We really enjoyed everything. I think the fried pickles were really good. I will say we both agreed they were on the salty side. But we kept eating them because they were tasty. I dipped mine in ranch, she dipped hers in come back sauce. The cookies were really good. Overall... I thought it was a bit pricey, but what isn't pricey anymore (?) I would definitely return.

There's plenty of sauces to choose from, one comes with the combo & I got the Rooster Sauce - which is maybe in the middle on spice level. Each sauce is labeled on the menu with the heat levels at the location (doesn't show online). I really liked the fries. More of a thin cut, nicely seasoned. The Texas Toast was slightly buttered & has a subtle sweetness to it. Speaking of sweetness, the Rooster Sauce is a sweet & spicy chili pepper sauce & paired well with the tenders. There were a few sauces that caught my eye, like the Alabama White Sauce, Comeback Sauce, even the Habanero Oil. The customer service here was really good. I was greeted & my wait was not long one bit, my food was ready in not even 5 mins. The place was surrounded by TVs. I went around lunchtime & it got pretty busy.

I love that they have these incredible egg sandwiches as well as real deal Korean corn dogs. If you've never experienced a Korean corn dog it's very different than an American corn dog because you can get sweet potato or regular potato on the outside or you can just get the really crispy outside batter. then they have all these sauces or cinnamon sugar that you can sprinkle on your corn dog and it just makes it that much better. It's super affordable and a really great spot especially if you wanna try something different and yummy. Everything is made to order and doesn't take too long.

I went with the classic, it gave me the idea of this spot & to try just about every option on the menu. The Classic was coated & fried to perfection. Light & crispy, made for dipping (you can get up to 3 cups for sauces). As I was waiting for the order to be ready, there were numerous condiments to choose from like chili, sriracha, garlic... I went with the sriracha & the chili. I enjoyed both sauces, I like to try chili sauces by the restaurant & theirs is the way I like it. The wait didn't take long at all, especially with me having a Mochinut to hold me over. I went with cinnamon sugar, which is something I'd usually go for anywhere to let me know how good to other flavors will be. All of the flavors caught my eye & there were plenty to choose from (like mango & blueberry to name a couple). Outside of those selections I made, there's another thing they're known for, they egg toast. The Teriyaki one is the one I might have to try first. The staff was nice. As if all that wasn't enough, they also have slushes.

Howdy Burger

Oklahoma seems to have a certain pride when it comes to burger joints that keep it simple. Tulsa…read morehas many chains, local restaurants and pop-ups that are familiar and filling. Encroaching on a seemingly crowded market can be tough but somehow Howdy feels like an already-established diner. While many newer burger places attempt to overwhelm the consumer, Howdy Burger's approach seems to be keeping things simple and delivering what the people want while staying true to the "burger joint" identity. I've had Howdy Burger 2 or 3 times through the years. My first visit was likely in/at Mother Road Market but a more recent visit was on October 29th (2025). In the midst of an economic stall (the federal government was shut down for 4 weeks at that point), eating out seemed like a luxury. I visited around 2pm for lunch. The weather was chilly and the staff was readily available. I was greeted and I browsed the menu for about 2mins before ordering. I ended up getting a single burger & rodeo fries. Afterwards, me & the lady cashier had a brief conversation about the state of the world as business was slower than usual. The restaurant isn't huge but it was well maintained. I sat near the West windows and the food came out shortly after. The highlight of the food was easily the burger itself. It was a decent size, the bread was soft, and the patty was just thick enough. Each bite was equally satisfying as they didn't hold back on the toppings. I will say that the fries are pretty standard, even with the extra toppings. I don't think the Rodeo Fries are worth wild but it didn't hurt to try. Lastly, I LOVE the variety of sauces they offer and the staff are happy to add them directly onto the sandwich or place them on the side. I've since returned to have the Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was just as good, if not better, than most famed chicken sandwich spots. I wasn't familiar with Howdy for a while and, as mentioned, there are many other places to get a cheeseburger, sandwich and/or fries. But what I like about Howdy is that they don't try too hard, they know what sells and they offer great service. Considering the price, consistency in their products and good people behind the counter, Howdy Burger is good enough to replace your favorite burger chain and/or fast food spot.

Both tenders each sit on a slice of bread with a stack of pickle slices in the corner of my to-go container. The tenders were really good & the combo left me full. Both tenders were well seasoned, very well seasoned, the way I like it. They were big pieces & I dipped 'em in the Dave's sauce here & there. Chicken spots usually have their own sauce that favor each other, Dave's sauce is different & compliments the chicken well. The fries got the job done. While we were in the Tulsa Hills area, it looked like people were standing outside like there was a line. Come to find out, there was a pickup + online orders window to where you don't have to go in (which is what we ended up doing). With that said, the order didn't take long at all (placed the order online). Even inside it didn't looked as packed, we possibly just missed their lunch rush (it was around 2pm).

Went in at roughly1130pm (not realizing they close at midnight, thought it was later for a friday). my friend ordered a meal before i did, i got a #3 and a top loaded fries. cashier was great and no issues. my friends buzzer buzzed maybe 5 mins later, so i was thinking mine was soon after. waited... waited.. 10 mins pass, i go up with my receipt and buzzer. asked the employee as i'm looking at a tray of food and a black container on the counter. she asked for my receipt, looks at it and hands it back and says "it'll buzz when your food is ready" i apologize and say thank you. waited another 10+ mins and now its been over 20 mins since my friend has gotten her food plus MULTIPLE PEOPLE that ordered after me got their food.so i go back up, same process with same employee, she then slides over the SAME TRAY AND CONTAINER that i saw from earlier but looking at me like they been waiting for me. so they just let the food sit there knowing that that food can only belong to me and yet never buzzed or even made effort to find me considering by then it was just me, my friend and a couple who ordered 15 mins after me in the shop.(which they also got their food before me along with few other to go orders) it's now at 1155pm and i feel the need to rush to finish so they can close at 12. no apology, no explanation. now my food is cold. cool. gave them $10~ tip, even CLEANED the table (not a piece of trash or sauce left on table) and considerate (INHALED MY FOOD) enough to leave at 1205 for what? that's why i'm extra upset at myself.

For our sides we chose the fried & onion rings. The burger was hands down one of the best I've had in the Tulsa area. The meat had such an amazing flavor and the quality was great, you can taste the freshness. The Philly was a great size and fully loaded! The bread was soft and pillowy and overall a great sandwich. The gyro was filled to the brim with meat and tasted so fresh as well, packed with veggies and sauce. The fries had a nice seasoning on top that added a nice flavor. The onion rings were incredibly crisp and not greasy one bit for being fried I was pleasantly surprised. Customer service was good, kind staff. We will definitely be back again soon.

The onion rings were excellent -- crispy, well-seasoned, easily the highlight of the meal. The burger was fine, so the kitchen clearly knows how to handle basic grill items. The problem was the sandwiches: * Cheesesteak was dry and under-seasoned * Very little flavor overall * Bread wasn't bad, but added nothing * The chicken cheesesteak had the same issues, so it's not just the beef There was also an order issue: asking for no onions resulted in no peppers either, even though peppers were wanted. That suggests the toppings are treated as a single mix rather than customized. Grill'd seems to do burgers and fried sides well, but the cheesesteaks don't live up to the name. If you come here, I'd recommend sticking to burgers or onion rings and skipping the cheesesteaks.
