I had a 13 year old desktop that was dying. My complaint is about an employee "Ignacio" at iSquad in Santee. On Nov. 23rd, 2024, I went into iSquad in Santee and spoke to Ignacio I asked if he could replace the battery in my Cell Phone. He told me he could have the battery there in "One Hour", he was supposed to call me. So I left and canceled all my morning appointments and waited for his phone call. After over 2 Hours I did not hear back, so I called him. I said, "it has been over 2 hours and I have not heard back from him, did he get the battery". Immediately he seemed to have an issue with me asking a direct question about my order. He got an "Attitude" with me and said he did not like the way I was talking to him; he said I was "Rude". I did not get mad, I simply responded by apologizing. I said I apologize if you thought I was Rude; I was merely asking if you received the cell battery, as you said it would only be "one hour," and he never called back with an update. I canceled all my morning appointments due to what he told me. He then said he didn't want to do business with me. I again apologized and he then said he would check about the battery and call me back, he never called. So after playing out the incident in my head, I was never Rude, but civil and simply asked a direct question about the battery. I did not use any profanity or curse at him. Then I realized it was not me who should have apologized; it was he who should have apologized to me. He was the one who called me a name "Rude" and wasted my time, my whole morning, as I waited for him to do what he promised. And then he decided to alienate me from the agreed-upon business transaction. I don't understand how a company that treats its customers so badly can stay in business. Ignacio not only lost a customer who was simply trying to patronize his business, but I will also tell all my friends and family and leave negative feedback on social media. Now, the caveat is that perhaps this was an anomaly and he was having a "bad day," or perhaps this is his normal operating procedure when treating some customers, and if so, then I believe the iSquad management or corporate office needs to intervene before the business is lost to competition. Which is where I went, I simply went down the street to "UbreakIfix", the competition, and patronized their business; they were friendly, courteous, professional and happy to have my business. I had my I watch 'fixed' there and after 2 hours of being home the screen fell out. I contacted then and they said to go ahead and bring it back and they'll fix it. No apology, just seemed so bothered they have to re do it again. So I obliged, I dropped it off again and they 'fixed' it again. Less than a week later a very small black dog appeared on the bottom left edge of my watch. I didn't think anything of it and moved on with my life. As time went on, the black spot got worse and worse. Then covid hit. Over the past year it continuously to get worse. I've called to let them know, left messages with no call back. What a complete useless company. Made an appointment to have my son's screen replaced 3 days before the service date. Show up to pick up the phone, before they tell us it is the wrong screen. Then they didn't get the phone done before we told them we needed it. Gave them a second chance, with a repair to my phone. Was told "the parts will be here by 3". Show up for the repair, just be told that the parts won't be here till Monday after 3? So much for the guarantee they said. Never use this company, they can't be trusted. read more
