I had a few serious complications when transferring service from my previous carrier. It took a lot of time, effort, patience and knowledge to finally get it unraveled and sorted. Diana and Salma (Manager) were absolutely amazing through the entire process. It took 3 different days and roughly 3 hours each visit to identify the problem, troubleshoot with 3 different carriers on a conference call, explain thoroughly to me, present the solution, suggest temporary measures, assistance returning a phone, follow through with corporate processes, as well as having to follow up and they could not have been more professional, courteous and accommodating. As stressful and frustrating as this debacle was for me, they empathized and worked hard on its resolution. They made me feel like we were a team together, not as though I was a problem customer and they were corporate, if that makes sense. The long visits never felt that long and I would leave the store with confidence and trust that they 'had my back'. I was very close to just cancelling the transfer and retreating to my prior carrier but did not do that as a direct result of these two stellar employees. My experience took three hours. I had purchased the 17 Mac Pro Max by accident. The person helping me knew it was for my daughter on vacation in Es York.. I'm in San Diego. My daughter had her old phone and I had purchased an upgrade for her. The person who helped me told me it is 55$ restocking fee. Then went into the back, returned the phone and went ahead to purchase new phone for daughter She then informed me my daughters phone could not get messages or calls now... she needs to wait for new phone to be sent. If you are working at a phone store and someone is upgrading it would be clear you don't inactivate current phone. It took about two additional hours to get current phone to work. I spoke to manager, sent him 3 emails. No reply. Manager Ray. Employee ( very very kind and sweet but incompetent. Reccomended that I don't go ahead and try to upgrade to the phone I wanted.. because it was too confusing and may cause more problems. I was completely misled by a salesperson and then left confused and overcharged over $150! I went to purchase a phone and was talked into a completely unnecessary 4th line because the salesperson lied and said it "wouldn't cost extra." I recently visited the AT&T store located at 2883 Jamacha Rd. and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of some staff members and Store Manager. I expected to receive helpful and courteous service, but instead, I encountered a lack of professionalism, dismissive attitude, impatience, poor communication, rude behavior, immature responses, and the list goes on. For example, store manager Collin Schultze, was very rude and dismissive, the first thing he said to me wasn't hello sir how may I help you or what seems to be the issue? It was "sup". For a manager this is unacceptable. This experience has not only caused frustration but also diminished my confidence in the level of customer service provided at this location. I believe that respectful and knowledgeable interaction is essential for a positive customer experience, and I hope AT&T will address these concerns to improve staff training and service standards. Good Afternoon! First and foremost, As a valued customer, I would always expect Great Customer service, at any Business establishment. However my experience today was unimaginable when I visited this store location, speaking to one of the representatives in regards to the Next up anytime upgrade that i originally signed up for when trading in my iPhone for the Galaxy z fold 6, that was offered by the representative last year, back in July 2024. Days later, my wife found out that they had added all 4 phone lines, for this promotion, the representative spoke with their Manager whom was in the back office at the store, which I believe, was very unprofessional of the manager, whom should have came out of the back of the office to address the concern matter, instead of passing along messages back and forth between the representative and my wife and I. When my wife originally spoke with the representative online and over the phone, when they noticed and identified their 'Error' on there end, all of a sudden it was now a policy, that they stated they had to go by a 90 day policy, to request any corrections or changes made to our original contract. In today's society one must ask what has really happened to Customer Satisfaction Services, I am in so much disappointment and disbelief, and we wonder why 'AI' Will be taking over sooner than we think. Nothing against their employees their only doing exactly what their allowed to do. But AT&T bar none is the worst Company I've ever delt with in 6 decades of my life. Horrible Customer relations. No direct customer contact on important issues. All transactions and communication are done either by Ai or email. I actually talked to three supervisors they to are very limited. I visited the Rancho San Diego AT&T retail store because I was experiencing issues with my cellular I-Phone regarding the cellular phone freezing when attempting to make urgent telephone calls and the inoperability of my cell phone to receive work-related and personal emails that have been linked through my cellular phone for many years. Upon my explaining of these significant issues to Ms. Diana Monge, Retail Sales Consultant, she asked if she could view my cell phone and of course I concurred. She took the time to review, and trouble