I could not distinguish it from any other sweetener. The bring was smooth and gone too quick. The shop was a pretty good side and very quiet when I went, late afternoon. I also watched them repeatedly use the same old 8oz to-go cup to pour shots, and it looked like it was deteriorating -- like they were reusing it to avoid cleaning. There were two employees, but only one seemed to be making drinks while the other appeared focused on closing tasks, and it felt like they were trying to rush through closing even though they still had customers. Both employees were extremely rude, and they were pointing and yelling at my husband and me as we drove away. (One of the employees had blue hair.) Yikes. From hot coffees to cold brews, all were tasty and made to my specifications (sugar free, minimal syrup pumps). This shack also offers oat, soy, or coconut milk... which makes staying somewhat low-carb easier (on vacation, so lived a little dangerously this visit!). There are multiple Country Coffee locations around the metro area, but I'll be sure to swing back by this one the next time I'm up in the PNW.
