Worst coffee stand experience I've ever had. I came Friday around 5:30 PM and I was the only customer inside, yet I stood there for over 15 minutes while they served every single car in the drive-thru -- including customers who arrived well after me -- and they still didn't even start my drinks. After waiting that long, I asked for a refund because it was obvious my order wasn't going to be made until the drive-thru line was completely cleared. The response was extremely rude: "Refund for what?" When I explained I had been waiting 15+ minutes with no progress, I was told "We prioritize our drive-thru customers." What was I supposed to do? Stand there and wait until they had no more drive thru customers? On top of that, they didn't use the personal cup I brought and requested my drink be made in. I also watched them repeatedly use the same old 8oz to-go cup to pour shots, and it looked like it was deteriorating -- like they were reusing it to avoid cleaning. There were two employees, but only one seemed to be making drinks while the other appeared focused on closing tasks, and it felt like they were trying to rush through closing even though they still had customers. Both employees were extremely rude, and they were pointing and yelling at my husband and me as we drove away. (One of the employees had blue hair.) Yikes. Go to the country coffee place nearby instead -- we've always had great service there. Avoid this place at all costs. This stand seriously needs to reevaluate their service model. read more

Why did you start making Mocha's with commercial chocolate milk? Big difference in taste. I should NOT have to ask for it NOT to be made with chocolate milk you buy from the grocery store. Is should be made fresh, at the time of ordering! read more

I come here once a year. The one I always order is Caramel Blondie. It is sweet and has enough caffeine where it isn't lacking. But not too sweet for my taste. Enough flavoring in it to make it a delicious dessert. read more

Was running errands in this area and pulled through the drive-thru for a quick pick me up. It's a beautiful new building with lovely landscaping. Getting through was quick and easy. The drink (Matcha Chiller w/ whip cream) was good, if pricey, but a fun little treat. read more

I ordered a mocha coffee and a chai tea, both were lukewarm and lacked flavor, would not recommend this location

There are two girls that started working here at this location, I don't know their names but they are gorgeous girls, darker skin tone and such beautiful curly hair. Such a shame their attitude and personalities are so bland and rude. Every time I order they sound annoyed. I always order the same thing when I go and somehow something goes wrong. They don't say hello and they don't say anything when handing the drinks over. I am not sure if it's personal or they just hate their job. This is my home location so I usually see someone else working but now when I crave black rock I dread going to this location because they end up messing up my sugar free energizer somehow. Feels like it's almost out of spite! Usually I don't pay much mind to these things and never write reviews but holy Jesus I think it's happened about 6 times now in a row where they feel so cold and unwelcoming. read more

This is a great coffee shop and a convenient location. It's very clean on the inside and the baristas are on point. I haven't been to any of the other locations so this review is mostly for this spot. A lot of coffee shops are going to the button push espresso machines. Like Starbucks does. I feel there is something special about a real espresso machine hard at work in a coffee shop. Otherwise go to McDonald's or gas station for the push button coffee. After ordering my iced coffee I paid for it and was given my coffee. I took the lid off to taste it to check the flavors. There was no ice in my ice coffee. My barista was very kind- but someone came from behind her up to the window and said to me "well, it's cold." She had a mean look on her face. I asked her if they were out of ice. She said no. Then she said," I'm not giving you a free drink since you drank off that." I said I've already paid for it and I wasn't going to ask you for another drink. I hadn't even had a chance to talk to my barista. I would have asked her for a cup of ice. Finally, I asked my barista why this person was talking to me. Then that rude person said, "We are both your baristas!" I asked for an iced coffee. I would have asked for some ice to put in my cup. But this turned to into a whole thing. If BlackRock wants to let rude people work for them, that don't like their customers at all, and they allow employees to have 2 balls hanging out of their nose, I'll stay with Dutch Bros. BTW, I don't mind nose jewelry usually. But add that to a nasty employee and nasty treatment, and it's just too much to take. read more

