GREAT burger in a great location! In the heart of the Route 66, Meadow Gold district - their original Howdy burger (double smashed patties) stacked with fresh veggies (ala In n Out style) was delish.

We are here early/late at around 5:00 p.m. it's our first time. We told our cashier Isaac that and he was very accommodating. He told us all about the menu and all of our options. He let me try the lemonade before buying. Which by the way is very good. It's very bright inside. Yellow tables and black chairs white walls but absolutely no decorations on the walls. Zero. Rock and roll music on the radio much better than Christian music. Omg! This burger. It might be the best one I've ever had. Definitely the best one in Tulsa so far. If you like the burgers here and you ever make it to New Orleans you have to try turkey and the wolf. This place is great. They even have tater tots at Patty's. They're okay. The fries are good though. My husband says the rodeo sauce is good. I'm not a mustard fan. It's a very light mustard taste. This place has been great from the moment we walked in the door. We will definitely be back

food i was pleasantly surprised to see the restaurant offers a veggie patty burger, with the funny name of &all hat&, so that is what i ordered. i'd expected that the restaurant might have a similarly funny name with a cattle ranching pun for onion rings, like &onion lasso rings&, kickback welcome, though it did not, so i spent on a vanilla milkshake instead, though that too might benefit from a punny name, like &valiant vanilla cattle cream shake&, wordy name less refined but just as available for kickback. saying that, the veggie patty burger was tasty, among if not the very best i've tried, and the milkshake was really tasty and easy to drink compared to others i've drank, in large part because of the wide straw with which it was served. service the service was efficient, with the drive thru worker being quick and kind. nevertheless, the same worker delivered the food as who received the order, and i do not think any car was ahead of us in line when we were ordering, so the restaurant may stand to benefit from having more workers on duty in the early evening. ambiance the restaurant exterior was visually appealing, having a country style salutation on the part of the building right after the drive thru, and an artful logo sign that strikes a balance to me between local attraction and burgeoning regional franchise.

We had a coupon which we've been meaning to use for a long time. We finally did it today. The burgers are good. Their signature is Rodeo sauce, which is ketchup, mayonnaise, and pickle juice. I'm not a big fan of ketchup and mayo on burgers, so I asked for mustard. Dan tried the rodeo sauce. I had a bite of his burger and it tasted ok. The fries were fresh and crispy. What I liked best was the bun. The bun is an underrated part of a hamburger. In my opinion the bread can make or break a burger. It's a small fast food restaurant, decorated with bright yellow tables. The service was excellent. We got 20% off our next trip just for checking in with Yelp, so we will be back.

This is my second visit but first review: first would have been meh burger, second I'm kind of angry. First burger was meh, so this time I went for the spicy chicken sandwich and was definitely unhappy. Just look at this thing, putting two 1/4" fried chicken patties on a sandwich does NOT make a 1/2" chicken patty. I love Red Light Chicken, so I expected it to be more like their chicken. Only the spice transferred. Do not make my mistake and get chicken at a burger restaurant. My husband has had good experiences, but he's on his own next time he wants Howdy.

The original and onion rings. (The photo didn't capture the golden thin crispy crust of the onion rings.)

Everything about this place gave us a great experience. From the customer service, to the food, speed of service, and cleanliness. One of the best burger places in town. We will be back. Bonus, the drive thru window for a quick take home meal.

Good burger & fries. Very helpful and friendly staff. Got the single Howdy burger. Small patty so next time I'll get the original with 2 patties. They feature their Rodeo Sauce on the burger. Counter man told me it's a mix of mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and pickle juice. Tasty. The place was much cleaner than most "fast food" burger joints. Also, by checking in I got a 20% coupon for my next 4pm-9pm dinner visit.

this is the best burger I've ever tried in Tulsa I love it so much it's flavorful the cheese is amazing they have good burger buns amazing service I've honestly only eaten their original Howdy burger with extra cheese & onion rings but I bet the other stuff is good too. You need to try the spicy mayo that they have it's so good with the burger. i recommend this place to anybody that's craving a cheesy burger that doesn't taste weird or have an after taste !!! great sized burger too

fries were horrible cold and chewy and the burger was disgusting it literally was falling out of the bun into pieces looks like a cracked out smash burger

We picked up some burgers to-go on a hungry whim. The service was fast and friendly. We each got a burger, and all four of us ate every bite. The fries were good, and the onion rings were the best I'd had in a while. The decor is cute and retro, and the dining area was clean.

I have been very reluctant to try Howdy Burger, not sure why. Maybe it is the weird contrived name "Howdy Burger!" What does that mean. Is the burger saying "Howdy" to me, or am I saying "Howdy" to the burger? This just bothers me. Well anyway we tried it. I went with the classic two patty burger and fries. My wife got a single and we split the fries. Lots of thin hot crisp McDonalds style fries! Being very cautious of the Rodeo Sauce, didn't have a clue what it was. We asked for it on the side. The nice lady taking our order disclosed the secret formula. Mayonnaise, Mustard, Ketchup and Pickle Juice. A concoction that needs my approval before contaminating a good burger. It wasn't bad. I thought it was better as a dip for the fries than on the burger. The two-meat patty burger originated on the grill as hand rolled balls. Then squished to form thin authentic ragged edge home style looking patties. Grilled to a slightly crisp finish and topped with cheese. The cheese dominated the thin burger patties. It is very cheesy. Add lettuce tomato and onion. So, what happened to the pickles that were in the pickle juice? A good tasting basket of burger and fries. I like it! Clean restaurant, friendly staff, order at the counter food delivered to your table.

