This place has done nothing but give me the run around after starting me and my wife on a plan with faulty devices. They keep telling us that It's a known issue and then they keep making us jump through hoops with the same faulty equipment! This is one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had! This place, I dont know if it was the particular "employee" geared to make the greatest sale but is deviated because he is a crazy JERK, but what BS this guy tried on me. Thats messed up. He lied to my face treated me like a stupid, trying to tell me there wasnt a bundle package offer of $40 per line up to 4 lines. I was like yeah dude there is, I just saw it online. Above and beyond service is what we received here. My son was misinformed about only needing my ID of an account holder to be able to switch SIM cards for a new phone. Kyle I believe his name was, the store manager, grabbed a tablet and accompanied him to me at walmart to continue the process of activating a new sim. read more

I agree, going to this location is nothing but a pain. I have been to this store twice and both trasactions were nothing but a bad service and attitude and some discrimination on top of it. I think it is time for t-mobile to evaluate some of candidates before hiring them to represent thier name and business. My advice if you still want to keep your lines with T-mobile you are better of going to a better location then this or call the 800 number directly to conduct your business. As for me I switched 3 lines Verizon and there will be more lines to switch from T-mobile. read more

I came in here 3 days ago to do a SIM card replacement. I waited about 5 minutes and I was helped by the assistant manager named Tahila. This is the worst experience I have ever had with T-Mobile. She was extremely rude and kept denying everything I was saying. She kept telling me that she couldn't do the SIM card replacement because they did not write it on the memos on the account, but clearly you can tell the SIM card was defective. I received it with an equipment I had purchased and it clearly says on the sim card in bold activate by 02/2018 and we are in 02/2019! Then she started making things up, telling me that the line was not activated and she couldn't help me. She told me I had to call customer care and she could not speak to them for some bs excuse. I probably spent about 40 minutes before the manager came and helped me out. I would give the manager a 5/5 because he was extremely fast and helpful. He took care of everything and was being extremely nice. He did not give me attitude like his assistant manager was. Overall, I spent about 50 minutes at this store for something that should have taken 10 minutes max. I left with a headache. I highly recommend going to the T-mobile on either 2nd st or magnolia instead! read more

This store - some employees are inept! IF you want to loose your service for their error when trying to add another line, by all means, go to this location. Not only will it take hours of your time for them to unwrap their mess, it will inconvenience you further trying to restore your service and keep the data you had in your phone from becomming lost. Pushing off to the customer to install a new SIM and having it be the customer's problem should data get lost is unacceptable. Becomming disconnected, when your life revolves around your abiltiy to be accessable is inexcusable..Being overcharged for service is also a problem. I've been with T-Mobile for over 7 years and now it's time to look for another provider. Service in the stores has gone to crap! Find a better corporate store to go to read more

