I would give it five stars for the nice staff and workers and they keep it pretty clean every time we go there. But 3 stars for the food. First the white sauce the "lime crema" that they put on sushi is basically sour cream... dairy and sushi do not mix. I always ask them to leave it off, the lime crema and sprinkled onions and way too much wontons and sauce on the sushi rolls that you cannot taste the actual sushi/fish. The "hot mess" roll that has a wonton and the fried tempura is tooo much tempura, I got that roll a few times to see if it was just once they put too much tempura on there but each time they load it up with the tempura flakes, all you taste is fried tempura!!! I can't taste the actual taste of sushi at all. The menu is different and cheaper then sushi Hana and Yokozuna, but this sushi is not the real sushi you would taste at a authentic sushi place like in San Francisco, it's very Americanized Sushi place/food. Too much sauces too much lime crema basically sour cream too much tempura on the rolls, just not good combinations. Not the best sushi I had. But the place is fairly new they have nice staff and it's always clean and have nice carry out containers but if you know real sushi this is not it just like any basic sushi place. Also for two people it's about 40-60 $ and you will be hungry again in an hour. read more

We've only had carry-out here. I love it because we use the website to order on a phone. The site is terrible to start using. Lots of refreshes and clicks to make it work but once you make it into the menu it's great. Order is always ready on time, nothing is ever missing and you pay and tip on the website so just walk in, grab your order and go. Takes less than a minute. The value is great and we enjoy the sushi. read more

This is kind of like fast food sushi, so it's different in some ways. Some of the staff doesn't really seem to have a passion for it, unlike a lot of other sushi places, but the results aren't bad. I will say the create your own sushi is an exciting concept. I highly recommend putting cucumber, avocado, cream cheese and eel on a roll with extra eel sauce. We put sesame seeds, but I'm not sure it added anything really. Very delicious roll though. The other rolls we're good too, but nothing too out of the box or special. It was a cool idea and a pleasant experience, though, so I would suggest it to others. read more

I'm not going to lie, I was a little worried about a "fast-casual" sushi restaurant but it actually turned out to be pretty good. I had a cup of miso soup and a Hot Mess roll and it filled me up for lunch! The miso soup had a nice flavor and the tofu added a good bite! The Hot Mess was really similar to the one you can find at Yokozuna with the lobster salad and fried wonton chip on top but it wasn't quite as good. The prices are definitely lower than other sushi restaurants so if I was in the area and craving sushi I would probably go back! read more

It's okay for cheap sushi. It's always clean and consistent. It is not high end fresh sushi that you would find at Yokozuna's or In the Raw. The staff is friendly. The food is middle of the road. Ok so to start off I'm vegan so I as already prepared to just eat rice and an order of tofu sushi and standards were set low on my dishes. It was okay for me but better for my omnivore family. We ordered the kimchi fries and had the sauces put on the side so it was tasty but super cheap on the kimchi so that was REALLY disappointing. I never had a tofu sushi roll but it was tasty. I did like how they spruced up chicken nuggets and rice with teriyaki sauce and some carrot slices for the kids - fun idea. Miso soup was good but no seaweed which my kids actually like so I was a little disappointed. Hubs liked his rolls. He spoke only once about it so pretty basic. All in all, it was okay. Stopped in today for the first time and it was pretty great! Got the Kaptian Krunch burrito (we had them cut it into pieces), Hot Mess, Spicy Ika Salad, Edamame, and Miso Soup. Everything was fresh and prepared quickly. I did not prefer the Kaptain Krunch, it was too much fried bits and not enough substance for me personally. I have been here several times, and tried a variety of the rolls. They are all amazing; there hasn't been one yet I didn't like. I also get a side of rice, and the rice is perfect! The staff have always been helpful with recommendations and patient when I was deciding which to order. Reasonably priced...it's definitely my go to for sushi from now on! read more
