Got into Tulsa around 1pm and was quite hungry. Checked in to my hotel and then hit up a local sandwich shop. Capriottis it was. Service was fantastic! Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The food wasn't very good in my opinion. I chose the turkey sandwich. Although the turkey was real turkey breast, not deli meat, it didn't have a lot of flavor. There also weren't a lot of toppings, and bread ratio was too bready. There isn't an option to "build your own" like Jersey Mikes or Subway, so you're kind of stuck with what you get. It wasn't awful, just not that good. Service made up for mediocre food. read more

I arrived at Capriotti's to pickup my sandwiches. Never been here before so I stood at cashiers station and waited for assistance. Both employees were at the grill working diligently. Neither looked up to see me standing there. After six minutes standing there one looked at me. Came up and asked me if she could help me. I told her my name and was there to pickup my sandwiches. With this "you dumb butt look" and said "it's right over there"and walked off. Remember I've never been there before and I hadn't seen the shelf holding our food. Place is small with six or so tables. Got home with our sandwiches. My Italian Sub was SO WET AND SOGGY! The lettuce and thinly sliced tomato were drenched in some unidentified liquid substance. I pulled all of the let out of the sub. Leaving me with a bun that was falling apart. Torn off about half of the top and bottom of the bun. Flavor of meat was okay at its best. I ate one half Wife's Homemade Turkey sub was bland and tasteless. She ate 1/3 of one half. Two bags of chips were the hit of the meal. $29.60 wasted. Can't say we didn't try. read more

We ended up here as a plan B. This is a solid lunch place...quick and delicious. I ordered a mini and they are tiny. I do like that small option though. I have visited the shop in BA but I like that this is closer to work. This time I tried the Capistrano (their version of a Reuben). It was OK. Like I said just small. Dining partner ordered a small Italian and it was piled high! I think I might order a small next time and take half of it home. It might be a better deal than the mini. read more

one thing i'm going to do when it comes to food is get a sandwich (unless it's a rice bowl) & i want to go on a sandwich tour to see who has the best sandwich in tulsa (& the surrounding areas). capriotti's was brought to my attention by my partner who went with her family during the holiday season last year. i saw the menu & added it to my list immediately. i rolled with the american wagyu club & i enjoyed it. american wagyu beef, turkey, hickory-smoked + honey-cured bacon, provolone cheese, lettuce & spicy mustard. all of the flavors were subtle & went well together, i like the turkey being hand pulled (similar to how pulled pork is) along with the provolone & bacon. they weren't stingy with the wagyu. i saw they had sweet peppers available for other certain sandwiches & i was very close to adding that to mine, i plan on doing that next time no matter what sandwich i get. there are plenty of sandwiches to choose from, the club i chose was on the featured menu. there are cheesesteaks, including an impossible (plant based) one, and there's a separate selection of turkey subs. the lady who took our order was nice & patient. we were exploring that whole menu, making sure it's the certain sandwich we wanted. also, i didn't catch the fact that they were cold subs, which isn't a bad thing. i'm more of a hot sandwich person while this one did the job & it had nothing to do with how hungry i was. be sure to sign-up for the rewards if you plan on showing your face here more often. read more

Last week I ordered 25 custom sandwiches from this location for our monthly company luncheon. This location in Tulsa Hills did an absolutely amazing job with our order! The large sandwiches were huge. They got everyone's order absolutely perfect. The entire staff was very kind, and the lady who was in charge of the catering order was very nice and attentive. I've eaten here many times for lunch and the sandwiches are great. The ingredients are very high quality, and you will definitely leave full. Capriotti's app has a pretty great reward system, too! It was ok, My daughter wanted a sandwich after her soccer game. We are not from the area to se did a quick search and this spot came up. My daughter ordered the sandwich and she was not too excited. She said the bread tasted really dry and old. We are hoping we were just there on an off day. The employees were kind and took our order quickly. I stopped by for the first time to try the French dip sandwich at this QSR. The service was friendly. The French dip was surprisingly good! The beef was tender and flavorful, and the bread was like a cross between potato bread and sub bread. The au jus that came with it made it even better. The price was slightly on the higher side, but overall, it was pretty good. read more

