First time going here. Cute restaurant in a strip mall. Food was good. When I said I need to be gluten free and have celiac disease the manager came out and talked with me. We're able to quick clean a section of the grill before making my food to help with cross contamination. I got a side of scrambled eggs with cheese and the hash browns. Very good for simple breakfast. Large portions. My friend got the classic breakfast with French toast and a side of gravy. Got a classic mimosa. They have several flavors to choose from. Will definitely return.

Walking in, the place immediately gave off good vibes--big, bright, and flooded with natural light. The décor is cute and quirky without trying too hard. It was early Sunday afternoon, so of course there was a wait, but it was short enough that my "hangry" didn't kick in. We got seated at a long, cafeteria-style table, which was fine because there was plenty of space. Our server was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and made good suggestions. But honestly, the food stole the show. Hands down, best brunch I've ever had in Gresham--maybe even top tier of my life. I went with the egg sandwich: eggs over medium, cheddar, and extra-crispy bacon on rye. The bacon was so perfectly crisp but not greasy. The sandwich was huge. Normally I'm not a hash brown fan, but I noticed they had a special with plantains, so I swapped them in. Best choice ever. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict, my son got the classic breakfast with a pancake. We all left impressed and very full. We will definitely be back!

Had breakfast at Sweet Betty's again over the weekend. One of my favorite breakfast spots in the PNW! Service Food: Positive Environment: Vibe! Great place to just hang out while having a great meal.

Sweet Betty's is always on point! Their specials are absolutely amazing and we are impressed every time. They are also really sweet, provide great service, and kid friendly.

Sweet Betty's is one of our favorite spots in Gresham for breakfast or lunch! I love, love, love their Tuna fish sandwich! I'm also a fan of their Chicken Caesar Wrap. Do not miss their Clam Chowder on Fridays too! It rivals those from the Pacific coast. Betty's has a fun atmosphere that we enjoy. Love to dine and support restaurants where everyone feels welcomed & Betty's is just that. It's a Gresham staple, and we are thankful it has survived trying times during COVID. Hoping it will be around for a long time.

Cinnamon French toast topped with a red wine poached pear (was a weekend special)

Sweet Betty's is by far the best breakfast spot in Gresham. The new owner is awesome. Raspberry swirl bread or cinnamon bread used for French toast and it's amazing. Staff is fab, feels like home

Great food, huge portions, friendly service. Fun atmosphere - like an anti-racist Cracker Barrel with better food.

Food went down hill after they moved. Their staff use to be so bubbly and nice now no one stands out or makes an effort. Too political.

Ask the Community - Sweet Betty's

Do they take reservations for groups of 20?

They don't take reservations. It's first come first serve.

So they allow dogs on the patio area?

They do, but when we went on a beautiful summer morning, they said that they "hadn't set up the patio because nobody requested it," so we had to leave our dog in the car. :-(

This location is also a bit small so not really suitable for big groups. We came on a Friday for lunch and there's only 1 kiosk so it takes a while for big groups to order and I don't think they have a person starting another order if it gets too busy. They were out of a couple of the drinks for the kids menu, which was okay because there were 2 other options. Not once did the staff interact with us or say hello to us. The wait time for the food was ok but the server basically ran and threw the food at our table without ever saying anything to us. I ordered a pork katsu sandwich and the pork was VERY dry. I also ordered it normal but when she threw it on the table, she mumbled something "it's not spicy" and but there was clearly some red powder on it and looked like my friend's sandwich that she ordered spicy. We went up to ask the girl and she said they accidentally put the powder on but it's not spicy and that was it. She didn't apologize or offer to exchange it. I think it's unacceptable behavior and I was in disbelief. They were also out of ketchup and we had a whole table of French fries with the kids meals... I have been to the other location a few times and the food and service was good as far as I can remember, but this location is horrible. I will never come back again and will tell all my friends and family about my experience. 2/9- I emailed the business owner like he requested but never got a reply. Don't need to tell me to reach out if you don't care to email back. Thanks.

We were surprised that this was a fusion restaurant and the empanadas had more of a Syrian twist Sambusek (so?). What luck to enjoy such delicious food. We started with the cauliflower cashew soup. It was rich, smooth and flavorful. The flatbread served on the side was warm and filling. We then tried the chicken tikka empanadas. Different from the Salvadoran styles we have tried in the past. It was full of mead that was moist but not greasy. I later found out that the beef empanadas and the cheese empanadas were more traditionally Syrian. They also were delicious and the dipping sauces were great. Lastly the Summer Salad was fresh, unique with candied pistachios, peaches, avocados and whatever else was fresh. The dressing was tasty. The owner was friendly, helped with suggestions and welcoming. We will definitely be back. I'm just sad that it is not located where we live in Sonoma County California. How does this location have such a low rating?! I stopped at Jimmy John's for the very first time…read moreduring Hood to Coast 2025 and it ended up being exactly what my team needed. Borderline hangry after finishing our first leg, we were searching for food (breakfast or lunch) only to discover most places didn't open until 11am. BUT Jimmy John's was open and that alone felt like a victory. Pulling our giant relay van into the lot, we were surprised to find that this particular location is what looks like an old converted gas station. Quirky but it honestly added to the fun and delirium. Once inside I ordered a #4 Turkey Tom with cheese and I swear the sandwich was made fresh before I even had a chance to pay. The efficiency here was mind-blowing and exactly what we needed mid-relay. The one thing that brought my rating down a star was the water situation. I grabbed a cup and after filling it up twice, I noticed some brown flecks floating around. I'm still telling myself it was just old soda syrup in the lines or something harmless but it was enough to be weary. Aside from that hiccup, it was a great experience. The employees working the morning of 8/22/25 were fast, friendly, and on top of it - if they're always here, then I don't know how people could complain about any wait times. Cody took my order and he was great. All in all, this stop turned out to be a happy, tasty, and speedy surprise during Hood to Coast.
