We had Grill'd for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint. We ordered the mushroom Swiss burger, the Philly mushroom & onion, and the classic gyro. For our sides we chose the fried & onion rings. The burger was hands down one of the best I've had in the Tulsa area. The meat had such an amazing flavor and the quality was great, you can taste the freshness. The Philly was a great size and fully loaded! The bread was soft and pillowy and overall a great sandwich. The gyro was filled to the brim with meat and tasted so fresh as well, packed with veggies and sauce. The fries had a nice seasoning on top that added a nice flavor. The onion rings were incredibly crisp and not greasy one bit for being fried I was pleasantly surprised. Customer service was good, kind staff. We will definitely be back again soon. read more

The onion rings were excellent -- crispy, well-seasoned, easily the highlight of the meal. The burger was fine, so the kitchen clearly knows how to handle basic grill items. The problem was the sandwiches: * Cheesesteak was dry and under-seasoned * Very little flavor overall * Bread wasn't bad, but added nothing * The chicken cheesesteak had the same issues, so it's not just the beef There was also an order issue: asking for no onions resulted in no peppers either, even though peppers were wanted. That suggests the toppings are treated as a single mix rather than customized. Grill'd seems to do burgers and fried sides well, but the cheesesteaks don't live up to the name. If you come here, I'd recommend sticking to burgers or onion rings and skipping the cheesesteaks. read more

My wife went healthy with a rice bowl. A bowl of rice, Mediterranean salad vegetables, falafels (aka Mediterranean style Hush Puppies) and excellent tzatziki on the side to dip or drizzle as you see fit. The falafels were excellent. Crispy, flavorful, plenty of parsley mixed with the chick peas. Her only comment, other than the falafels were some of the best she has had, "I wish I could get the meal just as a big Mediterranean salad without the rice." The restaurant is clean with many tables. There is a drive through. Inside order at the counter and pick your food up at the counter. Being right there on one of the busiest streets in Tulsa, GRILL'D has a steady flow of customers. The restaurant was busy this afternoon and shorthanded on staff. The only lady working, was managing the drive through window, the dine in customers and the to-go orders. As busy as things were, she took good care of everyone. My wife and I visited the recently opened Grill'd. My first impression was in the cleanliness of the restaurant. This place was very clean. We placed our order upon entering. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak combo and my wife ordered the Beef Shawarma combo. We were provided cups for drinks at the self-serve station and a number. We did not have a long wait and the food was delivered to the table. Both meals were good. My only critique is the tater tots were slightly overcooked. Well we were excited about trying something new but it just didn't make the line up of places we want to return to. The good parts were the Philly & mushroom sandwich was good as were the onion rings. This place has great potential and I can see it becoming a really great burger joint. I got the onion burger and all their burgers come with two patties but I would've liked my burger more if it were just a single patty. Everything on the burger had great flavor but I think I would've enjoyed it more had it only came with 1 patty. Their fries were just okay. My sister got the cheese steak and she said it was really good. The food came out pretty fast. My niece and nephew got the chicken fingers and fries. They reminded me of high school cafeteria tenders. Staff was very friendly and even brought my niece and nephew free chocolate chip cookie each and I tried a bite and the cookie was very very good! I'm picky about how I like my cookies and these were There was a lot of seating. At the drink fountain area is where you get straws, lids, and plastic ware. The smash burger was crispy on the edges and so flavorful. The onion ring was super crispy and just the right amount of BBQ sauce. I can't say enough how good it was. The tots?so crispy and crunchy. Randomly tried this place because I heard they had a burger special. Oddly enough I have now found that this place has the best burger in the area. Was a lot like Freddy's but it was juicier and tasted better. The fries are the one area where you will either like them or hate them, these aren't your little string potato fries they are much more like a home made fry. Thick enough you can taste the potato about the same size as a Wendy's fry but a thinner outer layer and no potato skin on the fries. They have other stuff... and I'll probably try it at some point... but for now I can only say they are the absolute best burger in the area. I know lots of people like Scott's... but this place puts them to shame when it comes to burgers. UPDATE... Made a second stop, can now say that they have very good onion rings, probably the best I have had in the area much better than the fries in my opinion... but if you don't like onion rings you really won't like these because they are nice thick onions juicy and not the onion skin garbage you often get in a fast food joint. Also tried a double patty burger, frankly unless you are really hungry you will be better off with just a single patty burger. read more
