If you are in on a Jump plan don't come here. They told me it would cost $80 to upgrade so I called TMobile customer service and they told me it is free to upgrade. Either these guys don't know what they are doing it they are intentionally trying to rip you off. Sales rep Charlie Lara told me the $10/mo insurance was required to participate in the ETF reimbursement program. Thankfully I did my research and found out he was trying to enroll me in the JUMP program and that it is NOT required. That's super shady dude. I wonder how many people he already lied to to get his commission. Edit: I did more research and found out that neither the JUMP nor the upgraded data plan is required for the ETF reimbursement program. I was hoping T-Mobile would have more ethics than my current carrier, but Charlie has shown otherwise by trying to mislead me... Do your research beforehand! I do not write Yelp reviews but here I am, three months of pure annoyance later. I asked the associate helping me if purchasing an iPhone paid in full out of my own pocket would modify anything on my account, and he blatantly lied in my face and told me no. This was in September. Come November I'm more than a little surprised to get a bill 40 dollars above what I am suppose to pay. A quick trip to the T-Mo site and lo and behold, we have ourselves some magical additional data added to both my lines. Funny thing is I didn't even have data in the first place on my second line! I am giving an update to my experience below because it has been never ending! This store flat out LIED to me when I was forced in to change my phone when T-MOBILE bought out Sprint. A scam just to get more money out of people! I was told my new phone was an even swap with my old phone. LIE!!! They told me I had to wait 50 days to go to a new server without paying anything. I did but when I went to change my service to Spectrum. T-Mobile said they would not unlock my phone until I paid 375.00 for my phone. The phone that was supposed to be an even swap?? I've spent the last two days back and forth with customer service TMobile, and after refusing to pay and telling them I would take to twitter, they waived the fee and told me I had been lied to by this store. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!! They obviously get some high commission to rip off customers with no conscience at all!! Went to Spectrum and saved 55.00 a month on my new plan only costing me 14.99 a month. read more

Absolute worst customer service of any T-Mobile store I've been to in recent years. I can understand a rep having poor knowledge base but rudeness and aggression are another matter. Ivan seems to have something that needs to be addressed before coming out on the floor again. I am not sure what warrants his aggressive behavior and butting in when another rep is calmly helping us. L told us to go elsewhere to find a phone, after she finally removed the iphone sign that we pointed out having false advertising, you can feel the stress the moment you walk in that place. I've given this T-Mobile store two chances to wow me and disprove the 1.5 star rating it has. Both times they have disappointed. The first time I went to this store was 5 months ago. I needed a new SIM card because I was switching to an iPhone 5. I had called beforehand into the 611 number and they said to just go into the store. When I got there, the representatives stated that it was $30 per SIM.. I was taken aback by this expensive piece of plastic and copper. Right then and there I had to call back to 611 and ask them to put it in the notes and THEN the store would oblige. The second time was yesterday. Again I had spoken to 611 regarding the recent Blackberry promotion. It ended 3/5/14 (Wednesday) but I told the rep on the phone (Clinton) that I wouldn't be able to make it in by end of day due to work. He offered to extend it for me (consulted and confirmed by his manager as well). He said he notated it in my account notes and the store would simply have to read the notes to oblige. No surprise when I got to the store, the useless representative (Lucy) vehemently told me, "The promotion has expired, there's no way we can honor it". I explained to her my situation and that the rep on the phone and his manager agreed to extend. She tapped a few buttons on her keyboard and said "NOPE!". I had her call in to their customer support. After a 30-second call, she said, nope. With her being so unhelpful, I decided to call back to 611 on the spot where I talked to a lovely assistant named Tanya. She happily obliged seeing the notes in my account. She asked if I wanted to pick up the phone at the store at that point. I told her I would not want that store to have my business and promptly left. In conclusion, I will send in my blackberry directly to T-Mobile, get the credit I was promised, and will order a phone that will be delivered directly to my house. No more dealing with T-Mobile retail store bullshit. 