Super baking biz located so close to us in downtown P'ton. The owner is friendly and listens to what you want. She created fun Diwali cookies for us in several fun shapes and festive colors and they came out looking super cute. They were individually wrapped and make for the most perfect favors.

The cupcakes also came out really good. I did red velvet for both the cake and the cupcakes. Both came out delicious, my only critique is that I think the frosting could have used more of a cream cheese flavor. Nonetheless, it was still delicious and everyone ate everything at the party! Nermana was super easy to communicate with and was very accommodating with my pick up date. I would definitely use her again!

Sweetart Bakery has been our "family baker" for a few years now. The best thing about the bakery is the consistency. The flavor and texture are always consistent. Her cakes are not overly sweet and are always moist. We stop by occasionally for cupcakes and cake pops, which are also great. The sugar cookies are delicious and she is open to working with you on the designs. You can also purchase the cupcakes and cake pops at Pizza Bello. Love the bakery and will continue to use them for our family celebrations and occasional treats.

I like that it's not too sweet. I loved the chocolate cake with caramel filling. I asked if we can make a small adjustment and do salted caramel filling. I appreciate that the cupcakes didn't go to waste and were discounted but the cupcakes tasted days old and were very dry, and didn't taste much different from standard grocery store bought ones. Cute shop with lots of yummy goodies! Everything looked beautiful and well decorated. At the time, there was a vanilla cake pop as their gluten free option which I decided to pass on. I was told they can make custom gluten free cupcakes or cakes if ordered beforehand. I had gotten a few cakes in cups for friends and they all thoroughly enjoyed them, especially the Marble flavor with the fluffy cream on top! Will definitely be back to get treates for friends and check out for new gluten free flavors! read more

I asked her to put strawberries and bananas in the cake. She only put strawberries and the strawberries were not fresh, they were frozen strawberries. We officially looked for strawberries in the cake, it was quite little. She had put whipped cream in the cake, had no cream. It is not right to charge $200 for this kind of cake, instead it makes sense to give 40$ from safeway and make a fresh cake. I will never choose this place again. read more

My experience with this bakery is through tgtg. I picked up a bag through the app, it was seamless and easy. The person helping me was super helpful and kind. I had an overall positive experience here. As for the baked items, I received "cupcakes." I don't know if these are normally part of their usual menu or rotation, as they seem popular with cakes. These aren't the usual cupcakes I expected, they seemed more like muffins with whipped topping. The frosting on top isn't buttercream or cream cheese frosting which are my favorite toppings for cupcakes. The whipped topping was fine, it was good. The cupcakes were actually very unique and not bad. It did remind me of a muffin though more than an actual cupcake. They were flavored and the topping reflected and complimented/matcher the cupcake part. I was actual impressed with the detail of that part. It wasn't too dry. It wasn't bad but I guess I was expecting something different for "cupcakes." read more

Picked up TGTG app order. It had 3 items- an iced cookie, a carrot cake in a cup, and a trio of mini cupcakes/muffins. I called them mini muffins because they were not iced and closer to muffin density instead of cake density. The flavors were strawberry, spinkle birthday cake, and chocolate chip. Located right off of Main Street in Pleasanton. Has its own parking lot. Local small business. Their main business is likely special occasion cakes. The shop itself is smaller and not like a coffee shop type of bakery with a lot of display cases, for example. Looks like they have alot of great reviews for their special occasion cakes! Go support a local small business. read more

The perfect cake!!! I placed the order few days before my son's first birthday party and Nermana was still able to accommodate it. The cake was an exact replica of what I wanted it to be. The taste was amazing and everyone in the party talked very highly about the cake. One of the comments were "Tastes very refreshing ". All my friends wanted to know where I ordered it from. Quality cake at an affordable price. I called around everywhere and Sweetart was the best priced in town. The owner exceeded expectations in communication, ease of ordering, contactless delivery and a beautiful & truly delicious homemade cake that looked straight out of a magazine! Nermana makes beautiful and tasty cakes. I have ordered cakes from her on two different occasions and both times the cakes came out beautifully. The first time I ordered a cake it was for my daughter's third birthday and we did a Moana themed cake. The most recent experience was a Unicorn themed cake for my other daughter's first birthday. It was so cute. I really love Nermana's work. Communication is extremely easy. Both times I stopped by her bakery and showed her what I want and make my deposit. I found Sweetart upon a recommendation of a friend who is a cake artist but couldn't make my sons cake. I was looking for an original train themed Thomas cake that I knew a regular bakery couldn't fulfill. From start to finish, Nermana was great at communicating with me about size options, pictures of cakes I liked online, and flavor options. Disappointing cakes considering the overall 5 stars on yelp. I had exchanged emails with her prior and I didn't know until after I scheduled an appointment with her that there was a fee for cake tasting. It was nowhere on the website. I didn't want to be rude, taking up her time with these emails and not showing up-- but $30 for 4 cake seems a bit much. And she should be the one trying to sell us the cake. I was confused because the website said $4.25 a slice but if we made an appointment, it was $7? When I asked about it, she said $4.25 was for walk ins. I should've just walked in, cuz it's the same cake! Really that's a rip off. With everything that we are already spending on the wedding it is ridiculous that people like this try to take more. We didn't need the "consultation" because I could've just bought the cake and emailed all my questions. I just don't get it. On top of the fact that these cakes were $7 a slice, it was disappointingly dry and flavorless. Sure the slice is big but I feel like I could've made better cake myself. They tasted the same, dry crumbly feeling, too much cream. My advice to people who still want to try, just do yourself a favor and walk in for whatever slice is there. Save yourself $3. read more

Had a simple cake and beautiful cookies made by Sweetart! They were so easy to communicate with and produced exactly what I had imagined. The cookies were so detailed and intricate. The marble cake was delicious and perfectly fluffy. My only feedback is the cheesecake frosting tasted more like regular buttercream than cheesecake. We had a slice the next day because I could not bear it any longer. Without lie this is the best pie I've had in years!!!! Years or even perhaps ever. It has to be realized that if there is Berry Pie of any kind on the menu it will be ordered even to go. There were actual whole berries, and it was not full of sugar like some pies. You can taste the natural fruit of summer, and the crust was perfection!!!! Now I have to wait for a Birthday to order a cake. I'm sure it will be divine!
