Birthday cake photo. We got the exact finishing and flavors we had asked for. Great work by Sunol and team.

Nice panipuri and bakery items. The desserts and snacks are great. Our go to place when we crave for panipuri.

We ordered a custom cake for our daughter's second birthday and the service was exceptional. Cake turned out to be exactly how we wanted it to be and the taste was outstanding. Everyone at the party loved it. ( we got mango and pineapple flavors for our two tier cake)

I've known about Cakes and Bakes for years now because my aunt always gets their eggless mango cakes for our family events. For our wedding in May 2021, my husband and I just knew we had to get our wedding cake from them. My aunt gave me the Alex's number, he's the head baker, but it was very difficult to get a hold of him and we had a little back and forth over a two week span. Finally my husband I made the time to go to the store and talk to him directly and finally place our order. Coming into the store ended up being a good idea because we got to taste test a few flavors before finalizing on our 3-tiered cake. We knew we wanted an off white cake with flowers, but left all creative control up to Alex . They took a 30% deposit and finalized the time that they would drop off the cake during our reception party. On our wedding day, the cake turned out gorgeous. It was as beautiful as we expected and tasted great. Our guests loved that the cake had fun Indian flavors like mango and pistachio, but still had an elegant and classy look on the outside. We managed to save the top tier of the cake and froze it, hoping it tastes just as great when we take it back out for our one year anniversary.

Great cake from cakes and bakes. We had ordered a pokemon chocolate cake for our son's 9th birthday and it was awesome both taste wise and decoration. Would highly recommend to order cakes from here.

Got pani poori from the live stand and was not very impressed with the flavor of the filling. The poori were good. The service was good and quick like a live stand should be. Howe for the price of $11.50 expect more quality on the filling.. the quantity is fine.

I ordered bombay sandwich and I got this sandwich with spinach and without any sauces or Chutney or cheese. Sandwich was very blend, just bread and veggie. I don't understand how they can say its bombay sandwich, Subway sandwich its better than this.

Cakes & Bakes is the best and our go to place to order Indian flavor cakes. It's so amazing that they look good and taste heavenly at the same time. Badam milk, Kesar pista, Mango, Butter scotch are few of our fav flavors from C&B. We recently ordered a 2 tier cake for a birthday party. Thank you so much Alex for making such a wonderful looking and great tasting cake. It's a showstopper at the party for sure. All my guests loved it. I'm so happy that you listened patiently to all my requirements & changes. Phenomenal work I will be ordering more cakes in future

We got the buttercream bread, sweet rice donut, chocolate cloud cake, milk cornet, and the strawberry milk bread. For drinks we got the red velvet hot cocoa and the caramel macchiato. The buttercream bread was my absolute favorite out of the bunch. The butter cream wasn't too sweet and the bread was sooo soft. The ratio of cream to bread was just right, so each bite of bread had a sweet balance of the fluffy cream. The sweet rice donut was okay. To be, it could have been more softer, but it was expected for it to go stale a little bit since it's been out lying for a while. Some things are just unavoidable. The chocolate cloud cake was really good, but there was so much cream. Unlike the buttercream bread, there was imbalance here, but I adored the giant strawberries sandwiched between the cream. The consistency of the actual cake was perfect though, because sometimes I know it can get really soggy from the cream. Next time I would give another cake a try instead. The milk cornet was great! Tried it out because it seemed really popular; there was only one left. This pastry like a croissant stuffed with milky cream. The cornet was perfectly crunchy and the milk cream wasn't too sweet. Next time, I want to give the blueberry version a try. The strawberry milk bread impressed me. It was super soft, and I like how there was a really small amount of cream. Like, I understood what the cream was trying to do there. One bite of just bread would be pretty dry, but a little bit of cream can help smooth things out but still keep the spotlight on the bread. The red velvet hot cocoa drink was what surprised me the most. I suppose this drink is Valentines day edition, so it's not always here. I was so surprised when I opened the lid and saw hot pink foam! Like, DANG! Tous les jours really went out of their way to give us a sip of Valentines day! This drink is on the sweeter end, though. A friend said that the caramel macchiato was just okay, nothing surprising or impressive about it. I guess it was a safe order. The baristas were really efficient with our drinks; both drinks took five minutes or less! I love the interior of this bakery. So cute yet so easygoing. Perfect ambiance for catching up with some girlfriends!

What we tried: Honey Bear Latte ($6.25) - lightly sweet and comforting Almond Croissant ($7) - flaky with a generous almond filling Egg & Turkey Breakfast Bun ($6) - simple, savory, and satisfying Chouquette ($2) - light, airy, and the perfect little bite Kouign-Amann ($6.75) - crispy, caramelized, and buttery goodness Quiche Lorraine ($11.50) - rich and flavorful Chakchouka Croissant ($8) - a fun savory twist with bold flavors The space feels cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for brunch or a coffee break. If you know, you know. The pastries here are absolutely worth the detour--and honestly, wherever I see a Paris Baguette, I do pull over. That includes locations I've visited in Northern California, North Brunswick, New Jersey, Atlanta, Georgia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and even the one here in Charlotte down in Pineville. It's a bit of a drive for me, but when I'm in that area, I always make a point to stop in and pick up a couple of their delicious croissant-donut pastries and marzipan or almond croissants. That's the beauty of this bakery--it's a chain, yes, but the consistency is what keeps me coming back. I have yet to be disappointed. Of course, I had to stop at this Hilton Head location--and I didn't come empty-handed. Food connects people, and bringing pastries to your host is always a winning move. I picked up three different varieties of their famous croissant-donut style pastries (similar to the well-known cronut): * Chocolate * Tiramisu * Mango And I added two large almond croissants that were beautifully filled, flaky, and indulgent. Everything looked fresh, full, and irresistible. The setup inside is easy and efficient. It's self-serve: you grab a tray, line it with parchment, use the tongs, and select whatever catches your eye--from baguettes to cakes to coffee drinks. Checkout was quick, Apple Pay was accepted, and the whole experience felt smooth and well organized. The space was clean, friendly, and inviting, with plenty of outdoor seating. Bottom line: Whenever you see a Paris Baguette on your radar, pull over. It's dependable, delicious, and perfect for picking up pastries to share--or to treat yourself. For me, it's one of those rare places that delivers the same quality every single time, no matter the city--and that kind of consistency is something I truly appreciate as a traveler and lifelong foodie.