5 Star for T-Mobile Customer service -3 for useless 'customer service' representatives at this store -1 for not even giving it a shot. This happened on Dec 30, 2013 early afternoon. I would give a negative star if there's an option. Here's my experience... This guy charged me for something he could have done for free or simply tell me how to do it myself! Our family just switched carrier from Verizon to T-Mobile. I wanted to swab numbers on 2 of my phones. Couldn't just switch the sim cards since these phones use different size sim cards. I went to this store where I purchased the phone an ask one of agents to help me. He told me that he have to charge me for the switch. I told him that our family has 4 lines just switch over to T-Mobile.... Then he said, "Ok, I will do it for you but you have to purchase two headsets." I was like, WTH??? In a hurry back to the office, I didn't ague with him ended up spend $40+ for something he doing "free" for me! Later on I found out, I could have switch the sim card numbers myself! He could have told me to do it on-line if he was too lazy to do it!!!! I am pissed. Not the $40 I spent but someone actually telling you a lie while smiling! Most of the people who work here are fine.. actually I would go as far to say that the people who work here are good and friendly. However if you plan to return online orders, expect it to be somewhat difficult or expect a restocking fee. Here's the trouble I had: TAKING A LOANER PHONE OUT IS LIKE BUYING IT if you happen to get a loaner phone note that you're buying the phone so make sure you know what the return policy is. Usually 14 or 30 days..Unfortunately I wasn't informed of this policy when I took mine and I was 37 days in it was quite troublesome getting my "deposit" back because they "cant" do refunds after 30 days. I understand that 37 days is a long time but had I been informed to begin with, it would have never been an issue. I had to wait for 45 min for manager approval while he was selling every case in the store to the customers before me. I would rate people who work here 4 stars because they're all very polite and provide friendly service; however.. I must -1 star for hopefully experience ill never have deal w/ again. read more

I love T-Mobile and this review is particular to this retail location. So I came to return a phone I purchased from another corporate store. After asking where I purchased the device, the sales associate walked to the manager who right away said I had to go back to the place where the purchase was originated. I asked why since I purchased from a corporate office and not from an authorized retailer. I was just told "policy change." I knew they were wrong. After speaking to a T-Mobile customer service representative, they confirmed that I could return to any corporate store and made some notes on my account. Sales associate and manager begrudgingly proceeded with the return. After the transaction was completed, I said very nicely "Thank You!" The associate replied " Mmmm hum". Don't waste your time, go to a non company store . These guys lie to get sales. Told me to put this thing in my car for WiFi only $46.00. Didn't mention you will be charged 12.00 per month. After 2 weeks , before you find out about the 12.00 charge, you can no longer return the device. To deactivate the service they charge you 46.00 not bad if you can use it, but another 2 people in the store also said it doesn't work. It alerts you for no reason. I even changed my car battery , but it still says battery is no good....piece of junk. That means you pay 46.00 for something that doesn't work because the salesperson lies to make a sale. Here is the story.. About 5 month agoI purchased the Iphone 6S with Jessica and I purchased phone insurance and at that time I made sure would this insurance will cover crack on screen and she said yes we will replace the screen with insurance.. She clearly stated that I have to send phone to company and it will take one business day... Then i broke my screen and I called this place and can i get my screen replace and now they are telling me i have to pay $175 deductable well, I did not hear anything about $175 deductable and I talked to store manager Freddy and goes we are not allow to say the exact price because price range changed depends on the phone.... Well, here is all the fuzzy stuff 1) Jessica knew which phone i purchased 6S.... 2) She never mentioned that insurance isn't really good idea for fixing screen since you have to pay $175 dedubtable which is higher than any store you go to .. Even apple is $130.. 3) I called other t-mobil and asked does insurance cover crack? and this person goes insurance isnt' really good for fixing crack its good for stolen or dropped the phone in water.... I am wrting formal letter to t-mobil about this..... Yes i understand they have to sell stuff but hey buying insurance and paying more than normal store can is not really good thing..... read more
