They did my Samsung table replaced the battery which was good. I asked if they could replace the battery for my ipod, he checked for a battery for my ipod model number. He had it, and said it could be done about an hour or so. Perfect, I picked it up later and it was fixed. Great job guys. I recommend them of you need any electronic devices to be fixed. So, I called just this last Friday. I threw my phone down from my hip and the phone reached 9 lives, it cracked on the asphalt. I've had bad luck with phones these last 8 years, I love Pixels, but my last two, no exception. They said for me to come in. Then I found out they wouldn't have the screen until Tuesday (two days ago). They replaced the screen in about 90 minutes. Now, I recommend this place if you want to replace the screen fast, or you are at the end of your ownership cycle (me, I got two years out of my phone, want to stretch it to three more). However, if you want an official screen or the same quality you had with your phone before your accident, I would consider other options. I was pretty desperate to change my phone screen fast. I worked with them and they worked with me. That's why I gave them three stars (which is still rated good). They also gave me a great price. However, I immediately noticed something off with the colors and the fuzziness in some of the images, especially around the corners, and the text. This is for my pixel 6. I have scaled it up one, used adaptive display, "boosted" color theme, and lowered it to 60hz. I chose a pleasant theme, so overall my pixel looks nice. However, sometimes going through photos and seeing round, but fuzzy text is noticeable. I remember my Pixel 6 being a bit sharper, quite a bit, actually. I sometimes don't notice it, but at times when I go through my photos, and not just social media, but photos, some of them look great, but other ones, I know they looked much better on my old screen. However, my old screen is cracked. The screen however, overall looks like the real thing and has the same rainbow reflections in certain lighting my old OLED pixel screen had. So it seems to be OLED, and after the screen protector was taken off (they sell those too), my Pixel screen is buttery smooth. I got my own OtterBox from somewhere else. It's like having a brand new phone. I live 2.5 mi away and I needed a new screen fast. So, for me and my needs, I'm overall happy except for the fuzziness issue. Being a Pixel, photos can be important. I'm sure the camera is still good and I scratched the phone a year after buying it so I'm just happy to have a smooth screen. Also, I recommend the shop tell you that your Google touch unlock sensor may not work in advance. They said I would be given an official Google screen, but they seemed hesitant when they told me that. Also people say it's a sign the screen is aftermarket if the fingerprint sensor doesn't work, but I heard it doesn't work after some official screen repairs as well. I got my new screen about $20 cheaper than any other place and had an additional discount thrown on top of that due to the fingerprint sensor and b/c I used cash. Shawn repaired my phone and was helpful so I appreciate his prompt repair and assistance with that. I recommend this place if you are in a pinch with money and want to save some. Phone next to end of cycle, etc. I however, regrettably, due to my experiences, would not expect the exact same quality you got when you purchased your phone new. I was prepared for this scenario, so I'm overall happy with my repairs. However, if you're looking for a working fingerprint sensor, genuine screen, and phone looking exactly the same as out of the box, I'd look into other Google certified shops unless in an emergency. For me, some of the glass was open and I didn't want any moisture leaking in, so I'm satisfied with my new screen. Going to ride this Pixel 6 three more years than consider getting a new one. read more

The people here were nice enough but . . . I brought my Samsung A20 here today to have them repair the broken protective glass in front of the screen. The screen worked fine. Of course that inexpensive piece of glass glass cannot be replaced because it comes attached to the expensive replacement screen. I don't believe this issue is unique to this establishment. I was told that it would take an hour so I went shopping. I finished shopping early (at 45 minutes) and stopped by in the hopes they might be done. They weren't and told me another fifteen minutes. No problem. I noticed my phone on the bench covered with clamps. I thought this a bit strange. Why did I think it strange? I usually do all my own work but I'm nearing 80 and occasionally will pay for something to be done because my eyesight is on the wane. When I was planning on repairing the phone myself I had looked on Youtube and saw that replacing the screen on my phone was about a 5 to 10 minute operation if the replacement parts were on hand. At the conclusion of that video the phone's back just snapped into place, so why the clamps? I soon found out. By the time I got home the back had come off of the phone. There were no snaps and an attempt had clearly been made to glue the back on but it had not held. The glue resembled rubber cement. The store was now closed so I decided to tackle it myself since I needed to use the phone. They had glued over an adhesive lining gasket and gluing glue to glue usually doesn't hold. I cleaned off the glue and used a high quality double sided tape often used specifically for this type of work. It held. https://shorturl.at/TiNge I did have one other issue. I wish I had been told that the replacement screen was a lower quality than the original before I consented to the job. The new screen is not as bright, has less contrast and is harder to see in daylight but it does work with no other new problems. I was told that the OEM screen was much more expensive but no one told me why. The $75 job would have been $110 Later they told me the glass alone could have been replaced but it took much more labor so it was cheaper to replace the screen in the process. Next time I'll just buy the glass and/or screen and replace it myself. I'll also request my original screen back. Hard to recommend! Not happy. Will replace the phone. I only buy the new inexpensive phones and I've had this one since it first came out. read more

