The original Howdy Burger, a double double with lettuce, tomato, onion and rodeo sauce...awesome on a bun

Tried the latest addition to Mother Road Market and it ROCKED! Burgers are thin and fried on a hot griddle so they get a perfect crisp outside and a fantastic carmelized flavor...lettuce, tomato and onion super fresh...bun soft and buttery, a fantastic combination that is incredibly flavorful. Rodeo fries are loaded with bacon...the fourth food group. Good fries with nothing on them, loaded down they are awesome. Add to all this great customer service, pleasant and helpful even late in the evening, and everything came out quick and hot. They have the recipe for success dow Great burger, great fries. This is a super combo and I will be back! We have been back, several times and they have always been spot on. Saw a review that said they were rude...we have never seen them be anything but helpful, friendly and pleasant. If you have a problem with the dude up front, check a mirror for the problem! We just had another super tasty burger and fries! Keep it up!

The Original Howdy Burger - double meat, double cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, rodeo sauce

Okay, so I have been wanting to check out this spot at MRM for a while, but was honestly always caught up with either Doctor Kustom or Chicken and the Wolf. But I am very glad I finally made enough room in my stomach for this bad boy of a burger. This is the Original Howdy Burger that comes with double meat, double cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions & rodeo sauce. It's a tasty smash burger that reminded me a bit of a Shake Shack burger (and some other delicious smash burgers I've had in NYC). The patty was cooked beautifully and had a nice crunch to it and the toppings, as "basic" as they might seem to be since they're like on top of 90% of burgers, were fantastic. I also tried their fries, and they're good. Nothing I'd scream my head off over, but still quite good. Looking forward to heading back and trying out their "loaded" version that comes with a few bells and whistles. But for now, let's keep the focus on this must eat burger.

Very good juicy cheeseburger with crispy edges on the patties. I got the original Howdy burger which is a double meat with cheese.

So good every time I go there. Consistently great food and service. Everything is clean and they have corn dogs on the weekend.

Oklahoma seems to have a certain pride when it comes to burger joints that keep it simple. Tulsa…read morehas many chains, local restaurants and pop-ups that are familiar and filling. Encroaching on a seemingly crowded market can be tough but somehow Howdy feels like an already-established diner. While many newer burger places attempt to overwhelm the consumer, Howdy Burger's approach seems to be keeping things simple and delivering what the people want while staying true to the "burger joint" identity. I've had Howdy Burger 2 or 3 times through the years. My first visit was likely in/at Mother Road Market but a more recent visit was on October 29th (2025). In the midst of an economic stall (the federal government was shut down for 4 weeks at that point), eating out seemed like a luxury. I visited around 2pm for lunch. The weather was chilly and the staff was readily available. I was greeted and I browsed the menu for about 2mins before ordering. I ended up getting a single burger & rodeo fries. Afterwards, me & the lady cashier had a brief conversation about the state of the world as business was slower than usual. The restaurant isn't huge but it was well maintained. I sat near the West windows and the food came out shortly after. The highlight of the food was easily the burger itself. It was a decent size, the bread was soft, and the patty was just thick enough. Each bite was equally satisfying as they didn't hold back on the toppings. I will say that the fries are pretty standard, even with the extra toppings. I don't think the Rodeo Fries are worth wild but it didn't hurt to try. Lastly, I LOVE the variety of sauces they offer and the staff are happy to add them directly onto the sandwich or place them on the side. I've since returned to have the Fried Chicken Sandwich and it was just as good, if not better, than most famed chicken sandwich spots. I wasn't familiar with Howdy for a while and, as mentioned, there are many other places to get a cheeseburger, sandwich and/or fries. But what I like about Howdy is that they don't try too hard, they know what sells and they offer great service. Considering the price, consistency in their products and good people behind the counter, Howdy Burger is good enough to replace your favorite burger chain and/or fast food spot.

I think it is named after a local ranch so sorry if I butchered it. I asked what was on it... all I heard was grilled onions, jalapeños, and some sauce and I was all in!! The burger came on toast and is very similar to a patty melt if you like that style. Honestly it was a great burger. The wife and I shared some cheese and onion fries... I can't say enough about how delicious it was. My wife ended up getting the class burger which comes with cheese sauce to dip fries or your burger in....i wanted the cheese sauce on everything but I did my best to hold back. Service is always great accompanied with some local brews... honestly this is a great place to eat local beef and local brews!

It takes a LOT of reading before you can figure out what you want. I understand wanting to highlight farms that the beef is sourced from, but it shouldn't be the most prominent thing in the menu. It's super confusing. Last, the truffle fries need reworked badly. I got fries with some truffle-esque condiment squeezed randomly on top. Fries needed to be tossed in the sauce while hot, so it was a soggy mess. 1/5, wouldn't recommend those.
