the window for the past 15 minutes watching them put my order together. They are slow as hell!!

Was here yesterday for breakfast. The butter packets they gave me contained runny, melted, rancid butter. Disgusting. I went online to complain to the City of Irving Health Department... turns out their last inspection in February 2012 was a "D" - "Failing" ! I hate to say it, but I won't be buying any more food from this place again. read more

I'm surprised with how slow the service is here. We visited this location around 10 pm and still waited close to 30 min for our food. There were only 2 other tables that were in the restaurant. After finally getting the food, the beef was burnt and not edible. read more

I love the chicken or steak fajita tacos. Every time I visit the service is fast and the staff is friendly. The tacos are always stuffed to over flowing and the prices are lower than other places. They did forget cheese on my breakfast tacos once but I order without eggs. I'm resigned to the fact that 30% of the time no matter where I am they will mess up the order slightly. It's the no egg that throws them. This is a great place to eat. The food is always fresh and the service is always good. The Salsa Bar rocks! read more

The meat, both chicken and beef, were charred so hard that they crunched and were 100% burned. My dogs liked it. The lettuce was also crunchy as it was so frozen it could be used as ice cubes. The two car in font of me drove off without their order, now I know why. An ass clown could do better read more

Nobody would answer the microphone when we pulled up and took at least five minutes for someone to come to the window. Rude staff

Will never return! The employee LaDarrius took my order, and forgot to give me all my change while saying it was a long day, I totally understood. Anyways, I let it go and patiently waited for my food as I watch the same employee dance, while the cook dances with him. Continue waiting, and the same employee gets my guacamole and sour cream ready (without gloves) only for the sour cream to fall right onto the counter and he continues to use that container, on top of that he just handled my cash previously! GROSS! I guess that's the norm at taco cabana. Anyways, I would've done the survey but I didn't receive the correct receipt with the receipt number so yelp it is! read more

Farley cheap place for sort of fresh fast taco joint. Our first time and well it was an experience. Cashier was ready leave. Screwed up orders. Gave us free drinks just to leave. Left customer waiting. Lol. Order 3 entries. The tortilla is different from most taco place. You can tell it's made fresh n is a little thicker than most I had. Love the fresh ingredient bar. Workers seems unorganized and place dirty. read more

Should have read the reviews before I came here. The worst Taco Cabana I've ever been to. The stuff at the salsa bar was either out or looked like it had been there all day. Place was dirty and everyone is running around chaotically even though there were only a few people in there on a Wed evening. Everyone was complaining about either getting the wrong order or waiting too long. After 30 mins they brought my order and sure enough it was wrong. Will never come back to this location. read more

If you aren't going to start making the call in order until I get there than don't bother answering the phone. 3 call in orders all standing around while they start making the orders. I called in 30 minutes ago and have been waiting for 20. Garbage. Last time I'll order from here. read more

I wish I could give them a better review, but they are way too inconsistent with their quality of food. Sometimes it's great, other times it's horrible! I love Toco Cabana, but this location does not do justice to the franchise. Also, some of their staff could improve with their customer service. They are not always friendly and they often make mistakes with the order. I hope it improves because it's the only location in Irving. read more

Probably the best Taco Cabana for me. Great food, great employees. Really good food with a very fresh condiments bar. Had to wait a few min for my margarita, so the gave me a free one read more

I have driven thru this location atleast 20+ times after I get off work (usually between 10:30-midnight) and they never seem to get my order right. The staff is rude to boot. I'll most likely continue to visit this location because of lack of options, but I sure hope they make some changes. read more

I love taco cabana, but this location leaves me so frustrated every visit. They always seem to be way under staffed. My last visit was to buy two dozen breakfast burritos. It was after 10 am (they open at 6 am) and they had no salsa. I was told nobody had made any yet. A Mexican food place that had been open for four hours and nobody had made salsa?? How??? read more

The food at this location is great but my god this has to be the slowest taco cabana I've ever been to. I've visited this location for lunch and breakfast and have sat for 20-30 mins in line in the drive thru. Indoors is no better. This location needs to either hire more staff to handle the demand of Cypress Waters or improve their processes. read more

Egg and Potato Tacos - Awesome! This is about the only thing I have ever ordered in the numerous times I've been here and highly recommend it. I also recommend adding the chorizo. The quality of the Salsa bar is variable. They have a mean Pineapple Chipotle Salsa which I recommend. The Pico was frozen the last time I was there which was disappointing. I grabbed a few packets of salt and pepper on my way out for the Tacos and half of them had no salt or pepper. That probably is a quality control issue with the people selling the condiments to TC though. read more
