I've always wanted to try this coney place. I called in my order and only had to wait a few minutes when I arrived. We tried the cheese coneys and the cheese tamale. We grew up eating at Coney Islander in downtown Tulsa. So today after church we decided to go here for lunch. They were great, but they seemed to be missing something. Coney I-Lander is a part of my childhood, as we made regular trips over to Admiral to have some delicious coneys. Then, as I went out on my own, I lived off of 11th street for many years and the one across from TU was my regular stop. Now, I live 1400 miles away but made it back home to visit family for Christmas and was thrilled to see the new one in Owasso. It only took 30 years from the time we moved to Owasso for them to set up shop here but it was worth the wait. We only stopped in once for a take out order but the restaurant was clean and had quite a bit of seating. I will save the review of the coneys because if you love them like I do, you will get exactly what you want from this location. The coneys were hot and delicious; they tasted just like they always have. Eating them is like a happy memory that takes me back to my childhood. I suppose that is the appeal of Coney-I-Lander for me, after all, and I will continue to come back every time I get the chance. Though I live far away now, Owasso will always be home for me so I say welcome home, Coney-I-Lander. I will see you this summer!! read more

One of a kind. I live in CO now and every time I go back home I have to hit up a Coney I-Lander. This one just happens to be the closest. These are the same coneys I used to get at the original store in downtown Tulsa 45 years ago. This store continues the tradition. When I was a kid this was the best place I could imagine going for coneys and strawberry soda! Eating here is a unique TULSA experience and a part of its history. What makes the coneys unique is it's chili, and trying to read the jumbled words on the reader board was always fun. I am so excited that we have a coney i-lander in owasso now! I love this city, and its nice to not have to drive into tulsa for my favorite fast food. If you haven't tried it, go there soon. Great coney and no beans chilli. The servers are ok. (It wouldn't hurt if ya'll smiled a little bit.) There is a help wanted sign in the front window so i dont know if the employee turnover is normal or high there? The dining area and restrooms are kept fairly clean. I ordered through the drive thru and accidentally did the regular coney, went up to the window I quickly realized that I made a mistake. The female (who didn't have a name tag) older, brown hair, clearly got upset that I made this mistake. She grabbed my credit card from me and was very short with me. I've been in the retail business for 30 years and I couldn't believe the attitude she put off. You hate it there, then leave. Will not be ordering from this location. read more
