Walked into the bakery today with my 16-year-old and, for the second year in a row, they asked for ID to verify the birthday coupon. Which is completely reasonable for anyone with common sense, if you're getting something free, expect to prove you qualify for it. We were treated politely and respectfully the entire time. I'm an African American man, and not once did I feel singled out or mistreated. What's actually sad is watching people try to tear down a good business because they're angry they couldn't scam a free $6 cake. Some of these complaints sound less like "bad customer service" and more like entitlement. Businesses are allowed to verify promotions. That's not discrimination, that's basic fraud prevention. So thank you to Nothing Bundt Cakes for continuing to offer a generous birthday gift while still having standards in place. Apparently asking adults to show proof of birthdate is now controversial. read more

The next day after I posted my review: immediately a stranger sent me a 'compliment' saying we were lying about the birthday system. If we do, will I post it here? Ambiance maybe nice and food is too sweet. Customer service was definitely not the friendliest. I bumped into a friend inside the store who was a Caucasian lady, completely different experience: she was greeted once she walked into the store. read more

The lack of customer service was so bad at this location. We arrive at 6:40 PM, 20 minutes before closing. There are 3 people standing behind the counter, doing nothing with no other customers in the shop. I asked for different flavors of the Bundt cakes that we ordered. Then they all looked at each other in confusion and looked at me with a blank stare. One lady then takes our box and goes in the back. Immediately she comes back out and says, "too late, they are cleaning up now". If the store hours are until 7 PM, then they should continue to help customers until 7 PM. read more

Nothing Bundt Cakes is my absolute go-to for every event and holiday, and ordering ahead on their website makes it so easy and convenient. The customer service in-store is always friendly and helpful, which makes picking up an order just as easy as placing it. I love that they have their classic flavors but also rotate in fun additional flavors, so there's always something new to try. Honestly, my kids don't even want cupcakes or a traditional birthday cake anymore--they specifically ask for Bundt cakes! We've been coming back for every celebration, and it's become one of those family traditions we wouldn't want to celebrate without. It's a really cute location, and they have lots of add-ons in the store. My children have forced me to buy a unicorn candle. read more

For my birthday all I wanted was nothing bundt cakes. So I stacked up on some classic and new flavors. For the first time, I tried the peach cobbler cake and it was fabulous. It's sweet but not overbearing. I also tried the white chocolate raspberry for the first time, and that is another one that will be in my rotation. read more

Okay. In general... Cakes are delicious. Flavors are what they say they are; some are not as dense in flavor as they can be. This review is not location based but I am writing this review at this location because I purchased the reviewed product here. I purchased the small raspberry lemon Bundt cake because hey limited edition! I guess I unintentionally conducted an experiment. I kind of forgot this half eaten Bundt cake on the shelf. Two weeks later, the icing is dried and the cake is dried. Zero mold. Zero black specks. Zero white fluff. This to me screams TONS OF PRESERVATIVES. If I left out my baked goods using all natural ingredients...for certain they will mold. I am spooked. read more

I picked up the cake I ordered for my wife's birthday today. The side of the cake was cut (see picture). We had to double check if there was a bite on the cake since there was a cut. It was awful and embarrassing to my guests. Unfortunately, we didn't see it until we were ready to put the candle on the cake. We have been a loyal customer of Nothing Bundt Cake for many years starting from their old location. Never again. Very disappointing. read more

Nothing Bundt cakes are always yummy!! It is great that they always have a lot of cakes available so it makes a quick pick up easy! The cream cheese frosting is my favorite because it is not too sweet but it is delicious. Prices are good for a large bundt cake in terms of what the grocery store cakes are as well. Can't go wrong with any flavor! read more

