    Cheese Coney, Pint of Chili
    Jojo L.

I read many reviews that said to try out the hotdgos from Coney Island, so I gave it a try. Got their cheese special, a hot chili bowl, and a baked potato. The cheese special wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst. It tasted kind of old and I was hoping the cheese was gonna be a bit more melted rather than just sprinkled on. The chili bowl tasted just like a regular chili bowl, so nothing special, but probably the only thing I liked. They forgot my baked potato so I can't rate that, which is sad. Not sure if it was just an off day, but I wish I had a better experience. I picked up my order for take-out, so I can't rate much on the inside dining experience ambiance of the space, nir much on the staff.

Lets go for coneys! Ok which one? What are you talking about there is only one place for Coneys! That's pretty much how it goes when for this spot, everything is always done perfect. No asking if the chili has too much salt or wondering if you get a nasty mess of grease. So you know if you get it on the do or if you get it in the three way you are set. They have the old school classic squeeze cheese so you know that is going to be good. The chili dog with squeeze cheese is the go to satisfy you, the only thing that could make this place better is if the had a food truck that was parked at your favorite bar!

Love this little coney shop. My husband grew up near here and anytime we are in town he wants to go to it. The coneys are excellent and the price is good. The chili is fresh and not to spicy. They have 2 kinds of cheese to choose from, shredded or from a can. Some coneys bury the hot dog in cheese, they put on the perfect amount. The bun is soft and warm. I do wish they had something other that Pepsi products to drink though. We will definitely be back anytime we are in town

Located along Tulsa Route 66, this popular diner is as eggcellent as things could be. The service was the most eggcellent. There were a lot of regulars. The food was not as eggcellent as the service. Chicken and waffles were good. Chicken breast was a little thin. I've had better chicken and waffles elsewhere. Diner was bustling with a friendly atmosphere. I would definitely return in the future for more eggcellences.

Service was good. We tried the biscuit and gravy with two over easy and the Mexican breakfast sandwich with ham, avocado, cheese, and spinach on a huge Telera roll. Interior was bright and clean. Coffee was unlimited and we had our own little carafe. I would definitely go again!!!! Tip: When ordering the Mexican breakfast sandwich, I would ask for a side of the chipotle mayo. I really needed some more spice. That Telera roll was amazing. Also know that this is a sandwich that could EASILY be shared!!!!!

Service was spot on throughout the entire night. We started with the deviled eggs, half plain and half Chef's Choice. The Chef's Choice were the best, drizzled with chili crisp (or pickled Szechuan peppercorns) and topped with a tiny gherkin and fresh dill. The soup of the day was a cabbage and radish soup. It was interesting and very homey but I wish I had ordered the salad. I had the Novarro Farm sweet Potato Gnocchi (kale and pecan pesto, Birch Bottom Farm Georgia candy roaster, fresh chevre). I was a little hesitant about the kale pesto but should NOT have been. This dish was delicious--great garlic flavor. Would order again. The burger looked amazing and while The Hubs said it was good, he also said it needed some more spice. They had a couple of rotating beers from Heirloom--a Mexican Lager and an Italian Pilsner. I had the Water Lily cocktail, their take on an Aviation. Order it just because it's beautiful (and refreshing). The photo does not depict the deep color of it. I asked what other gin based cocktails they had on their menu. They didn't but the server/bartender offered to make me a Bee's Knees for the second round. It was delicious! The atmosphere here is casual but the food is elevated. I kept thinking this is what a French bistro would be like inside. I want to come back and shop the market. Oh, and the apple pie was excellent as well!

For my starter I ordered "Our Nice Little Salad" this beauty was crisp, fresh, and had tomatoes that popped in your mouth and bursted with flavor. The in-house croutons had that perfect buttery crunch, spiced pecans added a unique boldness and the homemade ranch was thick and creamy. I will say I had to ask three times for ranch. I just kept waiting. For our main courses we had the bone-in pork chop. Thick, juicy, and properly rested paired with red mashed potatoes.... Which were very good. The seasonal corn - was gone so quick! It was just so delicious. Ate that right up!! The shrimp scampi leaned heavily into garlic and butter in the best possible way. Shrimp were big, tender and juicy. Unfortunately my rotisserie chicken.... was very dry. I kept choking because of that. I was unable to eat it, that was disappointing. As far as atmosphere... very warm lighting, intimate feels, candle lit, steady energy, attentive staff. The dining room hums with laughter and happy customers... but without overtaking the conversation at our table. The volume was comfortable considering it was a full house.
