Chicken and dumplings

The best chicken and Dumplings I had since my childhood days!! It tasted like my mom's cooking... so creamy, light ... simply delicious!! Need I say more?

My daughter, excited for her meal!

I brought my daughter here for a mother daughter trip and we stumbled upon it. She REALLY liked the French toast and the staff were very friendly. The place is decorated with bee themes and has happy music playing in the background with a lot of natural lighting.

Biscuits and Gravy breakfast

Top notch biscuits and gravy. Gravy is rich and contains sausage and herbs. It it good on everything. The biscuits are buttermilk (twang!) and just the right density. They aren't the flakey kind but the cakey kind. When I asked about which protein the server recommends she said bacon for sure because they have a peppered bacon that's special. It was, too. It was that chewy, thick cut, fully rendered but not crispy, lardon that was strong with black pepper flavor. So good. My dad mentioned that even the eggs are higher quality than regular eggs. The yolks did look more intense than typical eggs. At Nanna's you order at the counter, and pay, and then go sit down with your little table stand that has your name written in chalk. So many servers checked on us and refilled our water and asked how our breakfast was, I can see why it's so busy here. Just a perfect breakfast place. I haven't been for lunch but I noticed lunch prices are less than breakfast places. The only thing I would change about Nanna's is the price. I think it's high. $18 for two eggs, bacon and biscuits and gravy (as good as they are) is too much.

Even though it is only a half table service place ( go to counter, order food then they bring it to you) it is pretty busy for a Weds morning . This style of dining is not my fav cuz you pay for food and tip for service before receiving anything. Bee hive decor Food was delicious. Cooked as requested; I like extra crispy bacon Coffee although the reviews mentioned being good tasted burnt to me Syrup comes out warm so it doesn't make your waffle cold. Had to ask for silverware Never came around after delivering food except to clear dishes... a refill on the coffee might have been nice to be asked or if my food was ok

Omelet special

First time in. Yelp reviews are good so we were looking forward to it. Cute place, nice enclosed patio. Came in around 3pm. Said they were serving breakfast and lunch. You order then pay at the counter. Pick a seat and they bring your food, along with water and utensils. I ordered the omelet special. Bacon, cheese. Wife tried the bees knees scramble, see menu. Both come with country potatoes and toast. Food arrived quickly. Honestly disappointed. Potatoes tasted heated not fresh. My omelet was OK. Ate pretty dry. Bacon was cut small. Hard to appreciate the apple smoked flavor Wife's scramble again only OK. Zucchini was basically raw. Inconsistent cook. Toast was more warm bread and butter. Sadly can't say anything was more than pedestrian. At close to 3 maybe breakfast isn't a good choice. Quite a few critiques, however still a decent breakfast. Prices seem reasonable and service is friendly.

Amazing food. Here I had the country Benedict. Absolutely delicious. It's been a long time since I've been somewhere with biscuits and gravy that I like. The service was very friendly; the theme of the restaurant is very cute. I like it.

Farmhouse Omelette

Our first visit to Nanna's was delightful. Order at the counter and grab a table. The staff is so warm and genuinely nice and brings your order to you when it's ready. There is seating inside or in the enclosed patio. The food was simply AMAZING!! I also loved the plating of our food. Our order included the Farmhouse omelette and the TBA with fries. The bacon in the sandwich was so good. We had to include the strawberry/blackberry French toast when a regular in front of us ordered it. The best French toast I've ever had. The entire dish was sooooo goooood. This may be seasonal so I would suggest hitting this place soon.

Great fresh food. You won't be disappointed, amazing chicken fried steak. Probably the best hamburger I've ever had.

Stopped by this Le Petit Cafe counter inside of Troutdale Station recently…read more Troutdale Station is a food cart mall with about twenty food carts, a huge parking lot, and a central brick and mortar building with counters for drinks and snacks. One of said counters is a mini Le Petit Cafe. I ordered a marionberry macaron, and, wow. It's a serious contender for a new favorite. The cookie was crisp, light, and a bit airy. The dust on the shell was sour, while the creme filling was sweet. This gave eating it a similar experience to eating a freshly picked blackberry. Certainly one of the most creative macarons I've ever tried. It was a whole experience. I guess it was my lucky day, because as I was ordering, the Barista asked me if I wanted a complimentary coffee drink that had been made by accident. I don't even remember what it was called, but it was amazing. I think it was some kind of vanilla latte. I came back on a second occasion and ordered a 12 ounce caramel latte with a pistachio macaron. I loved the latte, but this time, the macaron was bad. It was so stale that I considered asking for a different flavor. Overall I loved the coffee but found everything to be a little high priced based on the quality. I would still stop by here for a coffee in the future because Troutdale Station has free wifi for customers, and this is the best coffee spot there that I know of.

Aside from being a doofus and not noticing the 15 feet of menu on the wall opposite the counter, the place was warm and friendly and had the smell of a place I'd like to eat, (a little warm bread, a touch of cinnamon, and a hint of bacon.) I ordered the Hope's Mess with eggs over easy, a biscuit, and sausage patty and the youngster ordered the Huevos Rancheros. I was told that Hope was now living my wife's ideal life while her partner lived mine. Hope rolled in later and the partner was there first thing so she was not there. We got drinks as well and waited a perfectly reasonable time for our food. Rich, creamy country gravy, perfectly cooked eggs, good coffee. My companion enjoyed his food also, but since it's not my spouse, I didn't feel comfortable stealing a bite to report directly. Always a pleasure to stop in, bring a sticky bun home, and visit with nice people in the community.
