There was a brief wait at the window, but understandable since they're busy. When I got home my food looked like the typical fast food, we live about 30 minutes away. I ate my food, it tasted good to me. My sensitive stomach didn't make a peep! Todays visit was a hit for me! I'll stop by again when I'm in the area.

I've had Howdy Burger 2 or 3 times through the years. My first visit was likely in/at Mother Road Market but a more recent visit was on October 29th (2025). In the midst of an economic stall (the federal government was shut down for 4 weeks at that point), eating out seemed like a luxury. I visited around 2pm for lunch. The weather was chilly and the staff was readily available. I was greeted and I browsed the menu for about 2mins before ordering. I ended up getting a single burger & rodeo fries. Afterwards, me & the lady cashier had a brief conversation about the state of the world as business was slower than usual. The restaurant isn't huge but it was well maintained. I sat near the West windows and the food came out shortly after. The highlight of the food was easily the burger itself. It was a decent size, the bread was soft, and the patty was just thick enough. Each bite was equally satisfying as they didn't hold back on the toppings. I will say that the fries are pretty standard, even with the extra toppings. I don't think the Rodeo Fries are worth wild but it didn't hurt to try. Lastly, I LOVE the variety of sauces they offer and the staff are happy to add them directly onto the sandwich or place them on the side. I've since returned to have the Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was just as good, if not better, than most famed chicken sandwich spots. I wasn't familiar with Howdy for a while and, as mentioned, there are many other places to get a cheeseburger, sandwich and/or fries. But what I like about Howdy is that they don't try too hard, they know what sells and they offer great service. Considering the price, consistency in their products and good people behind the counter, Howdy Burger is good enough to replace your favorite burger chain and/or fast food spot.

This is one of those greasy spoon burger joints that serves up "tasty" thin patty steak burgers, great shakes and caramel twist cones. Even if you are not into burgers the twist is a must and worth the drive from Tulsa. It's a really cool vanilla twist but with caramel swirled in. Take a look at my picture to see, it's delicious. I'm pretty sure this is a franchise but it still has that local burger joint feel. I know the brand was founded in the 1950s and this location has been locally operated since the 60s. It's a Skiatook institution and serves up an overall great classic cheeseburger that I'm sure the locals are proud of. I've stopped by for a burger at least four times and each visit received great customer service and burgers. read more

She was on top of drink refills without asking, checked on us numerous times and had an excellent personality and demeanor.