My family and extended member of my family have been T-Mobile customers for many years. I maintained a mobile telephone for my mother who was 81 and she became ill around the time for her mobile phone to renew. I went to the T-Mobile store located at Parkway Plaza in El Cajon, CA 92020 and was informed by the sales associate that if I renewed my mother's contact and she passed away "as bad as this sounds, just bring in a death certificate" and there will be not termination fees. Sadly my mother passed away on August 28, 2011. A few days after she passed away I contacted T-Mobile to ask that they suspend services until we received the death certificate from the coroner. They asked that I send in a copy of her death certificate and advised that there would be no early termination fees. In the interim, I received my mobile bill with a $200.00 termination fee. I contacted T-Mobile and was informed that two of your employees (the store associate and the first employee I spoke with to suspend the account) were misinformed and I would need to pay the $200.00 early termination fees despite what I had been told. In an effort to resolve this matter, I spent most of my afternoon speaking with one associate after another (many of them unkindly toward me considering I have just lost my beloved mother and I am forced to speak with 12 employees who said that there is nothing they could do to waive the fees. I spoke with: Cal who did not want to direct me to a supervisor, second associate (I could not understand her English), Haley (2 times), Corporate office (tried to leave a message, voice mail full), Corporate office again (spoke with answering service who said she could not take a message and I would need to call back), Enz (who was particularly rude and hard to understand), Supervisor Ernie (who was not only not sympathetic he was incredibly rude), another supervisor (could not understand name and insisted I should have understood from Ernie and no need to speak with him), Katherine S (rude #122-72289) In fact, I was informed more than once that had I been the one to die, and because I am the primary on the account, I would not have been charged. I have never had a problem with T-Mobile but this is inexcusable to treat someone in morning with such contempt and disrespect. I was careful to check my options with the store and had they provided me with the accurate information I would not have renewed my contract. Additionally the first associate I contacted after my mother's death informed me that I need only send in the death certificate. The associates of T-Mobile I have dealt with since my mother's death are some of the most insensitive individuals I have encountered. It is disgraceful that not only did I receive the wrong information from the store associate and the first associate I contacted after my mother died, but also to have to speak with 12 members of your staff (Three hung up on me - later saying the phone call was dropped) is not what I expect from my telephone provider. No star these people are crooks . I have been with T mobile for quite some time for the sole reason of not wanting to change my cell number . I went to the el cajon T mobile store and asked the person that worked there how to get wifi for my lap top . I explained to the person in the store that I do not know much about the new phones . the t mobile person at the t mobile store told I need to buy separate phone and wifi devices instead of pointing me to a phone the did both the bill was outrageous . my problems did not end there . the wifi device hardly functions at my work near down town san diego . the billing has been a repeated nightmare .one such billing problem t mobile customer service told me they would reimburse the said amount within 48 hours they lied going on 5th day and nothing , now they want $600.00 plus to end the contract . BEWARE OF T MOLILE please don't end up in my situation . like I said I have been a customer of T mobile for a long time now I have the deepest regrets for doing so . So we've been a customer of T-Mobile going on something like 7 years now and have been pretty pleased with the service. Our main reason for coming into this particular store was after a few failed attempts at getting a SIM card for my mothers iPhone (she's from London and wanted to get a local SIM card for when she is in the US travelling, as she does quite often each year). After going to AT&T and a couple other kiosks in the store, for companies that actually sell the iPhone, we came into this TMobile storefront to see if they might have one. Sure enough, Vivienne the customer service lady up front greeted us and told us that would be no problem. It took maybe 15 minutes to take care of the issue and my moms iPhone was US ready for calls in such a short time. Vivienne was extremely helpful, quick and friendly and didn't try to up-sell us on anything we didn't want. The service here is about the same as other T-MObile locations we go to, but Vivienne was by far the best. The only reason why they lost a star was because the store was so small, they didn't have all their normal gadgets, trial phone stations out, just whats currently the most popular and in promotion right now. But other than that I highly recommend coming here, if you know they have the phone you want. As with any cell provider, I'd strongly wait until you know a promotion is happening not just with service options but the phones as well, then come in, otherwise you may miss the opportunity as the store associates only know what promotions are happening until corporate tells them to spread the word and advertise (they all do this to stay a step ahead of their competitors, the lay of the land here in the US). I've never had too many T-Mobile service faulted problems, its always been something problematic with satellites, explainable mother nature interruptions in service or my poor maintenance of phones. I've never had dropped calls, slow internet or much issues with my phones and am able to have the same phone for a few years no problem, so TMobile works with some good phone technologies and provides really good, easy to manage service without costing an arm and a leg for it. Tip: If you text, browse the web or take pics/video on your phone, but not make a ton of calls everyday opt for a plan with the least minutes, you'll save money that way, and take advantage of "family plans", they don't just apply to families. I've known roommates to all get on one family plan before as well. read more

I went in yesterday to take advantage of a promotion that they have for the IPhone 7. My boyfriend and I were helped by Ezequiel during this process. Unfortunately the system was not letting us place the pre-order, but Ezequiel was persistent and continued to try to help us. He switched computers, tried on multiple tablets, used another team members id, even tried using both of our addresses to try to make the pre-order go through. When he came to the conclusion that it was the entire system at fault, he offered to give us a call later that day to try to process it, once the system was back and running. Later that evening when he called, he let us know that the entire system was still not working at the end of the day. Still, he offered to call the next day and try again when he got back to work. Today we got in contact and we were able to place the pre-order no problem. Ezequiel gave exceptional customer service and really went that extra step to help us out in our purchase. He has given me by far the best customer service from t-mobile. I would recommend this location and try to request for Ezequiel since he is so very helpful! read more
