Really hate to do this, but after I got my wedding cake delivered, my cake topper was made incorrectly and I tried texting the cake shop to let them know and see if a part of it could be remade, but I was ghosted and got no responses after a few messages. During the whole process from the time I ordered my cake to delivery was great, but as soon as I tried telling her she made a part of the cake topper incorrectly, NO RESPONSE. Would not order from this shop again or recommend it to anyone looking for things to be 100% done correctly for their wedding cake. read more

I was left speechless with the cake, I don't even know where to begin!! I received my birthday cake from SweetArt Creative Baking as a surprise from my husband and I was amazed. I took it to work and all of my fellow nurses were amazed with the quality of the cake, best tasting cake ever, yummy. The creativity of the SweetArt Creative Baking left all of us speechless. It was shaped as a nurse with nursing uniform, wowww. The inside of the cake was so tasteful, the cake was gone in matter of minutes (but everyone did enjoy at least couple of pieces:) Well, I guess the name tells it all and the company sure can carry the name SweetArt Creative Baking with pride. You have to try it to believe it. I will definitely be back for MORE!!!!! read more

Nermana and this bakery was a lifesaver for me. I got dropped by another bakery at the last minute and was scrambling to find a bakery with 72 hours left to the baby shower that I was hosting. After calling around to a few places, I spoke to her and she was not only helpful but was very accommodating with all my requests. The cake she made was exactly like the picture I sent to her and it tasted great as well. I had also requested cake pops and cupcakes which she accommodated as well. I would definitely user Nermana and her bakery again in the future. read more

Nermana is AMAZING. I found her shop last year when looking for a wedding cake, cupcakes and cookies vendor, and I couldn't be happier. Nermana is a true professional: from 1-2 conversations, she knew exactly what we wanted and needed minimal followup. On the day of the wedding, I didn't get a chance to see her or say hello, but when I saw the cake and dessert table, I was so pleased with how they came out. Additionally, all of our desserts were completely 100% CLEARED by the end of the night, which I don't think I've ever seen at a wedding before! We had multiple guests come up to us and let us know we had the best desserts they'd ever had at a wedding, and that is a true testament of Nermana's work! read more

My daughter recently celebrated her Sweet 16 with lots of friends and a big party. After doing my fair share of searching I found Sweetart Creative Baking. My daughter had requested a marbleized look for her cake. That particular look is usually done with fondant but not being a fan of fondant we asked if it could be done in buttercream. They told us they hadn't done it in buttercream before but assured us they would figure it out. They did not disappoint. The cake was beautiful! It was exactly what we were hoping for. Not only was it beautiful but it was delicious! The cake was moist, the strawberry filling was perfect, and the buttercream was light and airy. We were very impressed. I would definitely recommend this little cake shop! read more

I didn't plan well for my daughter's sweet 16 Party. After calling around to a few places and finding that everyone was booked, I made the fortunate call to Sweetart. Nermana to the rescue! I described over the phone what my daughter wanted, a Red velvet cake decorated to look like a Tiffany's box. When I went to pick it up I was blown away, it was beautiful and perfect! When we got home and ate it, we realize it was also totally delicious! Sweetart will be our first and last call next time! Thanks Nermana! read more

I was very excited to find a place that made gluten free cakes and cupcakes but unfortunately the service was less then satisfactory. I ordered my son's birthday cake from here and exchanged messages back and forth about design and price. I was told it would be done by a certain time on the day before the party. I went in to pick up my cake just to be told that they had forgotten to make it. They didn't even remember the conversation we had until I showed them text messages we had exchanged of all the info. They then said sorry and it Could be done the next day when I have the party scheduled. I explained that it would be too late by then and that even if they delivered it would not make a difference. I am beyond disappointed and now have to scramble to figure out something for my 5 year old's birthday. Very irresponsible!!! read more