It's disappointing that many of these independent businesses have evolved into a simply outrageous cost v benefit proposition. $46 for a simple 8" Bundt cake? A few years ago it was $36 and even then it was questionable value for that pricepoint. Now, if that weren't enough, they expect you to pay an extra service charge to help pay for their technology??? Really? That was a hard NO for me. I exited out of my order and went to Whole Foods where you can still get a great quality chocolate cake for $37.99. Unfortunate because NBC used to have something special. Now I feel they are doomed like many other retail businesses. Lose the service charge!!!! You charge $46 for a simple basic cake!!!!! Isn't that enough???? Apparently not. read more

Went by for a snack while my tire was getting patched. Bought a small cake for $6.75 and asked for a fork. "If we handed out forks we'd have to pass the cost on and we don't want to do that to you". I love the spin where their cheapness (about 4 cents per fork when purchased in bulk) is a favor they're doing me while charging nearly $7 for a tiny snack. read more

Was gifted a cake and it was so fresh. Many have tried their cupcakes at parties and all the flavors but there's nothing better than a huge cake. Due to excitement, slices were taken before the photo attempt. This was the mint flavor and it was pretty strong yet still tasty with the frosting. Staff are nice and you can order online with plenty of locations around the bay. The stores are clean and well decorated and they also deliver. This is always a favorite place to pick up goodies for work events or birthday celebrations!

Zero if I could. They were closing and Gina was super rude and impatient. I felt like she kept rushing me to decide on what I wanted. I asked if I could chose my assortment and her response was no we are close in two minutes. If I walked in the establishment before you close good customer service is to attend to your customer not rush them to get them out the door. I would have purchased more but after Gina's horrible service. I wanted to get out of there as fast as she wanted to close the store! read more

Londyn at Nothing Bundt Cakes was so sweet and incredibly helpful! She gave me so much information and had such a positive attitude that made my visit even better. I originally wanted the Biscoff flavor, but since they didn't have it anymore, she recommended the Oreo bundt cake instead and it was SO good. I was honestly having a sad day, and her kindness and upbeat energy really made a difference. Great customer service from start to finish!! Thank you, Londyn and nothing Bundt staff! :) read more

This Nothing Bundt Cakes store is my go to for any and all of our bundlet cakes. It's tradition for our 'ohana and now expected by the hubz and our girls to have a Nothing Bundt Cakes for their birthdays. Our favorites are red velvet and confetti. We like lemon too. Their cakes are very moist and not too sweet. Also, we all love the frosting. Yummy. When we go to any family parties and they have bundtinis, my girls are excited. Normally, they won't eat any birthday cake at parties unless it's a bundtini. Omg and lol. read more

I bake a lot, so I don't usually buy store baked goods because, well, I prefer the taste and flavor of my cakes, tarts, brownies and cookies. There are only a couple places I think are worth paying for. Nothing Bundt Cakes is one of them! The Bundt cakes are so moist and have natural flavorings that taste great. (Some cakes from other places taste artificially sweet.) They're not overly-sweet, though the cream frosting is a tad too sweet for me, but not too sweet to devour! Whenever I get a NBC home, they never last past one day! Recently I bought 12 bundtinis (mini bite-size Bundt cakes) for one of my kids' birthday parties. I love that I could order them online, choose the flavors (and they can be any quantity per flavor), and indicate the time of pickup! The only downside is the price is pretty steep to me for the size cakes you get, but this doesn't impact my rating for them because I think they're worth it. I just reserve ordering for when it's a special occasion. read more

I was really looking forward to this Bundt cake, but I was disappointed with what I received. I wish I was able to switch it out but there apparently none was available. The cake was sunken into the container, which made it look sloppy and unpresentable. It makes me wonder why this particular one was chosen to give to a customer. I haven't made a visit in a while and decided to stop and satisfy my sweet craving. My mother's first visit to this establishment as well and I'm glad she made the suggestion. Frosting flavor was prefect with vanilla icing that did not melt away! I would recommend and always the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth! read more

