It was my first time trying this place and it was very good. The sandwich was delicious. I had the classic chicken salad as a BLT on a croissant. I had the grape salad as the side and it came with a cookie as well. I thought the meals came with a pickle, but I guess you have to request the pickle as your side. The drink size is huge. The server was very friendly and helpful and the food was ready fast. The store is clean and bright, with a sort of quirky vibe. There are maybe too many chicken salad flavor options and I wish they had a couple more options that don't have chicken salad.

I'm not sure where I've been but I had no idea you can get samples if you go inside! I always order door dash I've never actually been to the restaurant and it's a nice size! The lemonade and peach tea are both so incredible. I always get the Fancy Nancy and now that I've had a chance to try them I'll definitely be switching my order up a bit. The staff is nice, it was pretty busy so you could tell they were slightly overwhelmed but the service was great nonetheless. If you haven't had their grape salad or broccoli salad you definitely want to give both a try! So good!! I sometimes just place an order for those lol. read more

I really like this place. It is very clean and bright (paint job is nice, lighter green). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food came quickly too. Everything tastes pretty good. I went tonight for dinner. Food was delicious as usual, but the employees were BLASTING music in the back, mostly rap. It was loud, and I could hear it from my table. It was NOT family friendly, either. Nasty swear words every few seconds, including racial slurs. I'm glad I didn't have my kids with me as this is absolutely not for young ears (or Chicken Salad Chick goers, for that matter). Very unprofessional and definitely NOT the Chicken Salad Chick I know and love. The music was almost unbearable, but I tried to enjoy my meal and leave as fast as I could. The owner should be ASHAMED. I'll take my business to another location from now on because this is ridiculous. I'd give 0 stars if I could. read more

I got to stop by the new Tulsa Hills location today for a late lunch. It's clean and fresh inside with plenty of seating. The cashier was very nice and told me their favorite flavor. I was so sad when these closed, and I'm very happy this one opened! I feel like it's a very underrated spot for a pretty healthy lunch. They have a to-go cooler of options to take home too! Tables were dirty... went through 4 tables to find the least dirty one, we cleaned it off ourselves. Food wasn't what I ordered. Was told that they knew there was an issue with their warmer, but they served me a cold sandwich anyway (twice after taking it back to make it right). I ordered a chicken salad melt. The girl making sandwiches lied and said she was manager, but then real manager came out and told her that she wasn't the manager and shouldn't talk to us. The real manager was extremely hateful. She asked what my problem was when she approached. :( She said that it wasn't the staff's job to make sure the equipment was working properly. She proceeded to tell me that cheese on my sandwich looked melted to her ( it looked like it came straight out of fridge) and not to expect it to look like the picture on the menu. There was also a hair on the pickle on my plate. The manager got more hateful when my husband asked if the staff had gone through Serve Safe Food Handling course. They never apologized and they spent more time & energy arguing with us. Time that could have been better spent on taking care of the customers, cleaning tables, & preparing food properly. We spent $40 to not get what we ordered and to be treated like we were inconveniencing them. I won't be going back to ANY Chicken Salad Chick. read more

I got to the store about 12:45 and they had a few people in line about half the tables inside were full and just one or two tables outside were taken. I got in line and the line was moving pretty slowly. From what I could see the slowness was due to someone in the kitchen shouting orders to the cashier, through the service window. This happened two or three times while I was in line. Right before it was my turn to be served, which had taken me probably 8 to 10 minutes to get from fourth in line to next up, another order came in for a hot box and other stuff. Not sure exactly what is in a hot box but the order was for over $100. Once the cashier got done with that order, I asked if it would slow down my order as I was in a rush and had to be back on the road. She informed me it wouldn't as they have two lines set up in the kitchen. I placed my order and asked for it To-Go as I had already been there a while. After waiting a good 15 minutes, I asked the lady who was staging the orders if I was anywhere near to getting my order. Her first response after looking at the list was "No, it will be a while." I told her I was in a hurry and had to get going. She then said it will be out soon. Let's just say, I had time to refill my drink twice, and I was not drinking it quickly, so probably another 6 to 8 minutes. I went to ask again how much longer it would be and I know she saw me coming towards her and she turned away and went into the kitchen. At that stage I got back in line for the cashier, to ask for a refund. After standing in that line for another three minutes, she had only served one person., with three or four people ahead of me I had run out of time, so I dropped my pager on the counter and walked out. If you like chaos and poor service then this is the place for you. I will probably try other Dave's Hot Chicken locations as I know they can do much better, but this location will never see me again. They were so slow and disorganized I swear they couldn't organize a party in a pub.

One of the most unique parts of the visit was learning that the person seated at the table next to us was the previous owner. She is still a regular customer, and her photo is proudly displayed on the wall in the restaurant. That says a lot about the history, loyalty, and character of this place. I also accidentally left my credit card behind and did not realize it until about an hour and a half later. I called the restaurant, and the management immediately helped resolve the issue. They kindly arranged to mail it to my home in Los Angeles, and I have now received it safely. That level of honesty and customer care is rare. The purple rice is so good. The pork belly was crispy and fried to perfection. It had the best flavor. I can't wait to go back and try new things. They definitely have their own twist on things. The sweet potatoes were good but a little heavy on the nutmeg. They tasted like a mix of apple and pumpkin pie. The mac and cheese was really creamy. I really liked the horseradish coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of collard greens but I still tried them and actually thought they were pretty good. For our mains, two of us had the brisket and one had ribs. Both were super good. There were 4 different sauces. I recommend trying them all. I wanted to try the sausage but they were sold out. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. The staff were super nice and treated them just like any other customer. Great food! Great service! Great value! Do yourself a favor and try this place!

We also had French press coffee and now they believe us when we tell them it's the best coffee!! I only got two good pictures of soufflés! We sat on the nice big patio in the corner.
