Went in to get a burger... It took a while for someone to come from the back. I wasn't upset about that. Cool. They went to make my food and they lay the bun out while cooking the food. They put all the toppings on the bun... and here goes a fly landing on my mushrooms and on the onions on the other bun. Lol!! I instantly got sick!!!!!! And then there was an issue with giving my money back. Telling me that they needed my card. I use tap to pay. Eventually they gave me back my money in cash... The lady told me they've been trying to get an exterminator out... Anyway. 0/5. No one wants a Holey - Moley donut shop burger. read more

I'd put off trying 5 Guys for quite some time because I knew how much it was going to cost me. So that said, cost is a factor in this review, but not the only factor. So... walked in around 12:30 or so and eyeballed the menu, which is blissfully simple, a nice change from some local franchises. Keeping it basic, I went with a cheeseburger, no onions and a small order of fries. I like that the only two choices I had to make wasthe toppings on my burger and the seasoning on my fries, which turned out to be the cajun seasoning. My order was a to-go order, and the wait time was maybe a tad long, but nothing I'd gripe about. I will admit that this time my preconceptions turned out almost completely wrong. Given most franchise burger places, I expected an anemic 1/4 lb paper thin overcooked patty buried under a mountain of lettuce. Not so. Here's one area where they did shine. The burger, once home and unwrapped was really nice looking. Easily 3-4" thick with a really thick meat patty and proportional amounts of trimmings, except for the cheese, which was there in abundance. All this is a nice way of saying it was a hot mess of a burger, in a good way. Burger was probably a solid 8/10. Where it came up short was flavor. It was good, and it hit the basic marks of a solid diner burger, but overall, the flavor was just average. Not sure what they could have done to enhance the flavor, but it just didn't measure up to places like Goldie's and OMG solely in flavor. Don't get me wrong, it was a good burger, but it wasn't a great burger. When it comes to the fries, I recommend you order the smallest size and see how that works. I ate fries all the way home (5 minute drive), and once home, split the order with my son and still had more than I could eat. And they were good fries.... not sure about 'cajun', but good nonetheless. I now understand why the small order of fries is nearly $6... seems like a lot (and it is), but you get a butt ton of fries. Honestly, I'd rather have an order half the size of the smallest one and not have far more fries than I can eat. The trick there, I suppose is 2 or 3 people order a burger and split the order of fries, so if that's your situation, cost is probably not bad. Service was what you would expect of a take out order, basic and just there. All together, the bill for the burger and fries was $18.49. Overall, I admit to underestimating 5 Guys based on the fact they're a franchise. The burger was good, if average. The fries were really good, if massively oversized. Not sure I'll be a regular because there's just better burgers in Owasso for the same or less money. read more

Crappy experience overall. Food cold. Asked for cheese on fries, got American Cheese slice in a pan and fries. That was just plain ignorant and rude, and didn't need to be done. No explanation of sizes. Asked for a smaller size, told there are only regular sizes. No kids meal at this location which completely sucks. I've been to locations in Missouri growing up and to locations in Tulsa and they did have kids meals and they were able to create cheese fries because they used cheese sauce for hotdogs or by putting fries on the grill and heating cheese over it. They also had little sizes for the meals. Didn't know things were that different here. Will never be going back. Not only because its not family friendly at all, but because of the ignorant behavior over cheese fries. That was just messed up. read more

Was pleased this place is finally open. The prices may seem to be a little high to some but the quality is worth it. I find the prices very comparable to other burger joints in town. Service was great. My burger was huge and tasted great. A regular fry was plenty for three people to share. read more

The price was insane it was $50 just for 3 meals that are not worth it and I decide to go there you better go when you get a paycheck. Besides that the food was great the fries were good and some were burnt the burger was classic but all of it was homemade which I liked. read more

I was rather surprised at the prices. I haven't eaten a fast food burger in probably a year or more, so I haven't kept up with how inflation was affecting prices. The burger itself seemed rather small. But the quality was very good. The small size of the burger was more than offset by the "little fries" (ie, small order). It was enormous. They filled the small cup with fries, and then dropped in another full size order of fries loose on top of that, burying the burger and fries under another layer of fries. It was literally a plate full of fries. I couldn't eat them all. But they are very good fries, almost creamy smooth in texture inside with just the right amount of crisp. Be aware, though, that they drop fries in the bag loose with your order, and the grease will make the bag greasy. Might not want to set it on your car seat. read more