I love their Bundt cakes, they are delicious, they have an assortment of flavors with a limited edition flavor of the month. When I went the featured flavor of the month was Reese's Chocolate Peanut Butter. The pop-up flavor that's available now is their gluten-free lemon raspberry. This pop-up flavor will be available till February 4, 2024. They offer bundtlets, bundtlet cakes, bundtlet towers, and a box of assorted bundtinis. The flavors they offer are chocolate chip, confetti, red velvet, snickerdoodle, white chocolate raspberry, strawberries and cream, lemon, classic vanilla, and carrot. My favorite and go to is the red velvet it's soo good. If you're on their email list they send out BOGO deals throughout the year and they have a punch card after so many purchases you receive a free bundtlet. read more

I love to swing by this shop for a last-minute celebration surprise! The packaging is super cute and perfect for gifting. You can also add decorations to make it even more special and personalized. Personally, I prefer the bundtlet (around 4" across) and the bundtini (around 2" across) sizes as opposed to the full size bundt cake. More opportunities for a variety of flavors! Note: bundtinis must be ordered in quantities of 12, for $25. All the flavors are good. Red velvet is probably my favorite. My husband loves the confetti, which has that oddly specific "birthday cake" flavor that we all fondly equate to childhood birthdays. But honestly, no matter what flavor you get, it'll be delicious, because the frosting is soooo good. It's light and not too sweet or overpowering. These cute little cakes aren't cheap, but worth the splurge! read more

I bought a tower bundt cake which comes with 3 smaller bundt cakes for my brothers birthday a few weeks ago in July. I ordered online and paid online and it was easy transaction. I ordered 3 different flavors. Red velvet bundt, Key Lime bundt and Lemon Bundt. The cakes were tasty and soft but very rich and sweet. The frosting on top was extra sweet so much that we could barely eat it. Red velvet was the most rich and overpowering. The cream cheese frosting was a bit too overpowering and overly sweet. We could barely eat a few bites before needing to stop. Lemon flavor was not too sweet but I would have liked to taste more of the lemon flavor come through. Key lime was my favorite. Key lime had the perfect balance of acidity from the lime flavor and sweetness. This was everyone's favorite. The only caveat is that their Key Lime flavor is seasonal only and limited time flavor. Hopefully they make it permanent I called in to ask about my order and the customer service was great and the staff was helpful and kind. Their store is in a small plaza easy to find. The inside was cute and nicely decorated. They sell various party related items such as cards, cute decor items and more. I still think the bundt cakes are a cute idea and they are very presentable and beautifully packaged. The 3 small bundt tower option is really cute and I may consider buying it again for other celebrations. read more

Everybody likes Nothing Bundt Cakes , right? My kids love them!!! I usually get one small Bundt cake and bundtinis for their bday parties. They choose the flavors they want. We all have our own favorite flavor and we love trying the limited seasonal flavors. My favorite is and always has been the white chocolate raspberry - yummm! My newly 12 year old naturally loves the red velvet & my newly 9 year old loves confetti , vanilla and recently fell in love with the lemon ! So many yummy flavors. I was shocked at the lack of customer service at this location. The staff woman was more concerned with clocking out and locking the doors than serving customers even though their posted hours showed they were open for several more minutes. Came to buy a dozen cupcakes for my daughter's preschool class at around 2pm today. She specifically wanted chocolate, red velvet, confetti and lemon, which are their normal flavors. I was told that it will take 20 minutes. Store was rather empty, someone was literally checking out before me and then it was my turn. I asked it's really going to take 20 minutes? Answer was yes. So I paid and went back to the car where my white husband was waiting. When I told him what was going on, he looked at me liked I had 3 heads. We sat there for like a minute and I said, well, let's go in and maybe things will change with you with me, I am Asian female. We walked in, all 3 employees standing chitchatting and asked how they could help and my husband responded "waiting in our order." Then one of them slowly walked to the back and started putting our order together and in less than a few minutes was back with our order. Now, this place is not cheap, it's $34 for 12 tiny cupcakes. But to be told to wait 20 minutes because employees just want to take their sweet ass time is really irritating. I can understand if it's on a weekend and they have tons of people and orders to fill.
