Inside a coffee shop, a paper cup with the logo 'Kainos Coffee Roasters' is placed on a wooden counter near a window, with chairs and a wall sign in the background.

Good sized, clean coffee shop/workspace with plenty of natural light. Still has the "brand new" feel to it. When I visited on a Thursday morning, I was the only customer here for the entire duration of my visit, which was brief as I didn't stay to do any work but I did stay long enough so enjoy some of my coffee. I get the feeling that this place does not get a lot of foot traffic as the barista seemed a little bored when I walked in. But she is very nice and we engaged in conversation. The cappuccino she made was good. This is probably one of the only good coffee spots in the Gresham area.

Pumpkin spice latte and a cold brew - Two iced coffee beverages, one with a creamy topping and the other darker, are placed on a light wooden table. The table is on a patterned rug, and part of a person's white shoes and a black strap are visible.

Kainos coffee has always been a favorite of mine so I was so excited when they opened in Gresham! This part of town is a bit of a desert for good coffee shops. I wish it had opened back in 2018 when I went to high school across the street! Their owner is so incredibly kind. The space is massive and clean. Huge windows. Lots of seats. A fun coffee machine toy set for kids to play with. An aesthetic coffee bar. Lots of coffee alternatives. Mushroom coffee. Traditional coffee. Specialty seasonal lattes! They have it all. Definitely stop by if you're in gresham!

Small coffee shop that cares about what ingredients go into their coffee. Amazing staff, and always clean and inviting when I come in.

Thought I wouldn't like the slaw because I usually hate coleslaw but it was unlike any American slaw I've ever had. So delicious and unique tasting, and paired with the crunchy katsu was just delicious. The fries could use some more crunch but the sandwich makes up for it.

This location was a total disappointment. This location is also a bit small so not really suitable for big groups. We came on a Friday for lunch and there's only 1 kiosk so it takes a while for big groups to order and I don't think they have a person starting another order if it gets too busy. They were out of a couple of the drinks for the kids menu, which was okay because there were 2 other options. Not once did the staff interact with us or say hello to us. The wait time for the food was ok but the server basically ran and threw the food at our table without ever saying anything to us. I ordered a pork katsu sandwich and the pork was VERY dry. I also ordered it normal but when she threw it on the table, she mumbled something "it's not spicy" and but there was clearly some red powder on it and looked like my friend's sandwich that she ordered spicy. We went up to ask the girl and she said they accidentally put the powder on but it's not spicy and that was it. She didn't apologize or offer to exchange it. I think it's unacceptable behavior and I was in disbelief. They were also out of ketchup and we had a whole table of French fries with the kids meals... I have been to the other location a few times and the food and service was good as far as I can remember, but this location is horrible. I will never come back again and will tell all my friends and family about my experience. 2/9- I emailed the business owner like he requested but never got a reply. Don't need to tell me to reach out if you don't care to email back. Thanks.

How does this location have such a low rating?! I stopped at Jimmy John's for the very first time…read moreduring Hood to Coast 2025 and it ended up being exactly what my team needed. Borderline hangry after finishing our first leg, we were searching for food (breakfast or lunch) only to discover most places didn't open until 11am. BUT Jimmy John's was open and that alone felt like a victory. Pulling our giant relay van into the lot, we were surprised to find that this particular location is what looks like an old converted gas station. Quirky but it honestly added to the fun and delirium. Once inside I ordered a #4 Turkey Tom with cheese and I swear the sandwich was made fresh before I even had a chance to pay. The efficiency here was mind-blowing and exactly what we needed mid-relay. The one thing that brought my rating down a star was the water situation. I grabbed a cup and after filling it up twice, I noticed some brown flecks floating around. I'm still telling myself it was just old soda syrup in the lines or something harmless but it was enough to be weary. Aside from that hiccup, it was a great experience. The employees working the morning of 8/22/25 were fast, friendly, and on top of it - if they're always here, then I don't know how people could complain about any wait times. Cody took my order and he was great. All in all, this stop turned out to be a happy, tasty, and speedy surprise during Hood to Coast.

I get mad at myself waiting for my # 7 looking at the menu and all the other decisions I could have made but then you take a bite and all doubt washes away. I really like how fast they get your sandwich ready. In and out faster than any drive through fast food he'll hole could with a legion of High School Kids. The ingrate always fresh and crisp. The bread is amazing. If the ever start selling "Cheesy Garlic" on that bread, I already imagine delicious problems that would create. I'm not telling Jimmy John's to not make it but I am saying, I wish you would.
