Thought I'd give them a chance while we were in Skiatook today. I've been craving a beef muchaco for a couple years. I went through the drive-thru, they were busy inside, and there were a few cars ahead of me. My order was taken, read back, all went well. There was a brief wait at the window, but understandable since they're busy. When I got home my food looked like the typical fast food, we live about 30 minutes away. I ate my food, it tasted good to me. My sensitive stomach didn't make a peep! Todays visit was a hit for me! I'll stop by again when I'm in the area. read more

Even when there are employees at the front when you come in they run to the back and you will wait at least t minutes before someone comes to take your order. Today the lost our order through the drive through. When we went in to ask what happened the drive through girl laughed at us like we were stupid. Served burnt food and made a dozen excuses. When asked why she served burnt food she said it wasn't burned it was crispy. That it was cleaned every night I asked why it wasn't cleaned between customers if it was burned she said cheese got on it and it burned it and I wasn't gonna "talk down to her" about how she served her food. Don't waste your time or your money... management would rather argue about what they didn't do wrong than to take care of their customers! Would you serve this to YOUR family? Slowest drive through service of my life. And then I get out of the line and have no salsa in the bag! Their dining room closed at 8:30. At exactly 8:30 I tried to go in to get salsa and it was already locked up. Had to get back in the drive through line and wait 15 more min for salsa. Waste of time. read more

Not even worth rating!!!! Help is rude slow and obviously not been taught how to manage or work in fast food industry! No salsa bar, no tea available without asking and waiting forever and it's old. We've tried this place 4 times, I will give them one thing they are consistently bad. I waited 32 minutes behind two other cars, I got my order and drove away. I realized once I got to the end of town it was the wrong order. I stopped by on my way home to let them know what happened. Well ... I was treated very rudely and the manager acted very defensive even thou I stayed polite. No big deal on the mix up, but service an attitudes like that, no thanks. I usually go there with my grandma and every time we go the employees never say thank you. They usually add too much of something on her Burrito. One of the employees was rude to my grandma and just basically shoved the food out of the window. Her food can also look very unappetizing . I've been a steady customer at this Taco Bueno for going on three years and decided to give it a Yelp review. It is very consistent in the quality of the food, as well as the customer service. Most of the staff have been there since I became a customer, which tells you a lot about the quality of the management. I highly recommend this TB location based on consistently great food and great staff. read more

Well I didn't actually get what I ordered today. I ordered a Nacho Salad with chicken , but they put it on the receipt as beef. So since I was already home I just went ahead and ate it. Their food is always excellent so I have no complaints. They just need to listen to the customers. If I had an allergy to beef then I would have taken it back, but it was just too hot today to go back out! read more

After seeing a commercial for the new brisket items, we decided to give it a try. Only 1/3 for the flower tortilla had anything in it. Complete bait and switch! And when I called the manager to ask what was up with that, she said the corporate trainer showed them how much to put in and that they use 2oz ladles. No offer to remake! And they always throw every thing in the bag 1/2 wrapped and upside down. I often wonder how a fast food place that consistently screws up orders could stay in business. read more

My family likes to eat Taco Bueno and was traveling to Owasso. I couldn't wait for Taco Bueno to open in Skiatook, much closer to home. What we got was Taco GUANO!! Instead. I know there will be some mistakes during the learning curve. However this establishment has been open long enough that the learning curve should not be an issue, in fact things were better when they first opened. My issues are systemic to the point that I will be going back to Owasso, or to other establishments in Skiatook. 1. Beef whole lotta platter is slopped together 2. Muchacos nothing but a big glob of dried out Beens with very little meet, a few strands of lettuce and one piece of tomato. 3. Big freaking tacos come with broken shells 4. They need to provide the employees a knife to cut the big freaking quesadillas. They come with an attempt to cut them with something very dull 5. You will be wise to check to go orders before you leave, because odds are great the order will be wrong! read more

I just want to take a moment to tell you what an amazing store the Skiatook Oklahoma location store #8038 is! The store is always immaculately clean, the food is hot and so delicious, and the owner has been on site every time we have been in. The staff is so very friendly! My husband and I drive past 3 sometimes 4 other Buenos just to visit the Skiatook resturant. You can definately tell this owner runs a tight ship and takes pride in his store as well as his staff! After getting cold tasteless food, and crappy service in Bartlesville Ok and cold moldy food in the Owasso location Skiatook has definately restored my opion of Taco Bueno!! This will be the only Bueno we visit from here in out! read more

Took 9+ minutes to get my order in, and there was only 2 people in front of me. The girl taking orders had no idea what she was doing and had to keep calling people over to help her. While in line, I decided to completely change my order as to not confuse her. 2 beef Bob's is what I ordered, and it took 13 minutes to come out! The poor older lady that was handing out orders was running around trying to deliver to-go orders, but they were all wrong, and she was having to go back and forth. She should have checked them herself before bringing them out, but anyway.... The other 2 guys that were with me had their food and finished it before I could even sit down. I wound up eating my lunch in the truck on the go, because the little bit of time we had to stop and eat, was wasted trying to order and actually get my food! We stopped here for a speedy lunch, and turned into me being frustrated for the next couple hours at the lack of competence! Also my Bob's were the smallest Bob's I've ever gotten from any Taco Bueno. I eat these all the time, so I have a pretty good idea of what they're supposed to look like... What a freaking let down! FYI, I went to a sit down Mexican restaurant not far away and it actually took less time to get in and out then Taco Bueno! Unacceptable!!! And actually the price was cheaper, which begs the question, Why would you come to Taco Bueno in Skiatook when you can go down the street and have a better quality food in a shorter amount of time for cheaper? I won't say the name of the restaurant as to not sound like I'm trying to advertise for them. I'm giving 2 stars because the food was at least Bueno quality as far as the taste (not the size), and the restaurant was pretty clean. Food was terrible, bread on muchaco hard, cold food, cold tortilla on soft taco, sent food back which I rarely do, came back the same, for both a friend and myself, 3 people behind us had to send theirs back also for the same reasons, food not fresh. There were total 8 people in restaurant with at least 5 people in kitchen, 2 managers so they said, and only 2 people working, (and they were teenagers) I could see into kitchen with some liquid spilled on floor and for the whole time we were there, noone cleaned it up. The managers blamed the bad food on a broken fan in kitchen, never offered my money back, and never apologized. Needless to say, will not be going again. Please tell your managers all they needed to do was to accept responsibility for the problem and make it right instead of trying to insult your customers by making stupid excuses for bad food served not once but TWICE. read more

Most of the food here is great! I personally don't go for the nachos. The meat is scarce, mushy, and tasteless.The rest of the food tastes fresh and good for fast food. The staff here are the friendliest people I've seen anywhere. The service is very fast. The meal platters are huge. I get notices for special deals by email.I love Taco Bueno! read more
