    BLT sandwich

This is an amazing addition to The Heights. The place has such an unassuming and homey ambiance. There's some limited seating outside and more seating available inside along a bar and some tables as well. The menu isn't very extensive but the options they have are impeccable. They have some breakfast and lunch options with a special brunch menu available on Sundays. You can make a reservation on their website. It's a farm to table concept and the ingredients used are super fresh and everything is made from scratch. The simplicity in their dishes is surprisingly full of flavor. For breakfast, you can't go wrong with their buttermilk biscuits. Their cinnamon buns are fluffy and not overwhelmingly sweet. The tomato, truffle burrata and pesto salad was hands down my favorite. Every bite was absolutely delicious. Finally, their BLT was the first sandwich I've liked in a while. Highly recommend. I'll be coming back to try their brunch for sure. Finally, they have great teas available, including a botanic sparkling tea line that I'm obsessed with. They also have a variety of products for sale towards the restroom. Check out their website for more information on what they carry.

Prism cafe can't be missed when you stop through Tulsa! We had a large group of eight and we were able to sit and eat together since we got there right when it opened at 11, they got slammed shortly after so I'm so glad we got there early! The food is super fresh--locally sourced- extremely yummy! (and they were able to accommodate our allergies and preferences like gluten-free options and oat milk for coffee!) We highly recommend!

    Butternut squash and rosemary soup

We bought a quart of Prism's butternut squash and rosemary soup to see us through a January snow. It was absolutely delicious! It was so fresh: the staff had just finished making it, and handed me the Mason jar while it was still warm! Their dine-in space is very small.

Wonderful hidden neighborhood cafe. We went for dinner in a Friday night without a reservation and were seated at bar. Had a glass of the house wine, which was a well balanced Malbec. Husband had the fried chicken, which was super tasty. I had the cod and artichoke puree. This was cooked perfectly and all very fresh. Friendly staff and exceptional food.

What a well hidden gem. Just enjoyed the freshest tasting high quality sandwiches around. We will definitely be back. Do check the hours as they are only open Wednesday to Saturdays. This quaint restaurant is located in the Heights neighborhood.

We tried this small cafe for the first time today. The ambiance was warm and the food was excellent. We plan on going back.

I tried the Chicken fried Chicken. I had no idea the size of the servings. The side dishes were very good. I couldnt finish all of what I ordered. What follows is why I will NEVER STEP FOOT IN ANTOHER FREEWAY CAFE AGAIN. A few weeks ago, I went in and sat at a table. I watched two other tables of people (one couple another two tables) come in after me. Both got served water and I menus as still waited. I waited still as the waitress came and took an order at one of the tables....still no water, still no menu. I decided I may be invisible, so I got up and walked out. I didn't storm out, just walked out. As I did, the waitresses, literally loitering behind the counter (it was not a busy day) said, "oh, she's leaving". Fast forward to today, we decided to order a late breakfast in. I thought I would give them another chance, maybe it was an off day. Not the case. I went in to get my food from the counter. I waited while the waitress helped someone ahead of me. She asked my name and I told her and she said they were working on it. She went and got two food cartons and put them down in front of me and told me the total. We had ordered an extra side which was not there and I let her know (in an even tone). She barked back at me that she wasn't done. The man next to me looked bewildered. I began to tell the man about my last experience and the waitress interrupted our conversation and basically told me to shut-up. I was stunned. Additionally, the food has gone downhill. I will never set foot in any Freeway Cafe again. I was trying to support local; but there are plenty of better local eateries. I don't know why the atmosphere at this place has changed, but the tension is so thick you can cut it with a knife. Good riddance, Freeway Cafe.