He brought in the phone and the screen protector, instead of purchasing the screen protector at the store. He had bought it together with his new new case. My phone wasn't charging at all so either I needed it to be cleaned/pins realigned or needed to get a new charging port. The repair guy was so honest that he was able to repair it and charged me $20. The worst place to have a phone worked on. Seemed like the run around. The phone is fixed now but not by Touch-Tel wireless. They said I need a new screen, It did not. I had a highly technician to fix it over by the legal buildings. It wasn't the screenlike Touch-Tel said was. He also said he would clean the inside, he did not. And he did not put all the screws back into the phone. The new technician had extra and cleaned a lot cheaper than a new screen. I have to give a score, so 1 star is all this place gets from me. read more

The Touch-Tel Wireless tech inspected my phone and determined that all it needed was a new lens cap. $5. That's it. It would've been sooooo easy to convince me it was going to cost $$$. I needed my screen repaired and they all seemed kind at first, but after "testing" my phone I felt something suspicious. They called 611-0 to test the speaker, which didn't make sense. Then they told me it would be 30 minutes, even though I was their only customer (screen replacement takes about 5 minutes) after 20 minutes I returned and the phone was ready. I paid for the repair plus accessories and notice my fiancé had called me. I returned his call and he was in a panic asking me if I was ok. Apparently, while this shop had my phone (after giving it to them LOCKED), my fiancé said my phone number had called him, and there were two Russian/Ukranians having a conversation with one another in a vehicle. He thought something bad happened to me. So apparently my SIM was probably cloned, but after that incident I DO NOT recommend you get a screen replacement here. Unless you can stand next to them and watch them do it. Accessories are ok. read more

