Wow! This was my first time eating food from here, and I really enjoyed it especially considering that we took it to-go. It was fresh and flavorful. I ordered the chicken kabob, and it was juicy and tender. The portion size was nice- I can easily get 2 meals out of it. The hummus is nice, the tabouli is fresh, the rice is tender, and the garlic sauce is amazing! Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean and casual.

Baklava - delicious and addictive!

I have worked close to their restaurant for years and had not visited until very recently. I usually bring my lunch to work to save money but this day my husband came up to have lunch with me. This restaurant is only open for lunch during the week, with slightly longer hours on Saturdays. When we visited around 12:15 on a Tuesday it was packed!! Line out the door! We quickly learned why - it's an amazing value and the food is so, so good! The owner was running the register and was super friendly, explaining the available vegan options and the daily specials. My husband ordered the cabbage roll plate - it comes with 2 massive cabbage rolls, hummus, tabouli, and pita bread. I ordered the vegan sampler which included a vegan cabbage roll, 2 stuffed grape leaves, hummus, tabouli, a falafel, and tahini for dipping. Our food was so flavorful! Everything was great. The falafel was not dry at all on the inside, but nice and crunchy on the outside. My husband loved his cabbage rolls. We also ordered a piece of baklava to try - it was delicious as well!! Even though it was super busy on our visit we were still able to find a table. The staff kept the tables cleared off and the food came out quickly. There are to-go containers available on top of the dessert case; you don't have to wait for a staff member to get you one when you're ready to go. Overall a great experience and we'll definitely be back! Large portions for a great price, vegan options, friendly staff.

Best hummus I've ever had. Cabbage rolls were good. Son wasn't crazy about his burger, but the fries were good.

One of my new favorites! And Shawkat's has been around for a while. My husband and I went for lunch and wondered why we have waited so long to return. The lebanese food is so authentic and delicious. Very friendly and helpful service. My husband had the Sampler Platter. It had 2 grape leaves, a big cabbage roll, falafel and kibbi along with tabouli, hummus and pita bread. I had the gyro platter with gyro meat, rice, hummus, pita bread and tabouli. It was so good I can't wait to go back. They had a lot more we want to try. Highly recommend.

How did I not know about this place! Are here with a friend recently and holy cow it was fantastic. One of those meals with not a lot of talking and a whole lot of eating. The prices are a little more towards being expensive but the quality of food seems to justify some of it. I know everything is just getting more expensive these days so it is what it is. Even with that in mind I'd eat here everyday if I was a little closer to it. The staff were extremely friendly and made it the whole place very welcoming. The dining area was very very clean and tidy. I can't recommend this place enough.

Y'all, Shawkat's is really good, one of the best Mediterranean restaurants in Tulsa. The food is delicious. What's more impressive is the food comes out in minutes, mind blowing fast. The Jake's special (1 chicken skewer and 1 kafta skewer) was great. The beef was definitely better than the chicken. Both were well seasoned but the chicken was kind of dry. The rice was not basmati. It was really soft and had ground beef in it. I really liked the rice at Shawkat's. Why not 5 stars? The hours of operation are terrible. I have been trying to come here but they only open during lunch hours and close super early. It's almost impossible to come in depending on work.

Vegan menu side 1, it's all delicious

We've been coming here for years and we've never had anything less than a great experience. The vegan food is so good and there are so many options! For the meaty friends, they have plenty of stuff that our meaty friends like. The baba ganoush here is one of my favorites in town, same with the falafel. The tabbouleh might be my favorite. The parsley is fresh, the lemon tang is awesome, just all around a really good time. The service is also always en pointe. Everyone is nice, helpful, and can answer questions about the food. If you haven't been, go here! (*PS Shawkat's please open a joint downtown. There's nowhere to get falafel or baba. You'd be doing us a huge favour!*)

Absolutely the best cabbage rolls I've ever had! So much flavor and perfect consistency. Also, super friendly and quick service! Awesome job.

Loved every dish we had here. The shawarma #2 was simple dish but great flavor, next time I'll ask for some hot Chilli. The Fire fries were really good, the crunch, favors, and the fried onions and jalapeño were a great combo.

Great experience calling in my order. The lady who answered was kind. Also I picked up my order a little late, and she was understanding. The order (from a NOT mediterranean food connoisseur ): Gyro wrap - delicious and well balanced with onion, pickles, meat, tzatziki, and warm pita bread. Gyro meat was well spiced and just overall really delish. Gyro platter #2 (rice instead of a wrap) - rice looked like brown rice but tasted savory and paired well with the meat. Tzatziki was on the side. Hummus was mild and was a more fluid consistency and tasted great with the side of 2 pita bread quarters. Tabouli has a combination taste of subtle tangy and herbs/parsley (kinda refreshing). Beef shawarma wrap platter - beef was well done but still had juiciness and good flavor. Was well combined with tomato, parsley, and some kind of sauce. The wrap easily fell apart and became messy, but that's all right haha. Overall, food was nice; gyro dishes were the best though :) Would recommend for food and an easygoing, casual atmosphere in the restaurant (plenty of seating with booths as well as chairs and tables).

That lentil shawarma is phenomenal. Everything I've had there is great, though. So glad to have this near my neighborhood.

We split a slice of the passion fruit chocolate pie along with a couple of regular drip coffees. (Of course, we had to get some of the orange-chocolate chip cookies to go.) I liked the pie. Interesting flavors. The chocolate chips did not overpower the subtle passion fruit cream. It was served a bit haphazard though (but that's just me being picky). My biggest complaint was with the coffee and some of the service. I guess I will order an Americano or something next time because the drip coffee was luke warm at best. We were bussing our own table and one of the staff didn't even seem to know what to do with our dishes. Nobody was overly friendly. So I went in today to do this and not only were the staff yet again amazing and friendly and helpful, but they offered to let me try something else and the manager told me they're known for their cakes. since I have never tried their cake before I decided to go for that. I tried the strawberry lemon cake and I am not a cake person, usually because they have tons of icing which is just not my thing. However, this cake does not have icing instead it has this lemon strawberry cream in the middle of the cake with some whipped cream and it is the best thing. This is now the only way that I want someone to give me cake is like this. My next birthday, I'm gonna be asking for a cake like this and I officially will be back to this place. I'm just been blown away by the customer service but also I'm thrilled that they corrected their lemon bars and now I found a place where I can actually like cake.