shoot, and identify the issues in 15 minutes through her superb technical expertise and explained the steps and procedures that she initiated to update my cellular phone and reactivate my personal emails that are crucial for me while I'm in my office and require my immediate access to resolve numerous work-related urgent matters. I was thoroughly impressed with Ms. Monge's exceptional technical knowledge and expertise that led to restoring my competence in AT&T and has led me to continue being a loyal customer of AT&T along with my spouse. Allen does it again!! He was super helpful adding a line to my service with a number transferring from T-mobile. It seems any task is difficult dealing with phone carriers but Allen was so helpful patient and professional in getting the task done. A few months back I was having a difficult time with my account, I was in the store multiple times for 30-60 min each time. I would encounter a road block and have to come back. Finally I was told there was nothing else they could do, I was told this by management. Honestly I don't think the manager even looked at the issue because when I asked to see him I was told he was on a break. As I was leaving I saw Allen whom helped me before, I explained my situation and he was able to help me. Allen has amazing problem solving skills! It's difficult to give these agents even one star. From the moment we walked in, the clerk we dealt with didn't know much about their services and products. When my husband explained to her that her product knowledge is limited, her male Colleague jumped in and told my husband Verizon store was next door. The level of customer service was non existent and instead of keeping a 20 plus years of loyal customer, he pushed us out the door. Before leaving we addressed our issue with the manager, Michael Reves. He just said ok. Didn't offer to explain what we came in for but just said ok and gave us his card. I recently visited this AT&T store to upgrade my aging mobile phone. When I first walked into the store I was greeted by Jennifer, the assistant manager, who got me started until one of the store sales specialist was available. Julio ended up being who helped me decide on the best phone to fit my needs. In the end, I bought a great quality phone, my monthly bill went down by $10, even with receiving unlimited text and a huge upgrade on my max data transfer. Julio was patient, had a good sense of humor, and in end helpful. He also place the protective covering on my phone for me. I also spoke to Jennifer a few times to hash out a few things and she was receptive and helpful, even when I was being an ass, so to speak or an aggressive customer, trying to get the best for my interest. No doubt, this one of the better AT&T stores I've been to, because I have been to some, where I have been completely ignored. read more

When did calling or going to an AT&T store become a 4-6 hour form of mental torture? It's now the equivalent of buying a car. Both have earned the reputation of shadiness and horrible customer service. Should be a rather short and simple exchange in either case... but instead I'm left with a ruined and wasted day and a sense of rage that is hard to subdue. You know what horrifically hard request I made? To add an Apple Watch to my already existing cell phone plan. It's $10/month. I've now stated "you can't find it on my plan because I'm here to do just that... TO ADD IT TO MY PLAN" 67477446 times. I am signing up to pay them MORE per month and it's like I asked them to solve world hunger. Then they have the balls to try and upsell me at the end. If ANY other provider offered service where we lived, I would change. But I'm stuck. So do yourself and favor and go elsewhere! Anywhere! read more

Liz took care of our trade in for us. The entire time at the store it felt like watching grass grow. I am a little hard of hearing which is one of the first things I tell people, when communicating is important to me. Liz left the table, went to talk to someone across the store, every 3 to 4 minutes and never said why?? When she did try to talk she mumbled. I told her 3 or4 times that I was having trouble hearing her, as we we're leaving her last parting remark was "oh maybe I should speak up" Thank you, that I heard just fine! Not flaming the store but AT&T customer service. Horrible is too kind. I have been going nuts trying to pay my bill. They lost the records of two months payments, $274 a month. I do electronic transfers. It worked great until it didn't. My bank would message me that they were putting the payment back in my account. Then I started get checks made out to AT&T from Wells Fargo. I called them and another waste of good oxygen. I have made multiple times and talked to supervisors: clueless. Yesterday I received a letter that said that the statement I received showing a balance of zero was an error and a new letter would be in the mail. I have sent emails with my payment records the "trace numbers" that they ask me to have my bank fax to them. Mission Fed said no way. So I have given them the information twice on the phone and in an email. No response. I called them to make sure that I was no longer a customer and wished to settle my bill. Around $500. They kid said they would call me today. Nope! Absolutely the worst bunch of air heads I have ever encountered. AT&T sux! read more