I have been a loyal BR customer for many years. Unfortunately, every time I visit this specific location, my drinks are always made incorrectly. Today, we ordered and our order was repeated back to us at the speaker box correctly. When we received our drinks at the window, we were given the incorrect size and one was not made correctly. This is a great coffee shop. It is my favorite in Gresham for meeting people, and also for catching up on work or bringing my kids to do some school work. I love that they sell Jazzy Bagels, staff are friendly, seating is good, etc. The only thing keeping me from 5 stars are that the music volume can be a bit loud sometimes (though not always), and they do not have any for-here mugs (I hate to waste a disposable cup when I'm just staying there at their store). But all-in-all, it is a great coffee shop, and it is the place I find myself going to more than any other. read more

I've been coming to this specific location frequently last July since they have a cozy atmosphere to study in. I always get half caff or decaf. Today has been a while since I visited, and is one of the rare times I wanted my drink to be caffeinated. As I was finishing my order, the barista recognized me and asked "Oh, you usually order decaf or half caff, would you like any of those today?" And I think it's adorable that she went out of her way to make sure I just didn't forget. Small things go a long way, and the crew here is amazing enough to live up to that, keep it up! read more

If you want to get coffee here, might as well go home. I went to get coffee here and one of the people that worked here had a filthy attitude. Their coffee is decent, but the people here are just humiliating. You can just support yourself buying a breville machine and the syrups that are just as equivalent. It would be an investment. You could quite literally even just have energy cans and use syrups instead of going to this business that's using you for profit. Horrible!!!! I really wanted to like this place, but the gossiping baristas just ruined it. I could literally sit here and transcribe every single word, and, over the music I am listening to, as well. You have to interrupt teenage small talk and gossip to order a drink. A 'screen' asks a bunch of questions about a tip, after you slide your piece of plastic. It's all very superficial and impersonal. Such a dainty place inside with ample seating, wi-fi, and nice wooden tables, and chairs etc. Spacious. Not crammed at all! Clean restroom. That part is done perfectly. Low lighting, too. I mean, this place *could* be something. But, sadly it isn't anything that great. All drinks, whether dine-in or dine-out are placed in a take-away cup, which is wasteful. None of the baristas are present, and the minute your drink is ordered, the'll go back to incessantly babbling. God forbid you need anything in-between. And, they talk soooooooo loud. So, so loud! Place definitely sells energy drinks - Red Bull. *rolls eyes* Music was played tooooo high volume! And, there's..... a drive thru????!!! Too much going on on the 'outside' to worry about those of us inside! May be a nice place if you are 14 years of age. DO NOT GO TO THIS COFFEE SHOP!! After seeing previous BAD reviews for this business.. I should have NEVER given it a try. After waiting in a 10-15 minute drive-through line with no movement and two thirsty young kids.. I walk into the shop to order The staff of four people told me that their coffee machine was giving them trouble or broken. I suggested to them that they consider going out and telling the people that Have.been waiting for a very long time in line that they're having an issue. A young guy barista is perturbed with my frustration when I ask him if the smoothie machine is working and can I get my smoothies. He slams cups down, throws ice in the cups and all over the floor. Makes the smoothies and as he is bringing them to the counter to me, he slips on the ice (or maybe faked a slip) and tosses one of the smoothies at me... it spills all over the counter and me. I frequent this location because it's the closest one to my house. Unfortunately they're very very bad at getting the order right and almost 3 out of five times they fuck it up either the flavors wrong- or they don't do sugar-free like I request, something is always wrong. Maybe hire employees who can comprehend or actually hear orders. Slow it down a little bit and get people who don't take 25 minutes for 3 cars in line. How hard is it to make the drink correctly? Coming from someone who worked at black rock myself for 3 years I know it's not impossible and a very simple task considering. Get it together. This location is disappointing. Cute barista, but we could not stand watching her making drinks with her long hair flipping every second and touching drinks and utensils. Other customers behind us in line were making an exact comment, we looked at each other and totally agreed that baristas or food service workers should tie hair up or something to prevent their super long hair from contacting equipment and exposed food/drinks. Big turn off. Disgusting to think someone's hair dipping in my latte foam as well as sticky chai container spout, milk and other equipment. Wish I hadn't seen it. I bet that hair has been touching toilet bowls too. Love their coffee and employees are really friendly and welcoming. Seating area is nice and open space compare to other locations. I hope this review gets employees' attention to provide better and pleasant customer visits. Easy solution - tie your hair if you have to flip it so much.
