He offered to look at my phone first thing the following morning as A-K Tech was already closed that evening. I couldn't make it early in the morning but he was very accommodating and worked with my schedule. I dropped off my phone as as promised it was ready two hours later. His repair rates are the best I was able to find in East County, and he went above and beyond with the repair. I had shattered the back glass of my iPhone 11; not only did he replace it but he addressed an issue with an internal sensor that was causing issues with charging and with the phone abruptly restarting. He assured me that if I had any other issues to return so he could take a look at and address those problems. Fantastic customer service. Great experience at my first visit to this business--wife thought her Iphone was cracked as you could faintly see and feel a crack across the face of the phone--was given an estimate to have it fixed and estimate was the best of about a half dozen I received elsewhere--returned about 90 minutes later and was told the Iphone did not have a crack in it--what was cracked was the original screen saver that was on the phone--a very simple and inexpensive repair. Was very impressed with the honesty shown as they could have told me they had fixed the screen itself instead of just the screen saver--saved me about $100. So nice to see such honesty in a business. I recently visited A-K Tech in Lakeside to replace the cracked back cover on my cell phone. Hard to determine whether it was caused by a drop, since I don't recall doing so, or an expanding battery (phone was three years old), or a combination of both, which resulted in the crack. In any event, I was quite impressed with Allen, the owner. He has a patient; a good listener, and presented with a kind, friendly, disposition. I had already ordered and received the rear casing; Allen ordered the battery; everything was replaced the following day; and the phone looks and runs like new! Have an Iphone 8+ with a bad microphone and a questionable charging port. After reading some reviews on this place, took my phone in and talked to Allen. He said no problem, quoted a good price, and said call back in two hours. When I called back, was told more work was needed on the circuit board, and call back the next day after 2:00. So, after the shock of not having my phone for almost 24 hours, called back and was told it was ready.