I drive a good distance to come to this store. We're talking several years of going to this store. It's the service. If you schedule an appointment AHEAD of time, you won't have to wait. We've seen the same person, over several years, probably 5 times. Consistently quick, explain things in detail, respectful and friendly. Their overall rating is low. Let me just address that. Buying a phone takes a lot of STATE REQUIRED paperwork, and system updates. Because you were over at Albertsons and gonna buy some Fritos and NOW you want to get the latest phone and don't want to wait... Your poor planning. A little work, and your experience will be solid. In 5 years of going to this store: we have 1) Always walked off with the product we requested. 2) Never been over charged, or billed incorrectly. 3) Left with complete understanding of what we signed up for. 4) Often a better deal than we planned. While my transition to AT&T has been rocky this store has been excellent to deal with. I did my initial transaction online and had some issues with my order (to my own fault) but Flor and her team helped to unravel my mess. Flor is knowledgeable about all products/services, makes herself available for questions and is very personable. She went above and beyond for me more than once when I had major issues while dealing with phone agents. If it wasn't for her extraordinary customer service and friendliness I would still be running in circles talking to online AT&T agents. Like all AT&T stores, they have this check-in system which appears great, until you get to a store that isn't employed with competent managers. In this particular store: if you want to just return an item, you must also check in which puts you in line with people who are most likely getting new phones, which we all know the process and bullsh****ng with the employees can create this situation from a stop to an event. ANYWAY: my point is this: seriously, this store is not efficient. The person that checks people in most times are standing there or cracking jokes (that's what I see when I'm a customer in there). While they provide great personalized customer service, for customers that are just coming in to just purchasing a case or a watch or returning an item shouldn't have to wait 45-60 minutes to just get rung up read more

A mixed bag of customer service for me today at this location, let me explain... I went into the store because every month since I signed up with ATT I have had one issue or another with my billing. I was in the store a while today and was having GREAT CS from Rod who was being detailed but then when we had to reach out to Flor (manager) to look at my erroneous billing and credit my account because the discounts I am supposed to see wasn't showing up, therefore, my bill showing way higher than it should be. I think she was upset because I had been asking Rod several questions about my bill and had been in the store for a while. In addition to my billing, I wanted to find out/figure out how to unbundle my services and then I plan to leave ATT. When I signed up for the bundle service I was lied to by a rep who knocks on doors to get you to sign up - his name was Kenyata Martin. The Tech guy who installed my Direct TV was name Chris and they both turned out to be liars. Kenyata lied about a lot of things on my account which is mostly why I am having so many issues with this account. Anyway back to this store and Flor - All she had to do was apply the discount to my account after the 1.5+ hours I had been in the store and I would have been happy (for this month). She barely looked at my account he had pulled up and when she did, she attempted to tell me that the discount was "pending" which it was not. They both saw how and when the discount had been credited to my account each month soon after the bill is sent (I usually get a text saying the credit happened) since I started, but had not been applied for this month. It has always applied a week after the main bill is sent. Its been over 2 weeks now and its not showing my credit there at all. Instead of her taking care of the discount with an override she tried to tell me it was pending. When I looked at the screen, nothing showed pending on the screen regardless of how she kept pointing at it - smh. Then she tried to tell me after that lie, that if it doesn't apply before it was due, then I would be credited twice next month. Seriously Flor?! No! You know that was lie #2. I have called into ATT every month (multiple times some months) and this month I wanted to go in and speak to someone to see if it was a better experience. Basically, I got the same or worse run around from Flor as I did/do on the phone. NOW, I have to go ahead and do the CS phone dance again anyway. My initial thought was that it was going to be great to speak to reps in person. By the time I left the store I was just as irritated as when I have to call in and spend hours on the phone with CS reps in another country. My interaction with Flor at this location turned into the same. She didn't appear to me to be a 10 year ATT employee. By the time I left I still with the same EXACT issue that I went into the store with. I can't wait to get rid of ATT. Sidenote: These cell companies think people will want to sign up for auto-pay so they can overcharge you and once you auto pay it you'll never see that chargeback. Autopay for $10 off a month is nothing compared to how much potentially that they will over charge you at their discretion. I wanted to give 4 stars to Rod. He didn't help me with my billing, but he was very nice and pleasant to speak with. But, because Flor basically ignored my concerns, I had to go with only 2 star rating. read more
