These guys couldn't help me st all but they were nice and tried for overt a month. (3rd review as a non elite after 15 years of eliteness, oh why oh why?) So I came her back in November because my phone fell in salt water. Finally on January 12th it was ready to be picked up. And they didn't charge me a dime. I guess they were really trying hard to save it but ultimately they said nothing could be done. They were really nice about it and I appreciate their efforts even if in the end they couldn't help me. I had already taken my computer to another store on Federal Boulevard in Lemon Grove to fix the charging port. They kept my computer for over a week and then told me that they couldn't fix it, but they didn't offer an explanation. However, Phone Zone Wireless fixed my computer in less than a week. Steven was awesome! I brought in an iPad that was shattered... the screen literally had holes in it. I had little hope, but he fixed it in about a day. It works great. We also brought in an old iPhone 11 that was not repairable. He ran free diagnostics, and realizing that it couldn't be repaired, he offered us some great options on used phones. We ended up buying a used phone from him... he gave us a way better deal than we could have gotten at Amazon or anywhere else. The phone was for my daughter. She worked for about 3 weeks to earn the money to buy the phone. Steve definitely hooked her up with a great deal. She is very happy with her phone. AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Both employees I interacted with were super kind, patient, and clear with their intentions, pricing, and work. My iPhone 14 Pro slipped out of my pocket during the Wonder Woman: Flight of Courage ride at Six Flags and completely shattered. I've dropped it several times in the past from all different heights on all different surfaces, just never this severely and my phone never budged. The front screen and inside of the phone was completely fine and worked normally. After light research, I realized I needed a housing replacement because the entire back and sides of my phone were destroyed (as seen in photo). They quoted me $219 over the phone, I went in, they confirmed what my phone needed and fixed it. I think housing replacements are usually $229, but since they remembered what they said over the phone, they honored the price! I didn't take a clear after photo, but my phone was good as new! You could not tell anything ever happened. They gave me a camera protector and let me know that my battery was a bit swollen and damaged, but it was not an issue and it was normal. However, after further inspection, my phone screen was slightly lifted and I suspected that it had something to do with the battery. I brought it in two weeks later and they adjusted it, no charge. Now, it looked completely new, could not tell anything ever happened. Since that incident, I understand that my phone is not the same and I've been careful to even the slightest drops. I've dropped it a couple times on carpet from about a feet high and my phone was fine. HOWEVER: today my phone slipped out of my hand from about 2 feet high, flat on the screen side onto carpet floor, and the back is now all cracked. I do not blame Phone Zone Wireless as they did an amazing job with the repair and I did drop my phone. Except I do think these repairs are a temporary fix for bigger issues and because these parts are not exactly the same as my original device, I will be looking into a new phone rather than coming back for another repair. Overall, these guys are great at their job, but these fixes are not as durable as they were before and depending on severity, save your money for something new. Remember that you pay for both the parts and the service, the service is great, the parts not so much. read more

Steven is amazing! I came in with an old iPhone I wanted to get rid of and wasn't sure what to do with, and an old 5th generation iPad that hadn't turned on in years that I wanted repaired. Steven did research on the iPad to ensure a repair would even be worth it, which I found incredibly considerate. He asked me what I would be using the iPad for and even researched the apps I wanted to use, ensuring I could still use them. He was so kind and helpful. He ended up buying my old phone which I was able to put towards the repair of my iPad, which I appreciated! Steven was clear and honest about the iPads issues. Steven, nick and Jason (and probably anyone I haven't met yet) are honest whether it benefits them or not, and will tell you the hard truth about your situation so you can make the best decision for you. They will almost never charge you more than you are quoted, and sometimes even less! (Unless, of course, YOU left something out... or something completely unexpected for both of you is discovered. He's not afraid to be honest and chastise me for my lack of phone care skills when it's due, which I completely appreciate and respect. I also like that he recommends using original parts instead of inferior after market parts so many other places use. He found a few other issues and took care of them without even a second thought. Disappointed since I was quoted a price of $99.0 for the back glass repair and expected to pay that amount. I was told the quote was for the screen not the back glass. I showed them the Yelp message I sent and said there back cracked. He told me he didn't see it and that Yelp sometimes doesn't show the whole message... what a crap. Other repair shop quoted me lower or same price and noted that it was for the back glass. Either this shop is a liar or telling the truth but I can't recommend someone like this. Go to the other repair shops. I showed the other repair quotes to the front personnel and the message from YELP and the explanation was some messages don't get through. And the message was clear on my end "back of phone cracked". It was the message from the shop which was vague. Yes I accepted the price quoted since I was already in the shop and didn't want to go drive again to another repair shop. So it's a YELP problem since the shop said the message was incomplete while other shops saw and read it. I included all the price quotes from other shops for everyone to see. The repair shop did a good job though but will not be a repeat customer or recommend it to others. read more

They were the cheapest quote I received out of all the tech repair places I reached out to, plus they gave a $10 discount for Yelp! They honored their quote and didn't try to weasel any bogus prices in. I had an iPad Pro screen replaced, which has the pro motion display. They used the right screen, it looks as sharp as ever and is still able to do 120Hz. They didn't just use any cheap replacement display.
