Food - Our server brought out a nice, warm bowl of tortilla chips and red salsa. The chips were crispy, lightly salted, and were a great start to my meal. I then went with the Queso Fundito. The Oaxaca cheese was served in a hot pan, and the cheese was super stringy. I'm talking NY Style pizza string cheese. I had to use my knife to cut the cheese and wrapped it around warm tortillas to make my own mini enchiladas. For my main dish, I went with Cheese Enchilada Roja. Smothered in Salsa Roja, but the red onions were a bit tart for me. My meal ended with a chocolate Tres Leches cake. The cake was moist, but the star was the chocolate leches bath the cake sat it, soaking up the flavors and creating a sweet bite. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Our group of ~40 people celebrated a friend's birthday here last weekend. We were able to park in the garage behind the restaurant and that came in handy since the weather was inclement. When we arrived we were greeted and shown where out party was to be seated - on the right side of the restaurant. They do have an enclosed area that I'm told seats just over 30 but our crew was too large for that obviously. The tables were arranged in a U-pattern and each place was set nicely. The food we had was delicious, fresh, and plentiful. I had chicken burritos with mole sauce on top and it was quite satisfying. The servers were attentive and nice. All in all, we had a very nice experience here and I would come back here with a smaller group to get a more typical dining experience. read more

This is a true hidden gem in Las Colinas! If you're considering trying it out, you better go because this is a must. The dishes are true authentic Mexican cuisine. You can't go wrong with any of them. The staff is friendly and very polite. We went during the weekend for lunch Saturday and Sunday (yes, it was worth it!) and it wasn't crowded at all. We really enjoyed our time at this restaurant over the weekend! We had a big party (24 people) that we reserved for, and despite our booking not getting processed on their end, they quickly prepared their private room for us so we didn't have to wait. We had some elderly people, kids, and a host of cultural backgrounds within our party which can make serving a bit challenging and certainly tiresome. However, our servers were patient, upbeat, catered to everyone's requests, and went above and beyond to take great care of us. The food was DELICIOUS!! I think it is absolutely ridiculous that I have passed by this place a dozen times and never tried it. I have been missing out! This is exquisite food from Mexico. Noticed I didn't say Mexican food because I think people would tend to stereotype that you're going to get some Tex-Mex queso with brisket tacos. You're not. You're gonna get great regional specialties from the Mexican state of Puebla and the Gulf Coast of Veracruz and the Yucatán. We loved the Romaine heart Caesar salad with homemade croutons the original Caesar dressing recipe from Tijuana... Yes, check your history books, the Caesar salad is from Tijuana, Mexico. We also had the mole - wow! - and the cochinita pibil which was an amazing flavor burst with the marinated, shredded pork. You can't go wrong with any of those dishes. Omar, the owner, was very nice and came to our table explaining some of the dishes and the service was great. Parking is plentiful in the garage behind the restaurant. A++ read more

This spot is delicious! The space is tastefully decorated and has lots of lovely natural lighting. We had speedy and attentive service the whole way through. We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait. We got the red salsa and frijoles enchiladas with cheese and chicken and they were AMAZING!! We stopped by during an off-hour around 3 PM with my two kids, and it turned out to be the perfect time to enjoy an amazing meal without the rush. We ordered the birria tacos with corn tortillas, and wow, they were absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The street corn came as three small corn cobs sprinkled with cheese and a tangy sauce such a fun twist on a classic. We also started with the guacamole, which was extra special thanks to the red onions and crispy pork rinds served alongside. My kids shared a chicken quesadilla, and it was the perfect portion for them simple, cheesy, and fresh. The service was wonderful: fast, attentive, and super accommodating with the kids. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which, as any parent knows, earns bonus points! The whole restaurant had a warm, welcoming vibe, relaxed but still stylish. We took a large party here for a birthday celebration! The decor and ambiance is very nice and the decor is simple. It's right next to the parking garage and that really matters to me for some reason. The food was good! It didn't blow me away, but it was good! I think what was really lackluster was the service. The host was wonderful and kind, but our waitress was very quiet and very inattentive. She never gave us her name and she came by rarely. Since it was a birthday, we had a cake. Usually the staff would help in making room by storing it or offering to cut it or simply finding a place for it, but that didn't happen. Our table was extremely crowded and it was not acknowledged. I get it though, this might be a bratty complaint and WE brought the cake so WE should've planned something on that end, which I can accept. It was just not what I normally experience. We hardly got our water refilled and we had to ask the waitress a few times for simple items like salt or extra salsa. It was also weird because she just completely ignored the birthday aspect. When we cut cake she came by with a few extra plates but we had to literally cross the restaurant to find someone to give us forks. Just odd. I don't know if the service is what's going to keep me from coming back, but it might given that there are many good Tex Mex options around. read more

The atmosphere, service, people, location, food, drinks - all chefs kiss. We stopped in here while visiting the area and it's an upscale Mexican restaurant. The menu features a few standard Mexican options but they're elevated with fun twists. The 'chips' and guac are amazing. The guac comes with pork rinds and the 'chips' are more like pita crackers and SO addictive. I had a cucumber margarita and it was so good that I got another. The people at the bar with us were regulars and raving about the drinks they have. For dinner I had the grilled vegetables with goat cheese. Nothing Mexican about them. Just delicious roasted veggies and goat cheese - plenty to be someone's meal. It wasn't packed on a Friday night. Plenty of parking along the road and we easily grabbed a spot at the bar. But I think the "chef" forgot the "infused with flavorful ingredients" cause it has ZERO flavor and the tortillas are NOT handmade... I'm Mexican so I know homemade/handmade tortillas! I also ordered guacamole, also ZERO flavor! And charro beans, also ZERO flavor! All the food is overpriced. I wish the owners would read these reviews and fix these issues immediately cause I've read multiple ones similar to mine as far back as a year ago. This place could be great if they fix the "chef" issue! The waiters need to improve their service too. The inside of the restaurant is well organized, and I loved the greeter who helped us when we entered the restaurant. We were able to be helped rather quickly, and she explained the menu well. The menu is simple and not overwhelming. We were given chips and salsa, which were homemade as soon as we placed our order. The chips were really hard so I couldn't eat them and the salsa was okay. Foodie Alert! There is a new restaurant in town called cielito mexican flavors located in Las Colinas! They offer handcrafted cocktails and authentic Mexican food! The owner and his team provided fantastic customer service. My favorite dish was the Queso Fundido, served with freshly made flour tortillas! So yummy! Stopped in for lunch, wonderful experience. Our server Sarah absolutely made our day, definitely ask for her! I got the limoncello cocktail and boyfriend got the summer in Jalisco. Both were very balanced, not too strong or overly sweet. 3 salsas are provided: Verde was so yummy with the not too thin chips! The chicken nachos were fairly priced for how large of a serving, and the flavors all exploded in my mouth! Authentic Delicious Mexican food! We got the Queso Fundido made of Panela Oaxaca cheese with pork chorizo for appetizers. Simple but very delicious, you can tell it's made from real and not processed cheese. I highly recommend the Conchinita Pibil (Roasted Pork) which was amazing, so flavorful and the meat was very tender. My boyfriend got the Cielito Chicken Enchiladas which was also very good and tasty. Tried the award winning dessert Rosa Mexicana and it didn't disappoint, it wasn't overly sweet that made you want to stop eating after only a couple of bites. Service was great, Karla recommended a great drink La Picosa. She was very attentive as the rest of the waitstaff. To add, ambiance is great, interior of the restaurant is nicely decorated.
