So it's been over 2 years since I've been to this place. I decided the smoothies were always good here. Unfortunately, I don't know if it's the help or supplies but the smoothie was terrible. I always got the Apollo smoothie - avocado, banana, Greek yogurt and honey. I didn't taste any banana or avocado. I could only taste the Greek yogurt. I also got a chocolate chip scone which was ok. It was a bit dry but more palatable than the smoothie, hence the two stars. I will not be back and I suggest you go at your own risk. I CANNOT believe I waited so long to come here! Places like Sweet Kitchen are what I look for to give 5 stars. I came in on a rainy Saturday morning on a whim and ended up having the best breakfast in a long time. I didn't exactly know what to anticipate coming here so I walked in looked at the menu which was up by the pastries and decided to get the mushrooms, spinach and feta cream. I don't often get crepe but I was definitely in the mood for this. The flavors were delicious and each night was better than last. It came with a small salad on the side which was the perfect compliment to the crepe. My mother ended up just getting an americano and the staff were very accommodating and helpful to make sure she had it made just right. The food came out shortly after we ordered and the young man helping the tables was excellent. He was there but when you needed him but not too much to compromise the experience of dining in. Did a quick stop for some gluten free and gluten filled baked goods. I'd venture to say there is cross contamination because gf items were next to gluten items in the same case. Nice little addition to Bloomfield Ave in Montclair. Located right on the corner of Park Street, the wife and I decided to to stop in while taking a walk. I must say the owner was very pleasant and engaging. Seemed very passionate about his creations as he explained. We selected a few different items and took them home. THE SERVICE: I'm not really a fan of the setup of the brunch store. You order at the counter and then find a seat and someone brings you your food. So I've only been here once but I did enjoy my experience. The Avocado toast was good and the bread they use, whatever it was, was so good. I think everything comes with a salad.