On New Year's Eve, instead of watching the ball drop at Times Square on TV, I watched my cell phone drop and hit the concrete of a driveway. The screen already had one previous crack and a chipped edge. This time the impact damaged the LCD so ink-like smudges began spreading across the screen. I knew that this was serious because by the next morning, nothing could be viewed any longer, and the device was rendered useless. Since my phone was an older model, I didn't know which stores had the right screen in stock as a replacement. I submitted a project request over Yelp for price estimates. This location of Touch-Tel Wireless responded within 30 minutes of my message with a quote. Another vendor also replied but stated they could not service the unit. A third business sent a response with a cost that was $45 more expensive. Even though they were located in La Mesa which was rather far away, their responsiveness, reasonable pricing, and late closing time made it worth the drive for me to take the phone here. The technician who wrote up my work order stated it would take two to four hours to finish the job. About two hours later, I received an e-mail saying that they had completed the repair. To safeguard the newly installed LCD and screen, I also purchased a screen protector from this place. Their inventory on hand was quite amazing as it seemed like they had supplies for every imaginable phone produced for the US market. These days, when your phone stops working, it seems your life takes a pause as well. I never wanted to be so dependent on my cell phone, but it just evolved into this over time. So when you become disconnected, for many there is a somewhat helpless feeling. What to do now? Few options. Own up to your mistake(provided it was yours)then go get it fixed or replaced. There are so many repair shops for cellphones that it can be a chore just finding one that is competent and reasonably priced. You can search through the Yelp app and send requests for numerous quotes on the repair needed. Suddenly you will get answers and price ranges, then it's time to pick one. Right before the Xmas I had a problem charging my phone because the cable would not stay in the charging port. This place was the least expensive for this service. I dropped off my phone and within an hour, the technician called and said it was ready. I hung around the mall killing time then when I arrived he mentioned that all that was required was a cleaning and found small metal particles in the port. $25 and back up and running! Fast forward 4 months later, I was changing a water supply hose on a toilet valve with my phone in my front t-shirt pocket. Can you guess what happened? Yes, as I was leaning forward to close the valve, "plop" went the phone right into the "clean" toilet water.. Then it went right into a bag of uncooked rice. I arrived here right when they opened and the tech disassembled it and said let it dry a few days in the rice. Unfortunately, it was not worth fixing(approximately $100)and it was a perfect reason to upgrade the phone. And get this- I wasn't charged a penny for his time, labor or advice! WHEN YOUR PHONE IS WORKING PROPERLY AND THEY CHANGE THE SCREEN AND THEN IT DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY, THAT IS NOT THE CUSTOMER'S FAULT (AS THE OWNER TRIED TO CONVINCE ME THAT IT WAS SOMETHING I DID). DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE TO GET THE SCREEN FIXED! I took my phone to get its screen repaired in Sept. 2020. I had a cracked screen on an i-phone 11 pro. It was functioning perfectly well WITH the screen crack but I was sick of looking at the crack so I took it in to be repaired. After being serviced by them, the screen was not as responsive to my touch. I called them after a couple of days and let them know this. I was told to wait a few days and it would be fine. The issue seemed to be less, but honestly, I think I just got used to the less responsive screen. After a couple of months my phone started going really wonky. The image on the screen would multiply multiple times (for example, a text message I was looking at would suddenly have 4-5 of the same image on my screen). The screen would then freeze like this and be unresponsive all together. It was impossible to use the phone like this. Sometimes the screen would go black and then I would feel that it was on (the screen would vibrate as if to "unlock") but the screen was not lit for me to see what was on the screen. Several times I accidently called 911 because I could not see what was happening on the screen. I took the phone back to them and told them the issues. The owner said "why didn't you bring it in sooner?" and I told him I was told it would be fine in a few days after the first screen was replaced. He replaced my screen with a broken screen (the screen I had on it WAS NOT broken) and I watched him switch the screen and replace it with a screen that had a crack on it. When he was checking me out, he let me know that the screen had a crack and that he would replace it if I had any issues. I did not contend this when he did it, and should have! The new screen had several "hairline" cracks as he called them...I could see these cracks when I was on a website with a white background because the screen looked green in these areas. Two days later, my phone was not working again. I took it back a THIRD time...they replaced the broken screen that they put on the last time with a screen with no cracks. But not after stating that it was basically my fault and that something was wrong with my phone because something I must have done. I asserted that I had no issues with my phone prior to coming to their shop. The screen crack did not affect my phone's performance, it was merely annoying to look at when on my phone. Who knows how long the phone will last, only because I believe they messed up the motherboard on my device when they replaced the screen the first time. WHEN I WAS THERE TODAY (12/22/2020), I HEARD ANOTHER WOMAN COME IN AND SAY, "I JUST HAD MY SCREEN REPLACED BY YOU GUYS AND IT IS NOT WORKING." The owner quickly shuffled her to the other side of the store...sadly, sounds like the damage is already done with this woman's phone, too. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. IF YOU HAVE AN EXPENSIVE PHONE AND NEED TO HAVE THE SCREEN REPLACED IT COULD BE (MULTIPLE TIMES!) AND IT WILL NEVER FUNCTION THE WAY IT DID BEFORE YOU BROUGHT IT TO THEM. read more

Couldn't find what I wanted for my iPhone @ the AT&T center there in the mall (or Walmart, Target,etc. -you get my point) and I figured might as well go in there to see.... What a massively stocked place for mobile phones. Immediately I was greater by a young man and when I said what I was looking for, obviously he knows the layout pretty well and immediately pulled it off the shelf! Now the kicker - as I kind of assumed this place would be a more expensive place than my prior searches in the mall (and it was, but they had what I needed). When he told me the price I wasn't to shocked but I said "a little bit more than if I went on line, and showed him the price there on my phone). He then spoke to another person who I gathered was the manager and there was no hesitation to adjust his store price! I would have bought it anyway because I'd already wasted an hour in the mall. So, not only did they provide the iPhone case I wanted they discounted a screen protector (without me asking!) and offered to put it on the phone while I waited. I came here for a screen repair first and it was done flawlessly and under an hour. I then had an issue with my battery health and they replaced it; unfortunately after the replacement, my phone became unable to use Face-ID function. I brought the phone back to them the next day and they began troubleshooting the issue immediately. They unfortunately were unable to solve the issue, but Dennis showed me his lengthy list of steps he tried and the parts he replaced to try and solve the issue.