Little tiny Sammy shop off 91st but it is so cute and cozy inside. I ordered the Italian sub with no onions. I felt it was a little dry as th egg only add oil but they suggested some vinaigrette and it was chefs kiss! The hubbs had the wagyu cheesesteak medium and it was a lot of food! So, I was scrolling Doordash, as usual, looking for a new place to try, and decided on this place for lunch. To say "It was good" would be an understatement. It's my new favorite sandwich shop. I ordered the medium 10" Capastrami, a peanut butter cookie, and a brookie. The sandwich was delicious; the pastrami was tender and very flavorful, the coleslaw was creamy and gave the sandwich a nice crunchy texture, and the Russian dressing was a perfect condiment to complement everything. Peanut butter cookies are my favorite cookies, and this was no exception. I don't know for sure, but the cookie and the brookie (both delicious) tasted freshly baked. Unfortunately, I ate the cookie before I took a photo, but I have photos of the other items. I highly recommend this shop. read more

Good sandwich shop! Tried out the Classic Italian sandwich (Small size- 8 inch) which had salami, capocollo, prosciuttini, provolone cheese, oil, and lettuce, onion, and tomato. All the ingredients in the sandwich tasted great and fresh. The meats were also decent quality. Really also liked the bread. The only problem I had was there was some sort of dressing in the sandwich that was very strong tasting that didn't make the sandwich quite as enjoyable. If there wasn't as much dressing in the sandwich, I would say it was about perfect. Our first time trying Capriotti's and we were really impressed. The cashier was a little aloof, but the gentleman who made our sandwiches did an excellent job. My husband is not a big sandwich guy and had the Capastrami which he raved about. I had the Wagyu Club which was also delicious. Portion sizes were generous and the quality was exceptionally better than other similar chain sandwich shops. When we were getting up to leave we had a little leftover that I wrapped up take. If you like sandwiches this is the place to go! Wow!!! One the owner is so kind and welcoming and two the food is so fresh!! We were in town for a soccer tournament and this is the perfect stop for what we were looking for. This is a combination of like Jimmy John's fast with a local deli quality. All of the turkey they bake over night and hand pull so it's not that gross slimy meat at some places. The dressing was spot on and my son put it on his classic Italian sandwich. Our first time at Capriotti's and we absolutely loved it! Not only were the sandwiches great but the service was awesome. When the server heard this was our first time, she went over all the most popular sandwiches with us. I had a question about the difference between the wagyu beef and the regular beef used for the cheese steak, and she offered to cook me up a sample of each! My cheese steak was tender and tasty. My wife got the classic Italian and loved it. I'm not usually a fan of cold sandwiches, but I took a bite of hers and almost didn't give it back! I'm only giving it 2 stars because of the guy that works there. The food was good but when we walked in he took his time coming to the register then said nothing, not a hi, hello, welcome. Just looked at us like we were dumb and went back to watching his football game on his phone. He had a terrible attitude pretty much hr whole time. He threw the box on the counter when I had to give back my order because it had cheese on it (I ordered no bun, no cheese). I apologized to the lady and she was very nice about it. I'm pretty sure he was talking about it to the other worker (ie complaining) but I couldn't hear exactly what he was saying. It got pretty busy after that and I think it ruined his day. Someone walked up because he called a name and the guy wasn't sure if it is was him or not. I don't know what words were said between them but the guy walked back to his table (not mad) and the man working said under his breath but loud enough for us and OUR children to hear "F*** off." I wish I would have got his name but he's the red-headed gentleman working on Sunday afternoon the 12th. The food was tasty and fresh regardless. We enjoyed our meal minus the attitude. read more

So I tried to give this place the benefit of being new when my order of 2 sub sandwiches took 25 minutes. But then I got home and there was no Mayo on my sandwich. And that would have been fine because normally I have mayo home. I did not unfortunately for them, so that extra pissed me off. But then my wife said her sandwich was literally inedible! The chicken was rubbery and chewy. And if mama ain't happy no one is! So this place sucks I think is my conclusion. Got a meatball sub and it was phenomenal. The bread is so light, you definitely don't feel like your eating your weight in a loaf. Flavor and density of the meatball was great. Sauce was great.