I had my sons 5th birthday cake made by Nermana. It was a huge hit for his birthday party, all the children and adults LOVED it! Not only is she super talented, she is also very thorough on communication, very kind and very detailed. My son loves Nutella (what child doesn't? Lol) so we had marble cake with nutella filling and it was SO delicious! I highly recommend her, she is reasonably priced and her reviews state the obvious. Thank you Nermana! read more

I have to say I had high hope for my daughters first birthday cake. Nermana was great at responding to my emails. However, upon receiving the cake was rather a disappointment. The fondant pieces made for the cake were so heavy it sunk into the buttercream. I had called to let her know, she began reasons why it had sunk was from the car ride. My sister who had picked up the cake saw it started to sink slightly at the bakery and asked if it would be okay. She was assured it would be. I was advise to either bring it back so she could fix it or to fix it myself with a wet knife. I never once received an apology. I have also requested a chocolate mousse filling but just received more meringue buttercream between the layers of cake. Will look else where in the near future for celebration cakes. read more

I was in the area on business and had the delight to try a red velvet cupcake with cream cheese frosting. It was just wonderful! The cake was well textured and the frosting was light, fresh, creamy and not overly sweet which I find most frosting to be. I loved working with Nermana on this cake! I shared the idea of a Minions cake (thanks to Pinterest) and she was gracious to do it! Her daughter got a girl version of the cake too! I asked for chocolate with Oreos filling. I paid for 2x 8 inches round cake which was used to create the minion. The cake was more than enough to feed my guests (and we have probably more than 60% left after giving away some). The cake was gorgeous! We got lots of oohs and aahs and where did you get that made? The cake and filling itself was a bit unsweet for my taste. But I served it with chocolate ice cream so that worked out OK. Overall, very pleased with the service and the work of art! read more

Delicious, Pretty & Affordable! Sweetart provided a beautiful, small two-tier cake and dozens of mini cupcakes for my wedding in June. Nermana was super helpful in working with my husband and me to figure out the exact cake and cupcakes for our wedding day. We decided on a small two-tier cake with a faux bottom tier (saving us money and avoiding wasted/uneaten cake!) for the bride and groom and an assortment of mini cupcakes for guests. The price for everything, including on-site delivery, was super affordable, so that was a huge plus! The customer service at Sweetart was also excellent (quick email responses, availability for phone calls to discuss flavors and design, and a walk-in cake tasting). In the end, everything looked pretty and tasted delicious (our guests loved the cupcakes)! #redvelvetforthewin Thanks again, Nermana and Sweetart!! read more

I have never been so disappointed in a bakery in my whole life, what was such a surprise was it was so good before, but was years ago and different owners! I walk in yesterday, which was a Monday, and they were closed! I started ordering things to take to a friend, then she tells me,"we are really closed, but it's ok,i will wait on you anyway". I sure wish she had locked the door and not let me in! My friends were so excited to eat the cakes! So disappointing, i even threw mine away, have never throw away cake in my entire life!!! Just don't stop,go to a good bakery, even Safeway is better than this and they are retail!!! Can't believe this place has good days and real bad days. Should be more consistent or at least, average day to day! Would never ever recommend! I see from other reviews that they are much, much, better baking cakes instead of small cakes and cupcakes! They should stick with whole cakes!!! But wont ever try as the walk in products were awful!!!!!!!!!! read more

Delicious cakes, amazing decorations, wonderful experience, excellent service! We decided to do a cake decorating party for my daughter's 11th birthday. Her birthday fell on a Monday (during Summer break), the day Sweetart is normally closed. Not only was the owner incredibly accommodating with all our requests, she delivered the cakes to our house, all packaged up, boxed and perfectly organized. She has brought all imaginable decorating appliances and supplies - fondant, buttercream, frosting, shapes, cutters, rollers, trays, matts - anything you can find in a professional cake decorating shop. There were enough tools for each girl, and they were thrilled to work on their creations. The cakes were delicious too! We also ordered a custom cake for the party - in the shape of a Harry Potter book. The OOOHHHs and AHHHHHHs from the crowd said it all! And tasty too!!!!! We loved everything about our experience and will definitely do this again. This is my new go-to cake shop in Pleasanton. read more
