This was 113 dollar 'party pack'

We did use delivery service but watched the guy sit outside waiting When he picked up food (uber eats added a stop after an hour wait) So We said would give extra to come straight here because it had been so long. He did and it was lukewarm at best. And what was for 4-6 people was a mediocre portion for 175 dollars. Very disappointing

Great Mexican vibe and kind of feels like you have to order a margarita. Very colorful inside and a great patio with large garage doors that open up when the weather is nice. The margaritas are good but look at the menu because a lot of them have the same ingredients but different prices. Salsa and queso were good, fajitas were sizzling and well seasoned, and the fish tacos were great. We went on a Saturday evening and there was no wait for a table for 2.

    Steak fajitas medium rare! Perfection!

It's something about the lime marinated meats especially the beef, that keep me coming back to Lupe Tortilla. I typically come to the Irving location when I land at DFW. It's in a retail/restaurant area, so there's plenty of parking. I wish I could say how good everything is, but I typically always get the 1/2 steak fajitas. I will say the I've had the Chipotle smoked ribs a few times and they are really good too. But the flavor and tenderness of the steak fajitas, is what keeps me coming back. The beans for your chips are pretty good too. I typically always sit at the bar where the service can be a little hit or miss, but I've never had an major issues. I've had Lupe in 3 or 4 different locations in Texas and my fajitas always taste great!!

I wish I had more pictures but the whole process of getting my catering order was too complicated. My order was not there when I went to pick it up, was told it was out for delivery. Well once I get back to the office I get a call saying it was at the restaurant, they did however take off the delivery fee for the misunderstanding. But I ordered catering for around 60 people and didn't like it was enough food, the chicken was also dry but the steak was decent. I also took a pic of how the chips were bagged, would not have expected this, very unsanitary. The extra salsas and condiments were also put into like those large gallon containers that were difficult to open and just way too big, overall disappointed with my experience.

Fire fajitas on deck! Sides are great, flour tortillas are fresh and salsa on point. Service is always great, bring clients here often. Feels like a traditional tex-mex, fun decor and vibes. Give this place a chance!

We love it hereeeeee the burrito is obviously the best thing on the menu also love the green chicken enchiladas and the fajitas of course are always the family go to pick

They have complimentary chips and salsa once you are seated. The chips were fresh and the salsa was typical for a Mexican place. I got the spinach and artichoke enchiladas ($19) and it came out in about 20 minutes. Enchiladas were alright, loaded with sauce but not much spinach and artichoke filling. The rice and beans were meh. Staff were nice. Overall for a chain restaurant it was alright, nothing fancy but it got the job done. Food(50%): 6.3 Staff/service(25%): 6.5 Value(25%): 6.0 Overall: 6.3/10

This is prefilled by the restaurant and very sneaky thing to do.

Hot sauce was tasteless. No flavor and when I asked for the other sauce , manager came out and told me they discontinued it. they took away the good hot sauce and left the tasteless one to be served. His solution was to bring me a chopped Serrano peppers and later on I saw that I was charged for it which he failed to mentioned it will be an additional cost. I saw a comment card for my check number that they filled out and placed it face down at the bottom and it was hidden by my check. I just happened to notice it and flipped it. I never filled it out and it was really sneaky that they did this. I AM SHOCKED they did this. They wrote 5 star on everything and make it look like I filled it out. Very sneaky and wrong! Lupe owner should find out whose handwriting it is and it's definitely not mine!

We felt it had been a while since we had Mexican cuisine, so we pulled on over on our way home. I have never been given beans with chips and salsa but I am not complaining. The beans were so good, I almost ordered a side but contained myself on that one. Spicy Red Enchiladas (3) Roasted chicken, corn tortillas, Jack cheese, spicy red sauce, pico de gallo, sour cream. 17.95 ----Everything was good except the sauce they used to cover the enchiladas. It turned out to be the salsa they served with the chips and we were not a fan. I am super picky over my rice and beans and really enjoyed them here. Tortilla Soup Grilled chicken, tortilla strips, corn, tomatoes, cilantro, Jack cheese, poblano peppers & sliced avocado. 15.95 --- I am a sucker for soup and one of my favorites is Tortillas Soup, super happy with my order and they put an ample amount cheese! My margarita flight was 19.99 --- I could not drink any of my margaritas they were overly sweet and syrupy the flavors did not mesh with the alcohol, but my theory is this had to be bottom shelf tequila.

Drinks were great! Food is a little on the expensive side. I ordered seafood as I don't eat land animals. They actually had several selections. Would go Back.

