Unprofessional service and direct violation of AT&T's corporate policy…read more We visited this authorized retailer location (131 N Broadway, El Cajon, CA 92020) to handle an issue where AT&T's system accidentally generated a duplicate online order, wrongfully charging my brother's card an extra $289 and shipping 4 duplicate devices to our house. The representative, Adonay, completely refused to accept the return or help us solve the billing error. His excuse was that it would "mess up the store's inventory." I have attached a screenshot of AT&T's official Return & Exchange Policy here with my review. It explicitly and clearly states under the rules that: "Devices ordered online or over the phone can be returned to ANY AT&T retail store." Even after showing him this official policy directly on our phone, he still refused to do his job or call a manager to help. If you want a store that follows actual company policies and respects customers, avoid this location and avoid dealing with Adonay. I will be escalating this directly to AT&T corporate support.

I went into this store on April 6th to get a Celero 5G phone. The girl Daniela started talking…read morereally fast and asked me what phone I wanted. I told her and she said no problem. She rang me up and then processed the phone. I was waiting for her to ask me what service plan I wanted and if I wanted insurance. I was never asked. She said ok you are all done. All I gave her was my name my phone number account number and address. She asked nothing else. when I got home I noticed she had me paying for insurance which I never said I wanted and she had me paying for device set up. I could have set my own device up. As it was I had to do a factory reset so I could assign a pin number to unlock the phone. I also decided to buy a adapter for another phone and she said it was a 10 footer well it was only a 6 footer. There was no receipt in the bag for the adapter so I'm out 27 bucks. Then she didn't tell me their return policy changed. 3 days and you can't have more then 30 minutes used on phone PLUS a restocking fee of 20 dollars. I didn't know ANY of this until after I got my phone which means it would have been too late to return it because I did not want to lose money on a restocking fee. HOW you can restock a defective phone is beyond me. So I called the store and asked for a manager. Daniela said she was a manager. I told her I didn't appreciate what she did and she said oh well too bad. So SHE decided what plan I got and SHE decided if I wanted insurance or not. I guess they work on commission? I am now out 130 bucks. Not cool! And every time I call for The Store manager Eddie is never there.
