I just tried the limited time Picklewich and pickle chips. The chips are 10 out of 10 delicious. The sandwich is about 4" long and comes between a split pickle instead of bread. Doing this lowers the calories to 310 and also no bread carbs. They have two choices the vito (italian) and the turkey. They both come with meat and cheese and standard sub toppings. I got the Vito and it was absolutely delicious. The only downside is it's definitely a messy eat, but I will be going back to try this again before it goes away. read more

Hygiene is not a priority. They are chronically understaffed with one person taking orders, making sandwiches and policing the place. They don't believe in changing gloves between taking payment and making sandwiches. The owner really needs to invest in training and staffing the place. Just because it is fast doesn't mean it doesn't give you diarrhea. read more

The biggest reason to keep going back to Jimmy John's is the bread. Their bread tastes really fresh with a great flavor and texture to it. The sandwich ingredients also taste like a much higher quality than Subway. My one complaint is that the meat is a little skimpy and as far as I can tell there is no option for extra meat when ordering online. If I could double the meat I would be inclined to eat their more but I kind of just feeling like I'm eating a loaf of bread sometimes. The service is good and the store appears clean. read more

Brookside brought us a quick and reliable sandwich joint! Colin and I needed a good/ fast/ healthy meal and haven't tried this new Jimmy John's but we were smitten with the one in Norman so we gave it a shot. We were handsomely greeted by patient workers as we stumbled through what sandwich would be best. Within what seemed to be a split second, our sandwiches were ready! Although we had to take them to-go, we'll be back to dine-in. It's a bargain to get to sit in this hip place with tastefully sarcastic phrases on the walls and enjoy a $5 sandwich. We've been going here for years. Great sandwich's! The service has always been super! I usually get the Turkey with Swiss. Excellent! Have had the Veggie, love it too! The roast beef is always great! This is my sandwich go to spot when I need something quick and tasty! They staff are always friendly and the store is always in great shape as far as cleanliness goes. My favorite sandwich is the Hunter club with extra roast beef, and when paired with the jalapeño chips and a diet coke... Incredible! It really is freaky how fast these guys can bang out a quality sandwich that doesn't look like it was sloppily thrown together. They are usually done preparing the sandwich and putting it in the bag by the time I can grab my chips and fill up my diet coke!! I am literally in and out and back on the road within 5 minutes from the time I walk through the doors! The service is equally as awesome for delivery, so if you are lucky enough to live nearby, keep them in mind if you don't wanna get out and about. This location is right down the street from where I work/ go to school. While I have never been inside this location, I have still seen it from the outside. It is always clean and comfortable in my view. I always order a delivery. They are normally super quick, except for today... it has been 37 minutes since my online order confirmation. I called and they assured me he is on his way. Anyway, the quality is pretty standard. I normally get the "vito." it is super yummy on wheat of french bread and with added cucumbers. This place was okay. I went here for my birthday this past week. I was expecting much more quality from a place with such a cool name. It was a decently sized place, but the staff weren't very welcoming. They also cleaned everything with Windex? The food was made fast though and the sandwich I ordered looked nice from the outside. I ordered the Italian, but it ended up tasting mediocre. The service was okay but I wouldn't go here again. Not up to standards. Also, you don't get a good product for your price. We have live 0.3 hours away from this jimmy johns and every time we order food to be delivered here it takes 30-45 minutes. Last time we ordered food we specifically chose a no contact delivery. When we opened the door to grab the food the man that was delivering our order not only handed it straight to us, but felt the need to give us a Bible lesson. After a pretty descent workout next door at Boss Fitness, I was in the need for a hearty lunch. Jimmy Johns had always been talked up to me so I took the plunge and tried it. Initially when I went in I looked at the options and they all seemed pretty basic. At this point I thought this was just another subway type shop. When I cruelly got into the sand which I discovered the difference. I had the turkey John. With only turkey, lettuce, tomato and mayo the magicians at Jimmy Johns made a beautiful sand which. I worked at a Jimmy John's in the summer of 2005 right after college graduation. I remember distinctly when corporate switched to a lower quality (although still acceptable) meat vendor and I kind of lost hope. But when Jimmy John's came to Tulsa I was excited, because they are fast. Probably 1 min wait tops for your sandwich. I even find the bread the best that any chain sub shop offers. In fact if I need a sub roll, I'll go to a Jimmy John's and buy their day old bread which is readily available. The problem with Jimmy John's is that its pretty pricey for what you get and then all the add-ons really add up. Expect to pay about $10 for a sandwich and a drink. Sure you could get a combo and add some chips, but you aren't saving yourself more than $.10. While the sandwiches are decent, I just wish that they wouldn't scoop out the bread for the cheaper sandwiches. It's not like that are stuffing more meat in there. Also, its weird that they still offer some sandwich options but they are readily unavailable. Like the sprouts. Still on the menu, but their supplier suffered from the same sprout contagion the rest of us did about two years ago....and I haven't seen sprouts on Jimmy John's sandwiches since. Finally, these places always seems to be missing a manager. When I walk it its always teenagers and college students chit chatting and quickly making a sandwich. I'd hate to be there if something or someone messes up and then there is no one with any sort of authority or responsibility to make things better. Finally an insider tip. I for one would not eat tuna fish from any sub shop, but people for some reason rave about the tuna fish here. The trick to their tuna fish is a giant can of chicken of the sea drained over the sink, which is then tenderly squeezed small handful by small handful until all the juice is out. Mayo of course is then added, but the "trade secret" is that the also add soy sauce. Summation: Good for a quick sandwich fix, but you'll have to pay. read more