Oh this place hits! We love the service! On the weekends we come out and eat on the patio! Dogs are welcome! Their pancakes are the best thing to me! The presentation is everything! I love it! The staff here is super friendly and they actually remember us each week! A few of us come here after our runs on the weekend! I totally love this place!

The service was so well! We got sat really fast. He and the food was amazing. The restaurant was a very pretty on the inside and nicely decorated. We loved sitting on the patio and will definitely come again.

The menu leans Mexican fusion, with standout seafood and steak options across the board. One of my personal favorites is their sea bass special with pineapple reduction. It's beautifully balanced sweet, savory, and rich without being heavy and comes with perfectly cooked charred vegetables on the side. The drinks are excellent, especially the margaritas, which definitely lean on the stronger side, fair warning that one drink can feel like two. Save room for dessert too; they offer a solid selection of cakes and sweets that are a great way to close out the meal. Service is attentive and warm, and they also have private group dining rooms available, making it a great option for corporate events or holiday parties. Valet parking is available, but there's also plenty of convenient parking right next to the restaurant. Overall, Via Real is a reliable, elevated dining experience that still feels welcoming and rooted in tradition, a Las Colinas classic for a reason.

My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - Via Real has a dedicated parking lot and valet parking - this is a sign of an upscale restaurant. Inside, it's a beautiful restaurant (currently decorated for Christmas). There's a dedicated bar in the back, the tables are perfectly set, and the vibe exudes an upscale feel. 1 Star. Service - Upon entering, you're greeted with a smiling hostess to assist. Since I was here for an event, they walked me to the appropriate room. Via Real has dedicated rooms for events, and we had a dedicated staff member who made sure we had drinks in hand. All requests were taken care of. They were fast, accommodating, and professional. 1 Star. Food - Via Real specializes in Southwestern cuisine. It's not Mexican or Tex-Mex, but if you're fans of that cuisine, you'll find familiar flavors. My events had several items, but my favorite were the individual nachos. Instead of a shared platter, a single (large) tortilla chip is topped with chicken or beef and oven-melted cheese. It felt more like bite-sized appetizers than traditional nachos. At the bar, I enjoyed a decaf cappuccino and creamy caramel flan. You can eat at the bar, but there are also tables you can sit at. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Via Real is in my neighborhood and has been in Irving-Las Colinas as long as I can remember (mid 90's). If you are ever in the area, make sure you stop by. 1 Star.

(English down below)…read more Saliendo del aeropuerto DFW, busqué algún restaurante que tuviera sopa de mariscos; no sé de dónde vino el antojo. Digo yo... no sé. Mejorar estos dos detalles llevaría la experiencia en El Viejón a otro nivel. ¡El Viejón, recomendadísimo! ------------------------------------- Leaving DFW airport, I found myself craving seafood soup--no idea where the craving came from. I searched for nearby options and El Viejón came up. I checked the online menu and reviews, then drove 13 minutes, only to discover a real gem. What I loved: The service was excellent. Nidia took care of us--she was not only kind, but also attentive and efficient. Adolfo, the manager, is a great guy. The simple but important things: Their plastic cups are surprisingly original. The menu is simple and humorous. Prices are fair for the generous portions they serve. What truly impressed me: The seafood soup. This kind of soup is simple: either you know how to make it, or you don't--and when you don't, it ends up like the one at Pappadeaux... something to cry about. This one, however, is loaded with seafood (crab, clams, octopus, fish, shrimp, squid, etc.). It has a subtle sweetness, and you can taste every distinct note. Highly recommended. One soup is more than enough for one person. I learned that lesson too late--after also ordering the grilled octopus. I had to get it to go because it was simply too much food. My only two complaints: The tostadas they serve come with chicken that looks like tuna but tastes like plastic. My dog was with me and wouldn't even eat it--which says a lot. Very strange. The other issue is the music: too loud and all from the same genre. If the goal is to honor Mexican culture, there are so many genres to choose from. Just saying--I don't know. Fixing these two things would take the experience at El Viejón to another level. El Viejón--highly recommended.

Confused, I chose one of the cheaper options only to find out after getting bill that my margarita was $18.95! Is this Via Real?!? If so, take some lessons from them on how to make a quality margarita since this one was not $18.95 material. - 3% service charge over posted prices for using a credit card. Didn't realize that on last visit. You do that, you're telling me you never want me to return. Food was good. Just not THAT good. I will say that the entree I received was large enough for 2, which would have made the $27.50 more reasonable. But if that's the intent, mention it on the menu. But I'm not sharing a nearly $25 margarita (after tax, tip and service charge).