Cool little spot! Place was clean!! Food was good! The WAG-GOUDA BURGER was really good!!! The rodeo sauce was on point!! The service was awesome- she answered all of our questions without giving us attitude since it was our first time there!! And they gave us extra fries for eating there for the first time!! That was soo cool of them!! This place is a must to eat for good burgers

    Rodeo Fries

The rodeo fries were to die for, I love a good smash burger, and they got the patties so flat it was perfect

Food was good and service was good. Had to go through the drive through. But we would have preferred to eat in the dining room.

Their signature spicy ketchup hit the spot, and the fries were golden and crisp. Service was friendly and fast, even during the dinner rush. The dining area was clean, and the staff kept things moving smoothly. Not quite five stars--the drive-thru line was a bit long, and the drink machine needed a quick wipe-down--but overall, it was a solid experience. Great burgers, good energy, and a must if you're craving a Texas-style classic in Oklahoma.

I rolled into the Whataburger drive-thru on Thanksgiving Day--because nothing says "holiday feast"…read morelike eating a burger in your car--and immediately sensed I had entered a dimension where time no longer behaved normally. There were, by my highly scientific estimate, at least one hundred employees inside. I could see them through the windows, all moving with the majestic slowness of a herd of sleepy turtles migrating uphill. One was stirring a drink so slowly I thought the spoon was stuck in molasses. Another blinked once, possibly twice, during my entire stay. Truly inspiring. Despite this overwhelming staff presence, it somehow took one full hour to get through the drive-thru. Sixty minutes. Long enough for me to finish an audiobook, reflect on my life choices, and watch three cars in front of me give up and flee the line like survivors of a fast-food apocalypse. When I finally reached the window, my burger looked like it had been assembled during a mild earthquake. The bun was sliding off like it was trying to escape the situation. The patty tasted like someone had described "beef" to a committee, and the committee decided to wing it. The lettuce drooped like it needed a nap. The fries were lukewarm, which is impressive considering the hourlong odyssey they must have undertaken to reach my vehicle. Salt content: 0% on the fries, 400% in my soul. Would I return? Honestly, yes--because its only option on Thanksgiving at 12:30am. Will I hate myself for doing so? Also yes

My boyfriend and I came here in early January and loved it, so naturally we had to come back when I…read morevisited him again. The hospitality this time around, was short of mediocre. We went through the drive-thru, and I'm assuming the menu outside hasn't been updated in a while. I order the #1, Deluxe Hamburger. Now, I've done my time in food service. I know what deluxe toppings are. Nowhere on the picture or in the name did it insinuate it had cheese on it. So upon ordering, I ask for the #1 Deluxe Hamburger meal, add cheese with a Pepsi. The gentleman asks "so just meat and cheese" and my boyfriend corrects him "no, add cheese." So the cashier repeats back, "okay extra cheese?" And I'm shaking my head. I want one slice of cheese, with the deluxe toppings!!!!!!! Why is that so hard. I literally spell it out for him, I hold my boyfriend back and say "No, I'd like the deluxe hamburger, all the toppings included, just add cheese, please." Whatever, so he takes my boyfriends order then repeats it for us at the end "extra cheese" dear goodness I understand now that the conflicting menus are at fault, but I deliberately told him just one single slice of cheese. Once we are at the window (mind you we are their only customers, both DT and inside) the guy opens the window and holds his hand out for the card. So incredibly rude I've never been that rude even on my worst days as a drive-thru attendant. He didn't say one word to us the entire time, no smiling, nothing. I have 5 years experience in 3 different fast food jobs, so I KNOW the struggle with problematic customers, so I'm always mindful not to be one. But this worker was just plain rude and terrible with his job. Get home, and yep they charged us for extra cheese, which adds up when the meal for 2 is already about $30. Very disappointed this time around, but the food was perfect, so I am indifferent about them closing down.

Wow. This close (finger and thumb held in close proximity to one another) to getting five stars…read morebut not quite. I love burgers. No surprise. I had driven past this place many times and I finally decided it was time to give them a try. It's a drive-thru with tables and chairs outside if you want to eat there (although most people I saw ate in their cars). The first thing that caught my eye was a bacon cheeseburger. How can you go wrong? I ordered the meal, which included a sweet tea and curly fries. I drove to the window and paid the lady and she handed me a drink the size of a waste paper basket. I had never seen anything this big. It took a few minutes but I was soon handed a brown paper bag and wished a nice day, or whatever. When I looked inside, there was the burger and fries but no ketchup and she had already closed the window. I was on the left side, so I would have to climb into the passenger seat to be able to reach the window to knock on it, so I went without ketchup and they lose one star. The hamburger was the best I've had since I moved to Tulsa. Hands down. The patty could have been a bit bigger but the flavor was wonderful. The bacon added to it, of course but the best part was that the tomato and onions and pickles were not processed (well, the pickles were). They were cut up fresh. Not like other fast food restaurants that use frozen and thawed vegetables. The french fries were curly and really good but they needed ketchup. I'll go again, and if they don't give me ketchup next time, I'll give them a copy of this review. The people there, by the way, are some of the nicest I've dealt with at a restaurant here. Just genuinely nice and polite.
